The location is perfect to spend time visiting Old San Juan, El Morro and other well known sites. It’s right across the street from the cruise pier. Authentic island food is available in almost every street you enter. And Walgreens is right at your doorstep.
Pricing seems to fluctuate with arriving cruise ships; making it quite expensive for a nights stay. Paid $290 for a regular room queen bed. No breakfast included. Parking is a separate fee and around the corner. Not on site.
Staff was friendly beds were comfortable and location was good
For the price point the hotel is pretty outdated and could definitely use some upgrades

The Sheraton’s San Juan branch is located in the heart of historic and romantic old San Juan, directly on the waterfront. A myriad of restaurants, art galleries, museums, and upscale stores welcome visitors, inviting them to linger in the city.
The rooms range from a smaller guest room with no view to an expansive executive suite with views of both the city and the ocean. Babysitting services and free Wi-Fi appeal to families while all travelers enjoy three differing breakfast options. The Sheraton Fitness room and indoor pool provide excellent accommodations for staying consistent with workout routines; however, the rooftop pool steals the show- a favorite among guests. The hotel’s Palio Restaurant serves local delicacies and Puerto Rican Fusion dishes. Meanwhile, the AROMA Wine & Coffee Lounge offers adults a place to relax. The local area offers free trolley services. Within a half mile lay many local attractions including Fortress El Morro, Galeria Botello, and El Capitolio making the hotel pedestrian-friendly. For those wanting to venture further out, the Zen Spa, Mimar area, and Condado beaches are within a two-mile radius of the hotel.
The combination of quality hospitality and location make the Sheraton one of the premier hotels in the historic old San Juan area.
