Pros: The front desk! They were amazing for providing great customer service. I wish I could remember all 3 ladies names but we stayed 6/23-24.
Cons: The A/C wasn't cold enough but not unbearable.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We loved the big walk in shower, the loveseat with ottoman, and the television that swiveled. It was a great room, my husband said one of the best we have ever stayed in.
Cons: I really feel strongly that motels should put comfort height commodes. Our grandchildren use them just fine and all the adults prefer them. Yours are just too short!

Pros: Location,rooms and staff!
Cons: No
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff... from the shuttle drivers to the overnight desk clerk to the housekeepers... every single one was so nice and pleasant. In a world of travel snafus + too many nights away from home, that makes a massive difference.
Cons: The day time desk people couldn't really be bothered.
3,0 Mediocre
Pros: You have to have your room key inserted behind your door as you walk in the room so that the air conditioner and lights will work. The air conditioner never worked properly!!! All this to save money on electricity for the Marriott! No more Marriott. :(
Cons: People need to know the length that this hotel chain will go through to save money at the customer’s expense. The new “no air conditioning on when you are gone” system Sucks. It is dangerous, and super hot when you return to your room.

Pros: Large rooms, easy parking
Cons: Starbucks inside has closed, room smelled like smoke, rooms were dark and outdated
8,0 Excellent
Cons: Not enough FACE towels
5,1 Okay
Pros: Family friendly and close proximity to major attractions in SanMarcus
Cons: The mattress and sheets were soiled, it made me cringe to sleep on the Sofa bed, because of the stains that it had . Also as I looked around the hotel most upholstered furniture had stains on them. And the breakfast buffet , plus some of the items on the menus at the restaurant were cry salty, and very clearly not healthy. In these day and age of all the talk about healthy choices, overall San Marcus has not caught up yet. Just because a hote is cheap does not mean , it had to be filthy and unhealthy. Overall could not wait to leave the hotel.

Pros: Good location.
Cons: Erroneously booked stay in October. When I arrived at the property in September, I learned that my booking was incorrect. The hotel was fully booked so I could not stay. I asked about cancelling the October booking and was told I had to speak with the manager who had already left for the day. I called two days later and left a voice mail. No response. I called again; no response. To date, I haven't received a response.

Pros: The appearance of the front reception area was nice.
Cons: The rooms were smaller than typical Hampton Inn and Suites. The lighting was dull. The shower/bathroom was small. The hotel was old, with a patch of makeup to cover up the flaws. The breakfast area was cramped and huge roaches were crawling around guest. Outside the hotel had ants crawling up the sidewalk and the side of the building. The price of the rooms were not valued at the conditions of the living standard.

The lady at the front desk even opened up their meeting room when there were no tables left. The food was really good and hot plus lots of choices. I would stay there again. The bed was comfortable.
Cons: The halls smelled a bit. We stayed on the third floor and other than that everything was great.

Pros: The housekeeping staff are very nice and helpful.
Cons: The jets in the hot tub didnt work and it, the pool and the pool area were dirty. No one from the hotel seemed bothered by the water roaches(live and dead) scattered throughout the INDOOR pool area. Also, their queen size beds were DOUBLES not queens which I paid extra for. I would NEVER book this hotel again and do NOT recommend it to anyone at this price. We spent 4 days and would have left after one if it was not non-refundable!!

