The Bathroom made me feel like a millionaire! Even though I was on a work trip, my evenings felt like a luxury vacation
They gave me my damage deposit back in cash, I thought that was kind of weird... but not a big deal.
They have the most helpful friendly staff.
There wasn't anything not to like.
Don't book here.
This was one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at. I was visiting for work and upon arrival, they lost my prepaid two-night hotel stay. Rather then just figuring it out, I stood there for 15 minutes while staff and management stood looking confused at what to do. I did finally get a room but my reservation and payment was still lost. No one spoke to me about this at all over the next three days I was at the hotel. The staff that worked the conference wasn't great either - rude at some points with no happy faces. Several meals during that conference were inedible (items were cold, hard, greasy, poorly made) and very expensive and the table service was non-existent. I took my own dishes out into the hall after waiting over an hour for my plate to be removed. After dinner coffee was finally served after the plates were removed - once - with no refills. My bed was fairly comfortable and the room was clean, however, the vent was disgusting that was blowing the air into my room. The next morning I also had an invoice for the full amount slipped under my door, confirming they had not solved the problem - until I went down and it was fixed - but refused to give me a zeroed out invoice after I asked twice. This extended stay was exceptionally disappointing and I will never return to this hotel. How I was treated just trying to check in as a guest was unnecessary, but the overall experience was not isolated to one or two things. It was the whole stay.
Like the internal garden atmosphere...
The room was too warm than expected and the fan was a bit loud as well.
Fantastic Stay
Staff were super friendly. Rooms were fairly large and comfortable. Location has easy access. Located close to airport but you aren't bothered by air traffic noise in the least. Close to the edge of the city so it is easy access if you are attending the several sport and function locations just north of the city.
Vacuuming should have been better in the hallways and rooms. There was quite a bit of "debris" on the carpets that could have been easily cleaned with a quick vacuum. This situation was present when we arrived and the same debris was there when we left three days later.
Leaving for airport in early am
Good price
It took a long time to get air mattress and the sheets never did come . Mattress was dirty on plush side. Good thing we had a sleeping bag I didn't like the clear glass door on the bathroom. When one person was up In the night to bathroom the whole room woke up due to light and banging lock.
Very quiet and comfortable
We stayed for 4 nights and the pigeon who liked to sit outside our window was the only thing we heard. There was no hotel or hallway noise. The restaurant staff were wonderful with our kids. The kids really liked the bridge at the pool.
More Modern than Expected
Coming from Saskatoon, I know that the Saskatoon Inn has been around forever, it was surprisingly modern and extremely clean. We only stayed one night but it was a great stay!
Nothing, the bed was uncomfortable the room stank of smoke although we requested on smoking and it was grossly over priced
see above
The staff were very cordial and friendly as well as being very helpful. The room was nice with ample heating and cooling. Meals at Botanica were excellent.
There was a bit of a problem getting hot water, but they responded quickly with a serviceman who advised us as to how to get around the situation.
The restaurant staff were very nice and helpful. The food was very good.
Check in was painful. The desk clerk was not quickly helpful and excuses relating to booking on line versus booking directly with the hotel eliminated any "guarantee" of room availability. Beds were very bad, they need replacing.
All the staff were very friendly and helpful
no complaints
nice hotel and in a good location for what we were there for
Staff were pleasant and helpful. It was close to the airport as we were flying out of the city.
The bed was very comfortable and they did give us a price break for the hassle we received. (See below) The checkout time was good.
When I reserved, I added a note that we would be there very late and that I expected a non smoking room with two beds to be reserved for us. When we got there, they did not have a standard room with 2 queens as I had reserved and in fact booked me into a smoking suite with only one bed and a hide a bed. I was really not impressed! We did get there late (2 am) because of the bad roads, etc. and then I found out they had not held our room for us. They did finally find a non smoking suite with one queen bed and a hide a bed. We requested a lower price. They told me that the reason they didn't have the kind of room I reserved was because I used a third party to reserve.
The stay was very comfortable and the satff were friendly and helpful
There was a roll away bed in teh room and we did not order that. I was asked to push it into the hall rather than a satff person arriving and doing it. If I would have been incapacitated in any way, that would not have been good.
the service was excellent, the restaurant had excellent food, loved the atrium and the pool, a great little gym.
