10,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is in great location to walk into the center of Saint Remy. There are nice garden surroundings about the rooms each with it's own entrance from outside. The service was great. Pierre gave great restaurant recommendation.
Cons: Parking is available but tight.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: This is a really lovely, well-priced hotel that is conveniently located in St. Remy. We found the hosts to be extremely accommodating and gracious, and the property to be quiet, well-maintained, and overall charming. The breakfast was amazing. Free parking on-site. For the price you can't do better.
Cons: Our room – admittedly the least expensive one offered at the property – lacked a proper closet and was on the small side; and while the breakfast was delicious, there was an additional charge of 15 Euro per person per day, so be sure to add that into your calculations on price.
10,0 Excellent

Pros: Very welcoming and nicely maintained property. Very much a bed and breakfast feel and nicely redone room. For example- a nice shower and many of our friends at other properties didn’t have that. Ample parking and nice walk into St Remy.
Cons: Nothing in the context above.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Nice adult only pool.
Cons: The dinner service took 2:45 minutes. A long walk to town on a hot day.

Pros: Very charming and comfortable. Helpful staff and walking distance to village
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The location is fabulous, a few minutes walk into the town centre and a great base for the region. The facilities are excellent and the host and staff were friendly and efficient. The evening dinners are exceptional and highly recommend making a reservation whether you are staying at the hotel or in the area
10,0 Excellent
Pros: My wife booked this hotel as a "splurge" while stopping in St. Remy and didn't realize dinner was included in the package she booked. Great dinner in a quiet courtyard so walkable to St. Remy. The staff was super friendly as well, accommodating my wife's dairy allergy during dinner as best they could.
Cons: We had to change rooms in between our two due to a late booking. Not a big deal and really outside the control of the hotel. Also, the hotel let us know as soon as we had booked.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful gardens with amazing sculptures, lovely rooms with all mod cons, beautiful food and delightful staff. Magical at night.
Cons: Freezing cold water in the swimming pool.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We liked the dinner on site and the pools were very nice.
8,3 Excellent
Cons: I stayed in the top room of the new building and bumped my head badly on the low wooden roof beam! I would ask for a ground floor room next time

Pros: Very nice hotel run by Chantal who was an exceptional host. Very friendly and helpful. We will definitely come back again when we are in the area!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Quiet, friendly location. Bed was comfortable. Room was pleasantly decorative but welcoming. Fabulous breakfast. Would loved to stay longer to enjoy patio and pool.
Cons: Nothing
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The setting and design of the hotel and property was really pretty. The room had access to a table and chairs outside. The pool was great, as was the patio where breakfast was served. The room itself was very spacious, as was the bathroom. It all seemed very clean and almost newly refurbished, but still retained charm. Parking was free and extremely convenient to the room. Breakfast was good.
Cons: The hotel is a walk from town, very easy to negotiate although not on a particularly pleasant road, and sidewalk was narrow. However it is doable, with many restaurants and shops within walking distance.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: All excellent, friendly and very comfortable. Modern contemporary rooms . Great location and only a few minutes to centre of St Remy.
Cons: Only gripe was lack of mini fridge in the room which was needed in the really high temperatures of 40c .
10,0 Excellent
Pros: very cute place, good breakfast, very charming host and lovely town. Hotel was very close to the centre of town.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Great decor and layout. Nice gardens round the pool and patio. The owner was charming and very helpful. Even the Lobby toilets immaculate!

Pros: Old world country french charm. Huge rooms, comfy beds, lovely casual garden area, outdoor wisteria covered terrace with cafe tables and chairs. Charming host, lovely breakfast, everything is tastefully and graciously prepared and presented. Great place if you have a car - short walk to town, but a busy road for a short stretch. Lovely in every way!
7,1 Good
Pros: The breakfast on the patio was lovely and delicious as well, the air conditioning was much appreciated!
Cons: The furnishings were dated but sort of added to the charm after we settled in

