Pros: Very welcoming and nicely maintained property. Very much a bed and breakfast feel and nicely redone room. For example- a nice shower and many of our friends at other properties didn’t have that. Ample parking and nice walk into St Remy.
Cons: Nothing in the context above.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Nice adult only pool.
Cons: The dinner service took 2:45 minutes. A long walk to town on a hot day.

Pros: Very charming and comfortable. Helpful staff and walking distance to village
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The location is fabulous, a few minutes walk into the town centre and a great base for the region. The facilities are excellent and the host and staff were friendly and efficient. The evening dinners are exceptional and highly recommend making a reservation whether you are staying at the hotel or in the area
10,0 Excellent
Pros: My wife booked this hotel as a "splurge" while stopping in St. Remy and didn't realize dinner was included in the package she booked. Great dinner in a quiet courtyard so walkable to St. Remy. The staff was super friendly as well, accommodating my wife's dairy allergy during dinner as best they could.
Cons: We had to change rooms in between our two due to a late booking. Not a big deal and really outside the control of the hotel. Also, the hotel let us know as soon as we had booked.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful gardens with amazing sculptures, lovely rooms with all mod cons, beautiful food and delightful staff. Magical at night.
Cons: Freezing cold water in the swimming pool.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We liked the dinner on site and the pools were very nice.

Cons: I stayed in the top room of the new building and bumped my head badly on the low wooden roof beam! I would ask for a ground floor room next time

Pros: The location and staff
Cons: Rooms were a bit rustic and small
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is in great location to walk into the center of Saint Remy. There are nice garden surroundings about the rooms each with it's own entrance from outside. The service was great. Pierre gave great restaurant recommendation.
Cons: Parking is available but tight.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: This is a really lovely, well-priced hotel that is conveniently located in St. Remy. We found the hosts to be extremely accommodating and gracious, and the property to be quiet, well-maintained, and overall charming. The breakfast was amazing. Free parking on-site. For the price you can't do better.
Cons: Our room – admittedly the least expensive one offered at the property – lacked a proper closet and was on the small side; and while the breakfast was delicious, there was an additional charge of 15 Euro per person per day, so be sure to add that into your calculations on price.
9,0 Excellent

