10,0 Excellent
Pros: The location was excellent, the small touches to the functionally minimalist and very clean room made it even more inviting than it already is, the self-service coffee and tea in the breakfast area, etc. - these were all small extras that make one feel cozy and comfortable. What I do want to emphasize is what I appreciated the most, and that was the relaxed and friendly, yet very professional attention of the front desk/reception staff and the genuine, informative and warm welcome that made me feel like I was coming to a place where I had been before and knew everyone. In reality it was my first stay, I enjoyed it very much and would gladly come back and recommend the hotel to others.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was amazing.Very helpfull staff from reception to the kitchen.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The location. For those who doesn’t want to sit in place this hotel is just perfect. 200-250 meters from train station and you’re on your way to Monaco (4.7 € for one adult and one child, ~10€ with the return), Cannes or even Sanremo (Italy). Be aware, the stops aren’t called in the train, so you have to read them when the train actually stops. :) 800 meters from Massena Place, but if you don’t want to take your time for a walk, then you may take a tram (nr. 1) and go for to stops. The tram stop is on the opposite side of the hotel street. Single ticket - 1.5€ Btw, travelling from airport don’t take taxi, it will cost you 40€. It’s better to take tram and go to Jean Medecin stop. Then walk towards the hotel (500 m) The staff is really friendly and very helpful. The room was cleaned everyday.
Cons: The breakfast. It’s really ok, but pretty all the same everyday. If you’re planing to stay for 2-3 days that’s ok, but if you are fot the week and more, then I don’t know. The Jean Medecin street is the main one and it’s a little more noisy than regular one. I don’t know if the have windows to the other side, but if yes- then ask for the room there.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The location (you’re in the middle of town centre street, and the station Nice Ville is 5mins walk away). The staff’s hospitality & he was very helpful when I have to ask for directions as well! The room was a very good size considering the price point. The facilities were amazing.
Cons: Only drawback that I could think of is the walls are a bit thin. Not that it got too bad that I can’t sleep, but I can definitely hear the noise outside in the hallway and from the room next to me. But overall, still such a good place to stay at!!
7,9 Good
Pros: Great location
Cons: No electic kettle in the room. Instead it is located in the general area on the first floor.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Free drinks like coffee and bottles of mineral water, professional and helpful staffs and good location. Quiet decent breakfast is only 10 euro.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The Room, the location, the breakfast and the staff.
Cons: The toilet seat is a little too small, maybe my butt is a little too big 8-)
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Closeness to Rail and Centre of City
Cons:
2,0 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing.
Cons: I have visited 27 countries, I saw a lot of different hotels. But this hotel is the worst hotel that I have ever seen! I was afraid to take a shower, because it was ssooo dirty! it is not 30star hotel. I will not even give 1 star to it! The lamp in the toilet was blinking like at the discoteque and the staff did nothing to help us. Staff was not aatentive, not smily, they just didn't care about anything. The door of the toilet didn't close. Wallpapers were 3 cm from the walls. It is a peppergrass for 100 euro per night!!!
2,8 Mediocre
Pros: only location
Cons: my air conditioner is not work, but i got only 10 euro back . It too expensive for the room without air conditioner
2,0 Mediocre
Pros: Please write at least 15 words
Cons: Dirty tired.uncomfortable beds. Miles from the beach.Inedible breakfast disgusting outlook.
4,8 Okay
Pros: Friendly staff
Cons: It was located in an area that I would not consider safe; it would be better further south but were not made aware. Because of safety, a car park would have helped for coming back late.

Cons: ... that I didn’t book more than one night!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The location was superb and the bar/café was lovely. The waiters were very attentive and friendly.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful little hotel in picture postcard harbour location.
Cons: Breakfast not included in rate
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Superb location Beautiful view of the bay from my room Very charming and attentive staff The room was perfect
Cons: Nothing
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff are exceptionally nice and helpful, and went above and beyond to be helpful from the very moment I arrived. I was given a free upgrade to a lovely room and the views from the room was incredibly stunning. Everything was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The area is also great with plenty of local restaurants and shops. I wish we would have stayed longer!
Cons: The AC in the room was not working properly despite being on the right setting and the room was just not cool. For the price, I would expect this to be a non-issue. I checked in during the late afternoon and only stayed one night, so perhaps mechanical services could have solved the issue but it was fairly hot and kept me up. Additionally, only worth noting because this is a very expensive hotel, their is only one type of pillow available that is fairly firm and the bathroom does not come with any of the toiletries you would typically expect such as conditioner or body lotion (I had to request these). This may be for conservation which makes sense, but it wasn't clear to me what was available upon request and it would have been nice to have some basics already in the room again for the high price.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The staff were amazing. Treated us like family. The reception, the bar staff, every one. Thanks to Valentin and Julian and everyone. The room service food was great. The view is outstanding and room is super comfortable.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: I loved it all have a house in cap ferrat and thought so much easier to come to your hotel rather than opening up the house