10,0 Excellent

Cons: Nothing
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Simply beautiful house. We had the beautiful room with the garden view. Quiet, peaceful. Lovely hosts and delicious breakfast.
Cons: I loved everything!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent. The hostess Madeline was so sweet and offered us a beautiful breakfast every morning on our time schedule. Great croissants and great coffee. The room was very quiet, very clean, and very spacious and very nicely decorated. The property was beautiful...just as shown in the photos.
Cons: It was excellent, no complaints or suggestions at all.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The history and character of the surroundings, artworks and breakfast table settings and implements. This was faded glory with lots of charm and taste and discernement of this house was everywhere. The host may not know how to deal with the Internet, but the attention to detail and the original quality, beauty and age of the property, gardens and interiors were superb. The first host in France who knew how to brew a cup of tea in a tea pot. Fresh strawberries and yoghurt and bread and home-made jams. The coffee pots and other table ware were old family silver! The dining room had marvellous art works and authentic furnishings and artifacts. The bedroom and huge en-suite we equally as well appointed of a bourgeois old family. Comfort was not sacrificed. The bathroom was well heated as the cold mistral was blowing. The host told me that her husband was in hospital with a broken hip. She was a remarkable woman to deal with us alone and satisfy our needs fully.
Cons: Some problems accessing the WiFi. No shared kitchen as advertised. Shower in bath not with a shower enclosure.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful house and property, close to St Remy. Nice restaurants a short drive away, there are a couple of restaurants in walking distance too. Breakfast was delicious, and included pastries, jams and fruits. The hosts were lovely, and even though we couldn't speak French, we still managed to communicate. Thanks for a lovely stay.

8,8 Excellent
Pros: Beautifully restored Maison with charming rooms. The gravel courtyard is a wonderful oasis, such a relaxing spot for breakfast each morning and aperitif in the evenings. St Rémy is a gorgeous town and location is very central.
Cons: A little tricky to get to, there are often closures in the town for festivities and the markets. Parking is a fair distance away but don’t think this can be helped as parking is very limited in the town and the hotel is located on a pedestrian street.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Stunning old home, beautifully decorated and in a great location. St Remy is a gem
Cons: Issues with air conditioning in 35 degree days made sleeping uncomfortable, but everything else was just perfect!
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location. Beautiful interior. Very good beds.
Cons: Only one person to handle the visitors, and the door was closed when we arrived. We used that chat at the web-side, but had no answers.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: A charming and elegant hotel with impeccable hospitality. Our hostess, Christine, treated us like Royalty every chance we saw her. She was warm and friendly and made you feel welcomed. Every morning we were served the most delicious breakfast. It exceeded all of our expectations! Parking was extremely difficult to find in St Remy, but that was no problem for us! Christine provided us with private parking that was only a 5 minute walk from the hotel. This place was the perfect location in St. Remy on a quiet, quaint street near restaurants and charming shops. It truly made our vacation feel like paradise, and we will definitely come back. Do not hesitate to book!”
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything
7,5 Good
Pros: The location of this hotel is walking distance to restaurants in one of the many pretty streets of saint Rémy de Provence. It is quiet! Bed is comfortable and shower worked. Breakfast is served in a communal room and includes fresh orange juice, choice of yogurt, croissant, fruit salad,...
Cons: Parking is located 10 min walk away - make sure to drop your suitcase first, you’ll then get guidance to a private car park where you will be given a specific location to park. Make note of check-in time as the lady welcoming guests isn’t there in the evening. Proactively asked for information, or simply go to the tourist information center to find out what is going on... WiFi didn’t really worked in our room, and the TV command had a life of its own (not that you would want to watch TV while in holiday!) The property is lovely and nicely decorated, but you can see chair pillows pilled up next to you while having breakfast, or pile of cleaned sheets in the reception with therefore no-where for you to sit... those items could be stored out of guests sightings.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: wonderful service and staff. Parking is an issue.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were beautiful. The aesthetics of the maison were gorgeous. The outside courtyard was very peaceful.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: I love St Remy and had spied this hotel on a previous visit. So glad I booked it! It was a wonderful place to stay, it almost feels like you are the owner of an amazing old property, an owner with exception taste I would add! The room we had (Rose) was gorgeous, all french linens, monogramed cushions and lovely light furnishings. Christine our lovely host was great, we managed to get by with my dreadful French and her better than my French English! Lovely lady. Breakfast was fabulous, relaxed and fresh. Parking is near, so drive to the front of the property to unload then you will be given a map to find the parking a few minutes away. All very straightforward. The mistake we made was to arrive on market day (Wednesday) and the town was heaving with no parking to be had. So try to avoid arriving before 2 on a Wednesday!
Cons: It was all fabulous!