10,0 Excellent
Pros: The property was incredible. True French charm with the interiors very tres chic. Could have stayed longer to enjoy the exquisite gardens, coffee table books and general ambience. The breakfast was delicious and the location was ideal. The only downside was the parking but we appreciate typical to stay so central. Everything about this stay was breath taking. We will come again.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Beautifully restored Maison with charming rooms. The gravel courtyard is a wonderful oasis, such a relaxing spot for breakfast each morning and aperitif in the evenings. St Rémy is a gorgeous town and location is very central.
Cons: A little tricky to get to, there are often closures in the town for festivities and the markets. Parking is a fair distance away but don’t think this can be helped as parking is very limited in the town and the hotel is located on a pedestrian street.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Stunning old home, beautifully decorated and in a great location. St Remy is a gem
Cons: Issues with air conditioning in 35 degree days made sleeping uncomfortable, but everything else was just perfect!
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location. Beautiful interior. Very good beds.
Cons: Only one person to handle the visitors, and the door was closed when we arrived. We used that chat at the web-side, but had no answers.
7,5 Good
Pros: The location of this hotel is walking distance to restaurants in one of the many pretty streets of saint Rémy de Provence. It is quiet! Bed is comfortable and shower worked. Breakfast is served in a communal room and includes fresh orange juice, choice of yogurt, croissant, fruit salad,...
Cons: Parking is located 10 min walk away - make sure to drop your suitcase first, you’ll then get guidance to a private car park where you will be given a specific location to park. Make note of check-in time as the lady welcoming guests isn’t there in the evening. Proactively asked for information, or simply go to the tourist information center to find out what is going on... WiFi didn’t really worked in our room, and the TV command had a life of its own (not that you would want to watch TV while in holiday!) The property is lovely and nicely decorated, but you can see chair pillows pilled up next to you while having breakfast, or pile of cleaned sheets in the reception with therefore no-where for you to sit... those items could be stored out of guests sightings.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: St Remy is one of my favourite French villages. There is something magical about the colours, light and wildlife there as well as its riveting history from Nostradamus, de Sade, Van Gogh to its trendy, innovative restaurants and exhibitions. Though I've visited many times, this was my favourite stay due to having chosen La Maison du Village. This hotel/b&b epitomises French elegance, comfort and style. The silvery stone building is discreetly set in the heart of St Remy perfect for seeing everything or just sitting in the garden and listening to the birds sing in the olive and cypress trees. As soon as we walked in, we were spellbound by the calm of the hotel, the fragrances (it sells Diptyque candles and products so the scent everywhere is divine!), the easy lighting and kind, professional team who work there. Our suites were heavenly - we were inspired by the taste and attention to detail which went into designing every aspect of them. There was lots of space, light, all the amenities you could want and a touching generosity in everything that was provided. This is a really special place to stay, so much so, my teenage kids who normally wouldn't a appreciate a quiet, charming B&B, preferring pools, and lifts and more rambunctious facilities, loved La Maison du Village and were bowled over by the decor.
Cons: Having to leave :( If you have a car, you do have to park it about a 5-10-minute walk away from the hotel through narrow streets, this might be an issue for some people...?
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Fabulously renovated traditional house right the heart of St. Remy. We used this as a base camp to explore the area for several days and couldn't ask for a better location and experience. The suites are spacious and very well-appointed, the beds were super comfortable (not always the case in Provence!!), service was perfect: we felt like like St. Remy royalty for a couple of days. Highly recommended!
Cons: Parking was excellent, but about a 5-min walk from the house which is to be expected give the location in the very heart of St. Remy.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were beautiful. The aesthetics of the maison were gorgeous. The outside courtyard was very peaceful.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: I love St Remy and had spied this hotel on a previous visit. So glad I booked it! It was a wonderful place to stay, it almost feels like you are the owner of an amazing old property, an owner with exception taste I would add! The room we had (Rose) was gorgeous, all french linens, monogramed cushions and lovely light furnishings. Christine our lovely host was great, we managed to get by with my dreadful French and her better than my French English! Lovely lady. Breakfast was fabulous, relaxed and fresh. Parking is near, so drive to the front of the property to unload then you will be given a map to find the parking a few minutes away. All very straightforward. The mistake we made was to arrive on market day (Wednesday) and the town was heaving with no parking to be had. So try to avoid arriving before 2 on a Wednesday!
Cons: It was all fabulous!

Pros: Quiet, friendly location. Bed was comfortable. Room was pleasantly decorative but welcoming. Fabulous breakfast. Would loved to stay longer to enjoy patio and pool.
Cons: Nothing
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The setting and design of the hotel and property was really pretty. The room had access to a table and chairs outside. The pool was great, as was the patio where breakfast was served. The room itself was very spacious, as was the bathroom. It all seemed very clean and almost newly refurbished, but still retained charm. Parking was free and extremely convenient to the room. Breakfast was good.
Cons: The hotel is a walk from town, very easy to negotiate although not on a particularly pleasant road, and sidewalk was narrow. However it is doable, with many restaurants and shops within walking distance.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: All excellent, friendly and very comfortable. Modern contemporary rooms . Great location and only a few minutes to centre of St Remy.
Cons: Only gripe was lack of mini fridge in the room which was needed in the really high temperatures of 40c .
10,0 Excellent
Pros: very cute place, good breakfast, very charming host and lovely town. Hotel was very close to the centre of town.

