Pros: The hosts were terrific; very high standards for cleanliness, comfort and the entire B&B experience. The amenities (drinks and snacks) were very reasonably priced, although we received a free basket of snacks on arrival as well. The pool was clean and a pleasure, the pool area was lovely with great wifi and very pleasant. The beach is across the street and of exceptional quality. The bus to La Libertad stops in front of the property and is $0.30 per ride (super reasonable). A plus; there are three of the sweetest and smartest dogs you'll ever meet on the property. The whole stay experience was awesome!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast is home made and really good. The owners are very nice and helpful with places to see & how to use the local public transportation. The B&B is a few miles outside town. It’s only 30 cents on the bus to get into town and there’s tons of taxis
Cons: The internet can be a little spotty at times. On the Ecuadorian coast internet is spotty EVERYWHERE. There WiFi was by far the best while on the coast.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The hosts were very friendly and attentive (with two adorable dogs), the breakfast was very good including scrambled eggs, toast/pancakes and fruits. Got a helpful recommendation to visit the reserve of Dos Mangas, where we went after checking out and had a wonderful time. Our room had a nice view of the sea, and overall the stay was very peaceful and relaxing.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: we liked everything! very friendly hosts, helped us with everything including waiting for our really late arrival, carrying heavy bags and preparing good breakfast. Coffee, tea, snacks are availabile for free 24 hours very very nice decorated room in which you can feel yourself really like at home, comfortable beds very peaceful atmosphere, no crowds of tourists nice friendly dogs good hot shower, wifi, safe parking inside the territory
Cons: between hotel and ocean there is a road, so can be a bit noisy from cars, but if you are putting aircon and don't open the window it/s not a problem at all
10,0 Excellent
Pros: It's a gem. Great people, great dogs, great location.

8,3 Excellent
Pros: Overall, a very nice place. The food buffet was pretty decent. Yes, if you want to eat at a restaurant you must make a reservation in person by waking up early that morning, but I'm sure that is to ensure commitment so as to prevent people from not showing up since spaces are limited. Both restaurants had very good dishes, but the Italian restaurant had some surprisingly VERY good dishes. Speaking Spanish is a HUGE plus. Management should work hard to include more fluent English-speaking staff. Thankfully, we traveled with a friend who spoke Spanish. So, here are my 6 suggestions to take the resort to the next level: 1) The cups for drinks are tiny and are made of the thinest, flimsiest plastic. The cups collapse a bit in your hand just by picking it up. Should be a little larger and more sturdy. (There IS sturdier disposable plastic!) 2) Some pillows were a bit too hard or too flat. Need consistent pillow sizes and fluffier. 3) The resort would greatly benefit from transitioning to a card entry system (keys that sometimes get stuck in your door are a pain). 4) Replace the large, very old weight-lifting machine in the fitness room with a rack of dumbells and several mats. NO ONE used that old, weird machine and it just takes up space. I work out every day, and it was just an eyesore. I tried to use it, but couldn't really figure it out. Get rid of it. 5) When people reserve rooms online, have a "quiet section" for those who need quiet by 9:00 pm. The nightly entertainment is TOO loud for those who aren't into it and are on vacation to relax. To accommodate both the party-people and the quiet people, have a "quiet block" area away from the entertainment. 6) Poolside servers would be great also. Otherwise a very nice resort.
Cons: Drink cups are too flimsy. Pillows should be fluffier. Card entry system would be better than keys. Old weight-lifting machine in the gym needs to be replaced with a rack of dumbells and some mats. Nightly entertainment goes a bit late for those looking for quiet by 9 pm. No poolside service. Having poolside service would bring the resort to the next level!

Pros: In general all ok
Cons: Nothing, all very good
7,5 Good
Pros: love the fact that is all inclusive a plus. The food was excelent.
Cons: Bathrooms need remodeling the shower had half of a curtain, which was a pain no matter how you will position the shower curtain, the floor will get wet & leave puddles of water. Dangerous, cause if you are not careful you can trip & fall. My room there were red stains in the frame of the bathroom. The hallways looked like they had semi patched & didn't do touch up paint. Overall for the amount of money they charged they should be able to upgrade the suites. Is a great location, but the hotel rooms need attention.

8,8 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful villa style accommodation with 6-7 rooms. About one metre from the beach. The sound of the waves was always evident. Staff and owners very helpful, and offered information on things to do. Outdoor pool and jacuzzi were available, but as the weather was overcast the water was cool. The owners filled the indoor jacuzzi with hot water for me one evening and provided relaxing music. Breakfast varied slightly each day.
Cons: No real complaints, however it would have been good to have had coffee in the room, not just fruit tea. Currently there is quite a lot of building work going on around the area. No restaurants nearby, so you have to dine in Salinas or La Libertad.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was beautiful! It looks even better than the pictures online! The hotel staff is very friendly and bilingual. They have three dogs, a cat, and a variety of birds that make the environment very lively. You are also right next to the ocean and you have a beautiful view. The hotel room was very comfortable and spacious. There aren't many hotel rooms either, so it's never crowded there. I will definitely stay there next time I go back.
Cons: A breakfast menu would have been nice. They essentially just serve you a multi course breakfast (which is pretty good). The red wine my girlfriend got didn't taste good. Also the roads to get there are horrible and it is a 15 minute drive from the main part of Salinas
8,8 Excellent

Cons: The roads immediately near the property were bumpy and not paved. Also, there weren't any places nearby to eat, but there was some close enough to stop at while driving to the beaches or to the boardwalk.
9,6 Excellent