With a stay at Gounod Hotel, you'll be centrally located in St.-Remy-de-Provence, a 1-minute drive from Alpilles and 10 minutes from Chateau des Baux. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful grounds, nice pool area. Loved the seating area outside each room. Garden courtyard was lovely. Excellent location. Had to pay extra for parking in their lot, but was worth it as parking in St Remy is very difficult!
Cons: Pool was chilly
5,4 Okay
Pros: Centrally located in St Rémy - lots of lovely restaurants within walking distant. Nice pool in courtyard garden
Cons: Overpriced for quality of hotel Breakfast is optional extra at 15Euro per day per person and average quality - machine coffee; the same plate of apples put out on the table every day; and considering we were in France I’d have thought we could have counted on the pastries but they were often a little stale. Beware - customer parking is a hidden cost at 12Euro per day and hidden in fine print, they didn’t tell us when we arrived. Security was a concern - they didn’t take a scan of our passport or credit cards like hotels normally do. And we left our key behind the desk on the first evening...when we returned it was unmanned so we rang the bell...the man that appeared said if no one was there in future to go behind the desk and help ourselves...needless to say we didn’t leave our key there again! Biggest problem was the damp - we had a ground floor room over looking the garden. It smelt musty and felt damp. Our clothes in the wardrobe at the end of a five day stay smelt funny. Wouldn’t recommend the hotel.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location in the center of St Remy - yet with a garden and a pool to relax.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The location and the staff.
Cons: Nothing!
7,5 Good
Pros: The location is wonderful. The garden and beautiful pool area are great and well maintained. The beds and bedlinen are very comfortable.
Cons: The first room we had (Faust, first floor main hotel building) was extremely noisy and not very clean. Everything was a bit sticky and old inside the hallways and room. There are cow hides on the floor (which we find very unhygienic). The doors have automatic closers and in such an old building you hear every bang very loud! Ask for a room at the garden. The hotel is over-fragranced and too full with kitsch.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: This was a very nice hotel in the center, close to everything!
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Hotel right down town. Lovely swimming pool and setting in a nice courtyard
Cons: Bed a bit too hard for our liking. We would have liked a more interesting breakfast
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is in the downtown area and convenient to all. It has a very unique and fun decor. The reception area was well organized, we were warmly greeted, our room was ready...no complaints.
Cons: Ah...our room was on the very top level (hard to describe but probably 4 flights up). The stairs were steep and bringing luggage up there was a problem. If anybody has any issues at all with steps I would recommend that that was made clear when making a reservation.