Pros: So beautiful! Loved the building and the property. Was nice to be close to the city, and also have a place to just relax. Staff was extremely nice and helpful. We also ate at the restaurant - highly recommend! It was one of the best meals of our trip in terms of quality and value.
Cons: The modern decor. It feels out of place.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Such a beautiful chateau, perfect dinner under the plane trees, lunch by the pool. So peaceful after 5 weeks in France.
Cons: Our room was lovely but tired, the bathroom needs attention, mould is unacceptable at this price.
10,0 Excellent
Cons: Nothing at all, although I did get lost a little getting there and back from Les Baux. There was a disruption and need to detour as I approached from Nice. Navigation systems do not know everything.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: For our trip this was a one night - perfect on the route. But having the experience we will come back just for a long weekend. The Château Des Alpilles is unique in it self, well maintained and area around the Château beautiful. The welcome, staff and service perfect. The evening dinner exceptional in food and wine - dream place. We send best regards and hope to be back soon - not to mention walking distance to Saint-Rémy-de-Provence - very charming village. We loved it, Ariane & Michael
Cons: We had a rain shower when walking to town - did a pit stop until sky cleared and it was then a bit dark to walk back - but this was not a minus.... just had to write something :-)

9,0 Excellent
Pros: hotel staff is very supportive
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful grounds, nice pool area. Loved the seating area outside each room. Garden courtyard was lovely. Excellent location. Had to pay extra for parking in their lot, but was worth it as parking in St Remy is very difficult!
Cons: Pool was chilly
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is beautifully decorated and has cute quirky touches, staff were super friendly and very helpful. The location was great too, easy walking to all cafes, restaurants, and shopping. Also to the Van Gogh walk.
Cons: Nothing to dislike; could maybe have a couple more pillow choices, and if I were to be really picky the shower head could be more centred and not so close to the wall and tap handles.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The location and the staff.
Cons: Nothing!
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel atmosphere, the location and the nice room.
Cons: Parking is not so close to the hotel and is at extra cost.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Hotel right down town. Lovely swimming pool and setting in a nice courtyard
Cons: Bed a bit too hard for our liking. We would have liked a more interesting breakfast
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is in the downtown area and convenient to all. It has a very unique and fun decor. The reception area was well organized, we were warmly greeted, our room was ready...no complaints.
Cons: Ah...our room was on the very top level (hard to describe but probably 4 flights up). The stairs were steep and bringing luggage up there was a problem. If anybody has any issues at all with steps I would recommend that that was made clear when making a reservation.

Cons: The room was perfectly ok but had no real decoration or personality to it. Just a bit functional really.
4,2 Okay
Pros: Nothing at that price to recommend, bed much too small
Cons: The staff, they were exceedingly unhelpful and didn't like our questions re general info
9,0 Excellent
Pros: This is a small hotel, the rooms were quiet, the breakfast was excellent and we were very happy.
Cons: There is no elevator (if you come with luggage it can be a problem), and the room was a bit small, I would call it "compact"

Pros: The super location allowed us to walk into town, shop and have dinner. There are so many historical sites to discover within minutes. The pool was wonderful even in October, the room was private, comfortable with a beautifully tiled bathroom. It is such an unusual property.

