The hotel was probably nice one or two decades ago. Now it is a bit run down, which explains why the rates are reasonable. If you just need a very simple place to sleep it is ok.

Pros (+) The staff was super friendly. The hotel was very clean. The room was a little small but perfect for us. 2 adults, 2kids. We just needed a place to sleep as we were out and about all evening and left early in the morning. I highly reccomend this hotel. About a 15 minute walk to the warf.

Cons (-) Hotel staff was nice, friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the rooms are noisy because they face the street. Decent hotel but needs updating. Good central location and within 10 minute walk to fisherman's wharf. I consider this a budget hotel. Avoid room 318: Very noisy and small.

Pros (+) The place is in a convenient spot, near to almost everything in SF downtown area. The staff was nice and helpful
Cons (-) The bed and carpet were damp and had weird smell. Theres a guy sleeping on the stairs, which iscreepy. The price was a little expensive but we had no other choice due to last minute decision