Pros: Location was great as it was an easy walk to shops, tourist office and local attractions like Glanum and the asylum where Van Gogh stayed. The rooms were comfortable and spotless and the staff were friendly and helpful. Being able to cool off in the pool at the end of the day was fantastic.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was delicious and the staff was very helpful and kind. The hotel was immaculate. Free parking on site.
Cons: The view from our room was not very nice. I would have liked to have been able to choose a room with a view or a terrace. It was a bit of a walk to get to town and restaurants.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Very nice place and great location.
Cons: Take into acount that some of the rooms are at high floors without an elevator.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Good room with air conditioning. Superb location a few hundred meters from the centre of St Remy. Good shower and toiletries. Breakfast is (for French standards) ok for 12€. Nice views of “les alpilles” from some rooms.
Cons: Didn’t try the spa as it is quite high priced. “Replenishment” at breakfast is quite slow and the atmosphere in the breakfast area rather noisy and uncomfortable.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Bed extra comfy
Cons: WiFi almost unuseable
7,5 Good
Pros: comfort bed
Cons: no windows in the room
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Very clean. Nice breakfast. Friendly staff.
Cons: Finding parking could be a challenge when hotel is full.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing location. Very clean. Beautiful garden and swimming pool
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Villa is definitely amazing, and all the reviews I’ve read about it were completely true. Quality of each detail whether it’s a bathroom facilities or the mattresses or the view or furniture (in the room , near the pool, and on the villa ) is quite perfect, Cosy and tiny rooms, everything is really stylish and very pleasant to touch. Provence views right from the pool area, silence, olive trees, nice surroundings, landscape- all that makes you feel really complete rest and pleasant sensation. We had an amazing rest, definitely recommend!
Cons: Everything was perfect
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was very good; pool was excellent; cleanliness throughout was extraordinary. Location was excellent, between the monastery and Glanum.
7,5 Good
Pros: Location. Breakfast.
Cons: The rooms needed information about facilities and area. Not one printed word of info available to guests. Menus in every room and in the public rooms advertising the bar and the bar menu and drinks. The bar was not open at all. The decor was not Provence at all. It was cool and corporate not friendly and warm like the area. I would not recommend to friends.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Great location - relaxing stay in comfortable accommodation
Cons: It was all fine
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful, tranquil setting on gorgeous grounds right outside of lovely historic town. Great base for all the little towns in Provence we wanted to visit. Pool an added bonus, very clean room, like new. Friendly, helpful staff and a wonderful breakfast!
Cons: Nothing, every thing perfect!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The location of the hotel is a short walking from several unique attractions, the most interesting of which is the hospital where Van Gogh stayed for one year. The setting of the hotel is beautiful, nicely blended in the olive trees and lavender fields. There is an abundance of space within the hotel, for walking around and for parking. The people are nice, the room very clean, overall a very lovely place. We enjoyed ever much and would definitely stay there for future visits.
6,7 Good
Pros: Property was lovely, everything clean, and room size was small but the terrace made it feel bigger. Pool area was also great.
Cons: Breakfast- there was very little food left at the buffet when we went just after 9am (breakfast was 8-10am). Disappointing for the €24 we paid for 2 people!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: hotel well positioned close to the town with a large parking area and extensive garden with a big swimming pool. Room very modern and functional. Workmanship is to a very high standard.
Cons: nothing.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Within walking distance of St. Rémy on the Van Gough trail and close driving distance to Les Baux, a good value for the price. Very quiet location (our room faced the gorgeous Alpilles), courteous but novice staff, and what appears to be a recent remodel to the main part of the hotel. Plus its just a few hundred feet from the famous Glanum ruins. We'd definitely return.
Cons: Due to a change in management, two of the three staff who helped us were brand new. The spa was not yet "approved" for use (to our dismay -- it looked amazing) and the bar, also new, was not operating in the afternoons or evening. So we arrived at a time when the hotel is settling into its new phase. The future looks bright, however!

Pros: The hotel is a super nice spot with a beautiful garden and a swimming pool in it. It is an old mansion and the hosts are super kind. The rooms are very comfy and clean.
Cons: The room was super good, maybe the bathroom needed a bit of renovation
10,0 Excellent
Pros: A great breakfast.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The location is excellent as are the hotels grounds and pool. The operators are very helpful and friendly.
Cons: The internet connection drops out and while not critical, it's frustrating
10,0 Excellent
Pros: It’s a sweet spot just a few blocks from lovely restaurants. The owners are delightful. It just felt like a little sanctuary, especially for the price!
7,1 Good
Pros: The breakfast was very good. Madame goes out of her way to try to please the guests. They provide mini croissants and other pastries as well as bread, cheeses, meats, fruit and homemade spreads. The rooms are quiet, although the hotel is close to a busy street, the owners have put in double-pane windows, which keeps noise to a minimum. The rooms are are very dark due to the shutters, which allows one to sleep in.
Cons: Unfortunately, the owners have a strict policy of not eating on the property unless you either buy the food from them or buy a drink from them to eat with your food. There are signs in the rooms that show no drinking or eating in the rooms (coffee and tea are not provided in the rooms either), and when we tried to eat a late lunch in the garden, the owners refused to give us cushions to sit on for the outdoor furniture and told us we couldn't eat our food unless we bought drinks. So we took our sandwiches to Glanum, the ancient roman site, where there are many picnic tables and ate our lunch there. I've travelled all over the world and stayed in 100s of hotels and never experienced this kind of treatment anywhere, no matter how expensive or how cheap the hotel. This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel and it will be my last because of this rule regarding food and drinks and the degradation of the quality of the hotel. Some other items that were problematic: the toilet in our room leaked (we only discovered that it was the toilet and not the shower on our last morning as we actually didn't take a shower that morning). There was no leaver for the plug in the bathroom sink, so if you filled it with water, there was no way to drain it. There were cobwebs in the ceiling of the room and it was very cold. The heating appears not to have been turned on yet. One other thing to note is that you have to sign into the wifi every time you turn on your devices. It's very annoying if you have multiple devices - and even if you don't turn them off, your login information expires within 3 hours. This might seem like a lot unless you have to do some work...Also, Monsieur is about as surly as one can get - he could barely bring himself to acknowledge our presence, let alone smile or say hello. It's quite bizarre. In essence, I felt as though the owners are penny-pinching and monetising everything about the stay.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful gardens and pool area. Friendly, helpful staff
7,9 Good
Pros: Great location and with parking
Cons: Bedroom was basic and small, although it was spotlessly clean

