the person at the desk was very friendly
No coffee in the room and our view was a wall
love the size of the room and how modern the interior was. Big TV in the room, very roomy. LOVED THE OUTLETS ON BOTH SIDES OF THE BED, plug in and usb. Individual lambs on each side of the bed were fancy. Loved that there was a window included. Ice machine is on second floor. very clean and nice hotel, staff was friendly.
There was no microwave, the bathroom floor would flood because there wasn't a door to the shower and it was open. Although its very roomy, it is also very echoey. Something was wrong with the AC, i dont know if its timed to go on and then shut off again or its supposed to stay on, but it kept turning off and on, one point it didnt turn back on. and the temp we set it on wouldnt stay at that temperature, good thing there was a window tho and its cold out!
The staff were extremely friendly and engaging from the moment I walked in. It was easy to check in, and finding my room was a breeze. I was shocked at how clean and comfy everything was, especially the bed! The shower was immaculate and the rain head was a nice touch. There really wasn't anything to dislike about the stay.
Finding the hotel parking was a challenge! It's tucked down an alley and the local construction added to the endeavor. Once parked, everything else was a dream.
Very clean, beds super comfortable!
Lobby was a little stale and there was never someone at the front desk. They charge a resort fee and honestly I'm not sure why as there were not many obvious extra amenities... Serve breakfast or better coffee... Maybe serve wine at night something to make the value better
The windows in the room don’t have shades and it’s in a very dense location so it was very bright at night and difficult to sleep. The staff was pretty unresponsive to questions and generally unhelpful. Location was okay but there was a ton of construction and the staff hadn’t put any info out on how to avoid surrounding street closures etc. The rooms were also incredibly sparse and felt more like a hostel than a boutique hotel.
In the most coveted corner of Seattle, our family-owned and operated boutique hotel delivers the upscale amenities and polished style of a luxury property, with all of the warmth and comfort of your neighborhood hangout. We’re delighted to welcome you to our hotel in our home town of Seattle,WA. Originally built for the World’s Fair in 1962, our hotel is one of the few remaining family-run properties in the city. The hotel has recently been reborn with today’s savviest travelers in mind, but even as we updated and reimagined the building, we wanted to retain its Space Age optimism. Like Seattle, our hotel is exuberant and creative, laidback and sophisticated and, above all else, a welcoming place to all.