Pros: Clean and friendly staff.
Cons: No workout room.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The room was very clean, quiet, and comfortable. The mattresses are a little too firm for me but the pillows are fluffy and soft. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. There was a full hot and fresh breakfast. Its right by i35 so it's easy access to get anywhere. The price was fair and cheaper then some of the economy hotels. We would definitely stay here again!
2,0 Mediocre
Cons: Even though the price is affordable DO NOT stay here. The bed was honestly the most uncomfortable mattress we have ever slept on! The front desk staff always seemed clueless and were not very helpful. Overall they just seemed like it was too much trouble to be there. And the worst part.... WE STAYED THERE 3 DAYS AND THEY CHARGED US FOR OVER 6 DAYS!!!!!! We of course called the the office as soon as we saw the extra charges... Everytime we called the manager was not in. When we did get a hold of the manager he "did not see the extra charge on his end" when I offered to bring in a bank statement showing the extra charges he immediately got defensive and told me that want necessary. We had to call our bank and report a fraudulent charge just to get this all hhandled.DO NOT STAY HERE! We recomend the motel 6 right down the road. It is in a fantastic location and although the outside doesn't look like much the inside of the rooms are actually pretty nice and was only a little bit more than this hotel.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The bed was very comfortable and pillows were awesome! The microwave and refrigerator were clean and worked well. Ice maker made great ice. Room was nicely decorated and I enjoyed the lamps with the outlets in them........ingenious! Bathroom and towels clean and easy access to everything I needed. Air conditioner worked well.....always the curtains do not close enough because of the location of air conditioner blowing them. Pool looked awesome but did not swim. Breakfast was good. Free newspaper was awesome. Lots of helpful info in the lobby for eating and driving to tourist areas. Price was affordable and a welcome change from some places. I liked the music stations on the tv.
Cons: Toilet paper dispenser is too low in this unit......it was a handicapped accessible unit and it would have caused a great deal of trouble had I really been in a wheelchair. #125 by pool in back south side of property. Chair is too low backed for most people by the door and table for computer too high for the chair that was there. Also Wifi did not work........had to use my phone as a router to access the internet without issues.

Pros: Good complimentary breakfast
Cons: Smell of tobacco smoke in 2nd floor hallway
5,4 Okay
Cons: Had a non-smoking room but entered and you can smell smoke. I was at the end of the non-smoking section of rooms and the remainder of the rooms down the hall were smoking. Hotel was over booked so they gave me aerosol cans, a portable room filter, and the next day moved me to another room down the hall. Pre-paid for the room three months in advance. Called hotels.com, three different agents apologized and said they can only offer a voucher. Adios Worst Western.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Good, clean rooms
Cons: Not quite as nice as other Best Western's we've stayed at, but still good. Tediously small parking lot though... NOT good for trailers or big trucks. View out our room was right into several folks' not-too-clean backyards so don't expect to have your blinds open

Cons: No fitness center CRICKETS EVERYWHERE!!
9,7 Excellent
Pros: the staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and the breakfast bar is small but sufficient. Nice lounge and eating area. Great location, close to expressway, small towns but also close to Austin and San Antonio.
Cons: The pool was not operable. We stayed there during spring break 2015 and it was being worked on and again in December.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Second time staying here over four years. It's a solid hotel. Attentive and friendly staff. Clean rooms. Good location in central Texas.
4,5 Okay
Pros: I liked the location being right off I 35. The staff was very friendly.
Cons: The halls smelled of horrible cigarette smoke. I felt for the 121 dollars I spent for the room I did not get the bang for my buck. I expected it to be allot nicer. For that money there should be a bar and a nicer breakfast with more selection. I do not frequent hotels so I'm sorry for not being able to give more detail. Overall I feel that it could have been nicer for the amount of charged.

Pros: Liked the tv, and bed; but most of all I liked how the front desk guy accommodated me with a spranged ankle by changing my room to the first floor so I didn’t have to climb the stairs.
Cons: Nothing really .

Cons: The bedroom part of the room was ok. The bathroom however was horrendous. Dirty door, rusted and peeling curtain rod and towel holder, stained/scratched tub, blistered/peeling coating on tub drain covers with scotch tape. The kind of person at the front desk was unexpected. There was a drinking, loud group of sketchy people on the parking lot by the stairs. Pros: Convenient to where we were visiting each day.
Cons: They didn't have enough towels at check in and we waited until the afternoon of our second day. They only had two very small pillows for each bed.

Pros: The Shower was strong and the room was cold.
Cons: The clerk was rude, the room smelled, there was hairs on sink and baby roaches coming out of the fridge and microwave. The bed didn't even have a sheet on it just a thin blanket under two other thicker blankets. The "free" breakfast was stale cereal and small nasty muffins. The shower actually didn't drain right either shower turned into a bath tub.

