Pros (+) Beautiful decor made by craftsman- Black Walnut & Birds Eye Maple walls, nice library for talking, reading or a late night sip. Covered porch was great for sitting out at night. Staff is highly attentive and friendly. Bedrooms are laid out well and comfortable. Very conveniently located next to Congress park and a short walk to Broadway/ downtown.
Cons (-) Breakfast was a bit late- no coffee until 7:00. I am an early riser so I had to go town (only a mile away) to get my caffeine. Breakfast was adequate but not many healthy choices. Would have been nice to have oatmeal and some hard boiled eggs so I didn't have to eat the yolks. Also some whole grain bread and cheese.