9,6 Excellent
Pros: Villa is definitely amazing, and all the reviews I’ve read about it were completely true. Quality of each detail whether it’s a bathroom facilities or the mattresses or the view or furniture (in the room , near the pool, and on the villa ) is quite perfect, Cosy and tiny rooms, everything is really stylish and very pleasant to touch. Provence views right from the pool area, silence, olive trees, nice surroundings, landscape- all that makes you feel really complete rest and pleasant sensation. We had an amazing rest, definitely recommend!
Cons: Everything was perfect
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was very good; pool was excellent; cleanliness throughout was extraordinary. Location was excellent, between the monastery and Glanum.
7,5 Good
Pros: Location. Breakfast.
Cons: The rooms needed information about facilities and area. Not one printed word of info available to guests. Menus in every room and in the public rooms advertising the bar and the bar menu and drinks. The bar was not open at all. The decor was not Provence at all. It was cool and corporate not friendly and warm like the area. I would not recommend to friends.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Great location - relaxing stay in comfortable accommodation
Cons: It was all fine
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful, tranquil setting on gorgeous grounds right outside of lovely historic town. Great base for all the little towns in Provence we wanted to visit. Pool an added bonus, very clean room, like new. Friendly, helpful staff and a wonderful breakfast!
Cons: Nothing, every thing perfect!
9,2 Excellent
Pros: we liked everything about facility except there was no elevator but the staff were very good about help.
Cons: no elevator, no bar at night
6,7 Good
Pros: Property was lovely, everything clean, and room size was small but the terrace made it feel bigger. Pool area was also great.
Cons: Breakfast- there was very little food left at the buffet when we went just after 9am (breakfast was 8-10am). Disappointing for the €24 we paid for 2 people!
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Within walking distance of St. Rémy on the Van Gough trail and close driving distance to Les Baux, a good value for the price. Very quiet location (our room faced the gorgeous Alpilles), courteous but novice staff, and what appears to be a recent remodel to the main part of the hotel. Plus its just a few hundred feet from the famous Glanum ruins. We'd definitely return.
Cons: Due to a change in management, two of the three staff who helped us were brand new. The spa was not yet "approved" for use (to our dismay -- it looked amazing) and the bar, also new, was not operating in the afternoons or evening. So we arrived at a time when the hotel is settling into its new phase. The future looks bright, however!

Pros: The hotel is a super nice spot with a beautiful garden and a swimming pool in it. It is an old mansion and the hosts are super kind. The rooms are very comfy and clean.
Cons: The room was super good, maybe the bathroom needed a bit of renovation
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The location is excellent as are the hotels grounds and pool. The operators are very helpful and friendly.
Cons: The internet connection drops out and while not critical, it's frustrating
10,0 Excellent
Pros: It’s a sweet spot just a few blocks from lovely restaurants. The owners are delightful. It just felt like a little sanctuary, especially for the price!
7,1 Good
Pros: The breakfast was very good. Madame goes out of her way to try to please the guests. They provide mini croissants and other pastries as well as bread, cheeses, meats, fruit and homemade spreads. The rooms are quiet, although the hotel is close to a busy street, the owners have put in double-pane windows, which keeps noise to a minimum. The rooms are are very dark due to the shutters, which allows one to sleep in.
Cons: Unfortunately, the owners have a strict policy of not eating on the property unless you either buy the food from them or buy a drink from them to eat with your food. There are signs in the rooms that show no drinking or eating in the rooms (coffee and tea are not provided in the rooms either), and when we tried to eat a late lunch in the garden, the owners refused to give us cushions to sit on for the outdoor furniture and told us we couldn't eat our food unless we bought drinks. So we took our sandwiches to Glanum, the ancient roman site, where there are many picnic tables and ate our lunch there. I've travelled all over the world and stayed in 100s of hotels and never experienced this kind of treatment anywhere, no matter how expensive or how cheap the hotel. This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel and it will be my last because of this rule regarding food and drinks and the degradation of the quality of the hotel. Some other items that were problematic: the toilet in our room leaked (we only discovered that it was the toilet and not the shower on our last morning as we actually didn't take a shower that morning). There was no leaver for the plug in the bathroom sink, so if you filled it with water, there was no way to drain it. There were cobwebs in the ceiling of the room and it was very cold. The heating appears not to have been turned on yet. One other thing to note is that you have to sign into the wifi every time you turn on your devices. It's very annoying if you have multiple devices - and even if you don't turn them off, your login information expires within 3 hours. This might seem like a lot unless you have to do some work...Also, Monsieur is about as surly as one can get - he could barely bring himself to acknowledge our presence, let alone smile or say hello. It's quite bizarre. In essence, I felt as though the owners are penny-pinching and monetising everything about the stay.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful gardens and pool area. Friendly, helpful staff
7,9 Good
Pros: Great location and with parking
Cons: Bedroom was basic and small, although it was spotlessly clean

This hotel is located 300 meters from the centre of Saint-Rémy-de-Provence. This beautiful Provençal village remained very attached to a rich past and traditions. Le Castelet des Alpilles is an ancient large impressive house from the beginning of the XIXth century. It became a hotel in 1952 and has been managed by the same family for 3 generations. You can relax on deck chairs in the vast garden by the shade of a hundred- year-old cedar tree.

