10,0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing service, rooms decorated with a lot of love and attention to detail, great view.
Cons: Bedroom slippers and bathrobes would have been a nice addition.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The Mazaraki Guest House is a beautiful bed & breakfast type of residence with an amazing view of Sparta/Mystras in an idyllic and peaceful setting. Breakfast is brought to your room each morning by super friendly staff.. all fresh, local, and natural. I was there to attend a race in Sparta, so didn't explore the immediate vicinity so much, but from my impressions, you'll need a car to get the most of a visit to this part of Greece. This is an ideal place for a relaxing retreat.
Cons: The rooms were a bit old and worn, but I'm not squeamish about these types of things. If you're expecting a completely luxe experience, you're probably better off staying elsewhere. If you're trying to get away and want a place to chill, relax, and just "be," The Mazaraki Guesthouse won't do you wrong! There's spotty internet access in places, but when you're here, being connected doesn't seem to matter so much anymore.

9,6 Excellent
Pros: The ambiance, the peacefulness.
Cons: The lighting in the bungalow especially the bathroom should be improved.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Fabulous property up the mountains. Staff could not have been friendlier or helpful if they tried. Perfect peace and tranquility and mountain views that are beyond description. Food is of good quality and reasonably priced especially bearing in mind the remoteness of the resort. The road to the resort is a challenging drive but you are more than amply rewarded when you arrive.

Pros: Fantastic place: view, facilities, service and food. Simply WOW!!!! Very strongly and positively impressed. Wish we had a chance to stay there longer

10,0 Excellent
Pros: All the staff were fantastic. Professional, friendly and helpful. Faultless check in procedure. It worked really well The best run hotel I've stayed in for a long time. The rooms were brilliantly designed, well thought out, comfortable and with everything conveniently laid out. Stunning view from balcony. Maybe it was the the walk up the hill but the mattress was like sleeping on a cloud. Quality bedding. Breakfast wonderful with great selection of home made locally sourced food. Great pool and outdoor bar area. Elegant public rooms. Good library.
Cons: This was, without doubt, the best place we have stayed during our 3 week trip. There was nothing we didn't like.

Pros: My go to in Sparti. Excellent hotel. Great location. Request a room with a balcony
Cons: N/a
6,3 Good
Pros: Good location for town wandering. Reasonably helpful staff. Met expectation as a city centre hotel.
Cons: Noisy aircon. Lacked atmosphere. Piped music. Outdoor swimming pool in shade hence cold. Poor options for car parking.
7,0 Good
Pros: Staff are very helpful
Cons: The room should have a box of tissues in the bathroom and a kettle, an iron and ironing board would also be nice
6,7 Good
Pros: Food was great, location was awesome for the most part.
Cons: Beds were too old and so you rolled to the worn out side. Located near some kind of night club that was loud until late. Would still stay here again.
5,0 Okay
Pros: location ok room ok
Cons: lousy internet staff not properly mannered inferior bed sheets
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Brilliant location! Welcoming feel about the hotel. Room was clean and spacious enough. Cleaning staff were very friendly. Reception staff were so very friendly and welcoming. Love the pool. Overall a nice hotel and would stay here again.
Cons: Breakfast-service was not friendly. Please add Peppermint tea amongst the other teas. Scrambled eggs need to be improved. Please cater for people who have food sensitivities, offer Almond milk, clean Granola instead of the sugary options. Also, service was brilliant one evening and the food was really good, love how you offer grilled vegetables, vegetables on the side. But the second evening the service was really poor. We were forgotten, had to go up and get our own menus, our table had to be set up, a soup we ordered never came, we then had to go to the bar and ask to pay as we could not get anyone`s attention despite only two tables being occupied in the restaurant... So a hit and a miss with the restaurant. But we would definitely go back to eat there as we were very happy with the quality of food.
Maniatis Hotel - Sparta - Building

8,6 Excellent (636 reviews)
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great comfort & much quieter than expected given the central, busy location
Cons: Would have loved toast for breakfast
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The property was in a great location and was central so the convenience was great especially with a baby. The staff were very helpful and extremely friendly which made the stay very comfortable
Cons: The only thing with regards to the location is you can hear the nightlife in the evening and early hours of the morning but eventually you do get used to the sounds
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Very good menu. Food good and fair prices
Cons: No hot water - Greek ideas about hot water are different to European. Water was very warm but not hot enough to bath or have good shower
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, close to the central square and plenty of cafes and restaurants.
7,9 Good
Pros: The breakfast was ok, but the breakfast room was a bit claustrophobic and the acoustics were bad. The location was excellent; it was clean and the staff were nice. The lobby was nice and pleasantly furnished.
Cons: Rooms were too small and dark as were the hallways. The shower was microscopic. This area is in need of some updating.
7,1 Good
Pros: I love this hotel. Stayed there in my youth with my mom. Location and staff was great. Room size is fair. Dinner menu excellent for their prices.
Cons: Breakfast is poor. Not enough variation. Eggs scrambled could be for flavorful with addition of butter. More variety of greek meats like lokaniko etc. The bacon was never cooked enough- could be dangerous for guests. For example - the breakfast at Lakonia is much better with cheaper price but that hotel is a lower quality than Maniatis. The rooms are small. There is no safe. The bathroom shower is small. Lighting is not enough especially for females doing make up and hair. Some guests are too noisy and you can hear from the other rooms.

Pros: The hotel locates in the center of the town and is very convenient. Staff are friendly. We asked for some hot water and got it quickly. The breakfast buffet was tasty.
Cons: The street in front of the hotel is a little bit noisy during night. The shower place is sperated with only curtain. We used it carefully but still made the bathroom all wet.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was very good, a buffet type with multiple choices. Also the staff super friendly, and the hotel gave us a parking spot in front of the hotel, super useful. You get a high value for the price you pay. It very close to the main plaza and cosy places of Sparta.
Cons: It's a very nice hotel, the Wifi coverage is perfect, but sometimes the speed of navigation is a bit slower, a common characteristic in all Greece (rather than Athens)
