Fantastic location! The hotel is all about detail and decor. Loved the art work. Drinks at the rooftop are a must, great views.
Very nice view of the river. Entire hotel staff was accommodating and very friendly. Went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. Hotel location was perfect.
Music outdoors was excessive late Saturday night
The hotel is beautiful and is in an excellent location. The décor was unique and exactly what I had hoped for. The hotel staff were all very helpful and friendly. The valet parking was great since there is no parking at the hotel's location. The room was exceptionally clean and everything was well kept up. We had a great view of the river and enjoyed walking around and exploring Savannah. We didn't hear any noise from other hotel guests from our room. It was nice and quiet.
The room was beautiful, but it was smaller than we expected. We also didn't expect barn doors opening up to the bathroom or a see-through door to the toilet area. We prefer a more private bathroom experience and fail to see the romance of being able to see each other on the toilet. With that being said, it is possible to shut the barn doors and the main door to the bathroom for privacy. We had a corner room and, although we did have a nice view of the river out one side, the view out the other side was the side of another hotel. We went to the restaurant downstairs for a cup of coffee in the morning and the service was terrible. When we ordered a second cup of coffee the waitress brought the coffee but took away the creamer. We asked for more cream and sugar and she took away the coffee stirrer. By the time we got the coffee, creamer, sugar, and coffee stirrer, the coffee was cold. On top of all that, it cost $8 for mediocre coffee and bad service. I wish we had gone absolutely anywhere else to get our coffee that morning.
unpleasant odor in river level restaurant. eggs tasted funny
This is a poor attempt at a "boutique" hotel. first, the "corner" room we booked was at the end of a hall but not a true corner room with windows on two sides as expected and hence, over priced. "bathroom"was not a true separate room but area separated from bed area by a curtain-hardly adequate for a very expensive room rate. The safe would not lock-maintenance told us the panel electronics were faulty and could not be replaced during our stay which was very inconvenient and we had to carry valuables and extra cash with us the entire trip. The staff, however, were very friendly and did their jobs quite well. Overall though, poor value.
Asked for a cab and check in gal acted like I was putting her out. Asked if I had Uber app and I said no and just gave me a stare. Rude