Pros: Very friendly staff, great service. Location is perfect, just a short stroll into town. Comfy and clean rooms. Perfect place to stay with your dog as it is so relaxed and friendly towards pets. Lovely swimming pool. Will return again!
Cons: The WiFi wasn’t working for our entire stay, I need WiFi to keep up to date with work so for me this was quite annoying as I had to use a lot of my mobile data and they do advertise as having free WiFi. Hopefully this will be sorted next time we stay.

Pros: Overall very good
Cons: Some basic stuff like Kettle in the room was missing.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: A lovely small European hotel that was an easy walk to the center of St Remy. The staff was helpful, but some had a bit of trouble understanding English. The European breakfast, which was about $11 was very nice & filling. The facility was inviting, clean, pretty gardens & nice pool. did not spend much time on the property as we were exploring the countryside by car. Our only complaint was the internet was offline most of the time. We would stay again as it’s a good value.

Pros: Beautiful chateau and grounds, very close to San Remy. Very helpful staff. Would be perfect for a honeymoon or romantic vacation. We stayed here 20 years ago, and it didn't disappoint, as beautiful as my memory recorded.
Cons: They could improve on the breakfast for the price.
6,7 Good
Pros: Staff were lovely.
Cons: It was advertised and having a pool and a spa/wellness center. The pool was a pond with fish in it - the spa was a massage table that you could book an overpriced massage somewhere on the property.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The location is absolutely amazing. It is surrounded by a large park which makes the property to fall in love with. It is very close to st remy, so very convenient access to the city.
Cons: The restaurant was closed when we stayed there. I believe it is closed on sundays and mondays. This is a pity. It would have been wonderful to be able to dine at the chateau as well.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Very beautiful old styled Chateau. Amazing location for breakfast. Very calm at the territory.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Gorgeous property. Many places to sit around outdoors and enjoy the quiet. We felt like we were the only people there.
Cons: Don't try to find this place in the dark! Food choices in the restaurant were very limited. You have to have a car.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The location was ideal. The Chateau was incredible.
Cons: The drive from the airport!

Pros: Convenient location to get into town and beautiful grounds.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The setting and the 18th century building and lobby were well done. The room was very clean and well decorated. The breakfast was just fine.
Cons: I have to say do not leave your window open. We were bitten by mosquitoes unbelievably. I had about 12 bites and my wife at least 6. The AC was not on and we needed a little coolness so we opened both windows. Big mistake! They have a swimming pool and fountain that must attract them. The location to St Rémy is too far and seems isolated. The bug bites put a damper on the visit plus no elevator makes it difficult with a lot of bags.

Pros: Breakfast was excellent, room was very comfortable and the spa really good. Also a very good gym for those interested. Stuff was very friendly, food at the restaurant was pretty good albeit a bit overpriced
Cons: Service at restaurant and bar was slow (stuff was friendly and polite, however we had to wait for long time to be served). Prices at the restaurant are equivalent to 1 michelin star but unfortunately the whole package its not there thus making it a bit overpriced (which is a shame because otherwise it is a pretty good place to have dinner)

Pros: nice garden and very nice staff totally recommended
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was truly wonderful with a wide range on offer. Coffee particularly good and tempting pastries. I loved the pool which I swam in daily and it's location within walking distance of both the pretty town and Van Gogh museum at the hospital. Also romantic city of Glanum. Would love to return and explore the excellent walking paths in the provencal countryside.
Cons: Not the hotels fault but seems there are no taxis in St Remy. Really needed one to catch my bus on checkout as I had luggage and arthritis. Staggered there.