5,0 Okay
Pros: The hostellerie is very well located a few steps away from central St. Remy. Easy access into the very nice garden with good parking space. Staff kind and helpfull.
Cons: Room section and rooms not particular wellcoming. Although good and tasty breakfest, the coffee served was not of usual French standard.
6,6 Good
Pros: Comfortable hotel in quiet location but close to town centre. The proprietor was very welcoming and extremely helpful.
Cons:
7,4 Good
Pros: The two owners were extremely helpful. We had a pretty nasty problem with Europecar in Avignon and they really helped us solve the problem. They offered their help and spoke in French for us. They were also very good at advising great things to do at St. Remy de Provence.
Cons:
6,0 Good
Pros: The owner speaks good English and very helpful
Cons:
6,0 Good
Pros: The pool was a lovely addition to the stay. We enjoyed breakfast on the terrace and being able to walk into the lovely old town for buzzy evening entertainment.
Cons:
7,2 Good
Pros: Pleasant atmosphere. The fact that dinner was not provided was in fact a plus in view of the alternatives in the town. The owner/manager worked at making teh guests welcome.
Cons: Facility to have tea in the bedroom (i.e self help) would have been appreciated.

Cons: No laundry facilities. We stayed 6 nights (on a 5 week trip) and it would have been excellent to have laundry facilities available... even a "money in the slot" washing machine. Coming from NZ, we are used to laundry facilities in all apartment/motel accommodation.

Pros: Peter - who ran the place was unobtrusive but totally professional and added greatly to the laid- back but committed atmospheres. Thoroughly recommended.
Cons: Some distance on an unattractive route from the town centre

Overview Reviews
This hotel is located 300 meters from the centre of Saint-Rémy-de-Provence. This beautiful Provençal village remained very attached to a rich past and traditions. Le Castelet des Alpilles is an ancient large impressive house from the beginning of the XIXth century. It became a hotel in 1952 and has been managed by the same family for 3 generations. You can relax on deck chairs in the vast garden by the shade of a hundred- year-old cedar tree.

Pros: Very friendly staff, great service. Location is perfect, just a short stroll into town. Comfy and clean rooms. Perfect place to stay with your dog as it is so relaxed and friendly towards pets. Lovely swimming pool. Will return again!
Cons: The WiFi wasn’t working for our entire stay, I need WiFi to keep up to date with work so for me this was quite annoying as I had to use a lot of my mobile data and they do advertise as having free WiFi. Hopefully this will be sorted next time we stay.
7,9 Good
Pros: Perfect position of the hotel to visit all the attractions
Cons: In the future I would ask for a ground floor room

Pros: Lovely owners of Hotel and friendly staff. Excellent and adequate breakfast. Swimming pool was available. Air conditioning worked well. Well located close to centre of town. and museums/tourist office. Excellent and adequate car parking available of street.
Cons: Initially we got room No.5 This was adequate but too small for a couple. A larger room became available and we paid for upgrade for the final 3 nights. This was absolutely perfect. Would happily stay there again.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: A lovely small European hotel that was an easy walk to the center of St Remy. The staff was helpful, but some had a bit of trouble understanding English. The European breakfast, which was about $11 was very nice & filling. The facility was inviting, clean, pretty gardens & nice pool. did not spend much time on the property as we were exploring the countryside by car. Our only complaint was the internet was offline most of the time. We would stay again as it’s a good value.