Cons: We had to wait for 20 minutes for them to clean our room and when we got up there the room was dirty, bathroom was dirty, and it looked like someone smeared poop or some dark food on the wall by our bed. The mattresses were not comfortable at all.
6,5 Good
Pros: Close to Texas State. Friendly staff
Cons: the room is clean but the bathroom tub needs to be replaced. the beds are poor and the sheets need to also be replaced.
7,4 Good
Pros: The value of the place was very good. I was traveling as a single mom with a small child and this place was well within my budget. The facility was clean upon arrival and seemed like a safe place to stay. The room itself seemed like it was newly renovated and was in excellent condition. The pool was also in good condition and the water seemed to be clean. The staff of the place was also very friendly.
Cons: Upon arrival I felt that it was an ok place to stay but was definitely not upper class. There wasn't a good place to park my car since my room was on the back side of the building and the parking lot was quite a distance from my room. There are also no elevators and the cleaning staff seemed to always be blocking the walkways since the walkways are on the smaller side to begin with. Although my room was clean, there were tiny bits of black fuzz all over my sheets on the bed and the air conditioner unit needed a bit of cleaning as well because there was dust all inside of the front vent.
4,2 Okay
Pros: The location was great
Cons: The grounds were very dirty. My room was dirty and it seemed as it was "cleaned" in a hurry. The floor was sticky and the sink was never cleaned. The "guests" were roaming about the grounds being quite loud at all hours and some seemed to be permanent residents as several were cooking in their rooms (yes, their doors were wide open so I could see in). One of the"roamers" was surely a drug addict as some strange exchange took place in plain sight. And another asked me for some spare change. Never again will I use this motel. I expected 1-1/2 star quality but this one should be minus 4 stars.
9,4 Excellent
Pros: Friendly check-in, fast and courteous. The room design was nice, so much so most of my friends were wondering what Motel 6 I was at. Bed was comfortable. Room was clean.
Cons: There was need of cosmetic repair in the room. I imagine these rooms get trashed by college kids, or something. There was a hole busted through the shelving for the t.v. which was unattractive, and some of the paneling on the shelf by the table was peeling off.
5,4 Okay
Pros: The price wasn’t too bad so that’s a plus
Cons: Their tv channels appeared grainy and the tv wouldn’t stay on longer than 20 min.

Pros: The facility was clean and beds were comfortable.
Cons: It had a musty smell probably due to it being an older establishment.
2,0 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing at all.
Cons: Hotel was booked on accident. Employees were extremely rude and would not let me talk to them and wouldn't give my money back and I never checked in. She cursed at my girlfriend and I. The guy was friendlier but the lady locked the door and locked him out so that we wouldn't talk to him and she said that she won't let him make any decisions on giving my money back. I never checked in after they wouldn't give me my money as the room was extremely dirty and when we walked by there was the housekeeping daughter's laying on the bed. The lady at the front desk would not let me talk to her and turned on the tv full blast so that she wouldn't have to hear me ask for a refund. Would never recommend to anyone. Especially at the 130 price that my card was charged-which was booked on accident. Filed a claim with my bank.

Pros: Price!
Cons: Hard to get to had to go about 2miles further north on hiway to turnaround, beds were ok. But showers could be better
3,7 Mediocre
Pros: Good location, right off the interstate, staff was polite and friendly
Cons: Room shabby, shower was either burning hot or ice cold, blanket was torn, and there were roaches. Overall, the place sucked, would never stay there again.
2,8 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing
Cons: The staff member that greeted me spent the whole conversation spitting dip into a bottle. The room was outdated and dingy. The coverlets had cigarette burns and stains. The carpet was crunchy in spots. The bed was extremely hard. It wasn't a pleasant stay.

Cons: worn out mattress, sheets with holes, broken lampshades, running toilet.
3,4 Mediocre
Cons: The hot water frequently ran out after only a minute or two. We each only had one skinny pillow. Two light bulbs were missing. There was no coffee pot in the room. Breakfast was advertised, but turned out to be coffee and danishes only. Our door was difficult to close correctly. I don't ask for much in a hotel room - a comfy place to sleep, coffee and a hot shower in the morning. They did not deliver and I will never stay at an Econo Lodge again.