Pros: It was really a pleasure being guest of Philip in Le Mas des Figues. Philip is not only a host, but also a sculpture and a farmer. He gave us all reco we needed for the stay, his written guides for visiting the nearest territories is very well balanced and detailed. Fantastic breakfast is served at your choice. Croissants are really delicious. Relly recommended to stay at this place in case you spend some time for travelling in Provence.
Cons: for getting to the place by car it is better to use GPS coordinates, not name of the hotel.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful farmhouse, cozy room, generous and fresh breakfast. A great choice close to Saint-Remy.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Peaceful, beautiful The best breakfast-all was very tasty, organic and traditional
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Birdsong in the morning, the gardens, Philippe's insightful advice as to what to do and eat around the area. Wish we had more time to lounge.
Cons: You have to read the fine print. Check-in has to occur between 4pm and 6pm and since the property doesn't serve dinner, travellers are left in the unenviable position of having to cater to the proprietor's time. This means that after check in, if you haven't brought your dinner with you, you'd have to drive out again to search for it. This is especially tough when, after a hard day of driving, you'd just want to settle in and relax. In addition, given that it's farmhouse, I would have expected breakfast to be included in the price of the stay. It costs 17 euros more.

Pros: Absolutely fantastic host! Beautiful house and garden. Very cool to start day at the swimming pool.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Philippe is a fantastic host and his property is truly unique. He is a renaissance man, able to make olive oil, create massive sculptures, run marathons, cycle in the mountains, and prepare unique breakfasts. Cute farmhouse in a good location.

Pros: Breakfast was superb. Not to clear about water heating but it was okay for our needs. Parking was really useful and location was ideal for investigating the town. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Bathroom was clean and well-equipped.
Cons: A little noisy locally one night but generally all good. Aircon was a bit difficult to get right but it was lovely and cool when we arrived.
7,1 Good
Pros: Nice for us with 3 dogs. Very welcoming
Cons: The price was quite high - perhaps because it was a festival week end
7,5 Good
Pros: This hotel used to be a "Grand" hotel after its renovation circa 2000. That was almost 20 years ago and it seems that management has let it go downhill since. The staff is very conscientious but perhaps misdirected. Although the hotel needs a serious facelift, better upkeep and we had to change rooms, we enjoyed our stay as the gardens are beautiful and there is a homey feeling to the place.

Pros: Returning to St.-Remy-de-Provence, we returned to the Hotel de l'Image and left wanting to return again. Read on for details. Located the circular road around the city center, the Hotel de L'image is a few feet from the city center old town and the numerous shops and eateries. By car, it is a short drive to the Glanum and hospital that housed van Gogh. The staff at the desk were friendly and helpful. We were upgraded to a suite; it was massive, upgraded (considering the limitations imposed by the dated building) and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was extensive and the most memorable of the 8 Provence hotel buffets I've experienced. Be sure to try the lavender and regional honey on the fresh baguette. When we return to Provence, we will return to the Hotel de L'Image.
Cons: A coffee maker would have been nice.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Great location, beautiful outdoor area and wonderful entertainment in the evenings.
Cons: The bed could’ve been better and the pillows, bed linen.
6,3 Good
Pros: Location was great
Cons: Got downgraded upon arrival to a smaller room and no hot water for the entire stay even though it was mentioned to the staff

Pros: Bar very good and restaurant service excellent

Pros: I loved this place. I had my own little cottage with one of the best showers I have ever had. I was able to self-cater for most days, but did the breakfast they offer one morning, which was simple, but delicious, including homemade yogurt and pain perdu/French toast. There is a bakery less than 5 minutes walk and then the center of Saint-Rémy is another 5 minutes away. The free parking was convenient and they even let me use a bicycle one day. The location is great, with easy access to hiking and surrounding towns. I'll be back. Thanks to Myriam and Louis!

Pros: The hotel is set in an attractive garden. The breakfast was excellent and the staff were helpful and friendly. It was a short walk either into town or out on a pleasant footpath to the Saint-Paul monastery and the ancient ruins of Glanum.

Pros: Nice rooms, very proper. Terrace to use, very rich breakfast outside possible. Nice staff
9,6 Excellent
Pros: It was a beautiful property and close enough to town to walk to, yet set in a peaceful setting.
Cons: Bathroom (WC) was older and needed fixing.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Within walking distance of St Remy, this is a convenient yet tucked away hotel, without a restaurant but providing a good level of comfort on a budget. We particularly liked the garden, buying our own lunch in the market and eating at the tables under the trees - and the small pool was a bonus. Breakfast could also be taken outside on fine days and there was plenty of choice, including lots of cakes and pastries. The bed was particularly comfortable.
Cons: As no hot drinks were available after breakfast it would have been nice to have a kettle etc. provided in the room.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: We liked the garden, the staff and the facilities of the rooms.A Little bit too far from the center of the city
Cons: A Little bit moore to choose at the breakfast (different cheese. i ex)
7,9 Good
Pros: Quiet location
Cons: A little far to walk to town
7,5 Good
Pros: Lovely garden and pool facilities. Friendly staff. Location was quite a way out of the town centre but had easy parking and the hotel itself was peaceful and quiet.
Cons: Room felt very dated, but this was one of the cheaper hotels in the area and was pretty much as described on the website. Breakfast itself wasn't great, but was a nice experience eating it outside in the garden.

Pros: Convenient location to get into town and beautiful grounds.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The setting and the 18th century building and lobby were well done. The room was very clean and well decorated. The breakfast was just fine.
Cons: I have to say do not leave your window open. We were bitten by mosquitoes unbelievably. I had about 12 bites and my wife at least 6. The AC was not on and we needed a little coolness so we opened both windows. Big mistake! They have a swimming pool and fountain that must attract them. The location to St Rémy is too far and seems isolated. The bug bites put a damper on the visit plus no elevator makes it difficult with a lot of bags.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel was so stunning! The Rooms were spacious and decorated to perfection! The courtyard, the swimming pool, the lush trees! Literally one could just stay on the premises and have the perfect vacation. It felt so secluded and exclusive. What took our experience to next level was the staff! From the owner, reception, house keeping, and cooks each and everyone of them made our stay and our anniversary so special. The receptionist, the loviest young lady, made everyday memorable with little surprises and was there when we needed anything! She and the rest of the staff made it very hard to leave! We cannot wait to visit St. Rémy again!
Cons: Everything was perfect!!

6,7 Good
Pros: Staff were lovely.
Cons: It was advertised and having a pool and a spa/wellness center. The pool was a pond with fish in it - the spa was a massage table that you could book an overpriced massage somewhere on the property.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The location is absolutely amazing. It is surrounded by a large park which makes the property to fall in love with. It is very close to st remy, so very convenient access to the city.
Cons: The restaurant was closed when we stayed there. I believe it is closed on sundays and mondays. This is a pity. It would have been wonderful to be able to dine at the chateau as well.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Very beautiful old styled Chateau. Amazing location for breakfast. Very calm at the territory.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Gorgeous property. Many places to sit around outdoors and enjoy the quiet. We felt like we were the only people there.
Cons: Don't try to find this place in the dark! Food choices in the restaurant were very limited. You have to have a car.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The location was ideal. The Chateau was incredible.
Cons: The drive from the airport!
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Very elegant historic place. Room (mini suite) was huge and the bathroom was very big with options of bath or shower. The sorrounding gardens were lovely. The place is a few minutes drive from Saint Remy and it was nice to stay in this lovely Chateau.
Cons: Dinner was very bad. I order the meat and it was not chewable and was changed to the fish portion, which didn't have any tast. My husband got stomec sick right after finishing his meal and had a very bad night. He told the guy while checking out but got no respond.... This ruined our experience in this place. A minibar/fridge and coffee/tea facility in the room would've been nice in such expensive place.