6,0 Good
Pros: Historic building, beautiful lobby
Cons: Rooms definitely need refurbishment
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The bar is divine and live music great. The Rotonde restaurant was lovely: food excellent, service attentive and friendly.
Cons: Our original room, upon our return to it after dinner, was reeking with smoke from unfiltered cigarettes. Unbearable. The hotel is allegedly 100% non smoking even on balconies. Clearly this is not adequately policed as occupants of an adjacent room to ours had clearly lit and smoked many during the evening. Smoke detectors would be a good idea?!? We were moved / upgraded to a different room, but it was a hassle late at night to have to pack and move and should not have occurred in the first place.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful hotel offering a unique experience in a themed room with stunning views.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing decor amazing place excellent staff and great food
Cons: Nothing
7,9 Good
Cons: There was construction right next to the room they allocated us
6,0 Good
Pros: The ambiance was nice- classic old style .The rooms were big and the view spectacular. Unfortunately the bath tub drain cover was not working so it required a nail file to remove the cover to drain the tub. This was repeated every day of our stay without the staff fixing it! The room was not cleaned on returning in the afternoon and we were told by reception that we had to call for cleaning !The wall tiles had black mould which Is really unacceptable in a hotel of this class.also, our room had chipped paint around doors and peeling wallpaper trim. All in all,This hotel needs revamping. On the plus side, the location is the best in Nice.
Cons: The staff were very poor in responding to complaints - no apologies ever.My room smelled of mould ,to discover next day that there was a furnace type room opening into my closet, which did not have a door.On complaining ,I was given an excuse instead of an apology. Also, after staying 3 days,I was stopped by a security doorman on entering the lobby ,to question me if I was staying at the hotel. Very very upsetting and again ,after telling him yes ,no apology. Good staff should know the guests and be carful before causing an embarrassing moment. The service at breakfast was very poor and the buffet layout difficult to manage due to the tightness of the restaurant.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: High quality products, not just 5 star room but 5 star food also.
Cons: Having to leave
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Almost all was perfect
Cons: Bar closing ...at 12 night and in top hotel should be open 24h
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Location and history of hotel.
Cons: Room in need of a makeover
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful wonderful staff and location location location. The rooms were well appointed and in a style that suited the hotel. The balcony was a great place to get a lovely view of the sea. The rooms were larger then most European hotel rooms and air conditioned which made it very comfortable in the August heat. The public areas and dining rooms were very comfortable and charming. Good business center with easy access.
Cons: The carpet in the halls made it hard to move luggage around and did not fit the period and style of the hotel. Some of the art didn't suit the hotel ambiance. The carpet in our room was very worn and old. The bathroom had chipped sharp tiles and had not been updated which was a little disappointing for the price point. We were also disappointed that no one informed of the beach facilities available.

7,0 Good
Pros: Excellent location on the seafront, with a great view of the bay in front of city of Nice. Close to old part of Nice with a good collection of shops and restaurants. The hotel has a modern interior throughout, in a clearly older building. Modern bathroom. Good toiletries in the bathroom. Good sound insulation from main road when windows shut. We greatly appreciated the inclusion of a kettle with which to make tea.
Cons: The walls between rooms are very thin. Quite a lot of noise penetrates. The bathroom door would not shut! Lighting in the room is not great. There was a comfortable chair in the room, but no light above it, so we could not sit in it in the evening and read!

8,3 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful little gem with great personality! Decoration is perfect and enchanting.. the common area is so welcoming and pretty! Breakfast is super super nice with so much choice! Reception people are always so nice, smiley and helpful! Rooms are super clean and cute too. Unbeatable location!! 3min from Place Massena and 5min from Promenade des Anglais and the beach!
Cons: Rooms are a bit too small. I was there for one night only but I’m not sure how I could have opened a big suitcase in there... especially if you are two people.
6,3 Good
Pros: So so
Cons: The room is too small
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel is located within 5 min walk both from Place Massena and the sea shore. Very convenient. All big shopping centers are nearby. There are plenty of cafes and grocery shops there. Not far away from tram line 2 that connects the city center to airport. Breakfast was good. The room stayed very clean and well-equipped. Staff was very polite and helpful. It was a very pleasant stay in Nice.
Cons: -
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast. Room. Style. Employees.
Cons: The bed was too firm.
2,0 Mediocre
Cons: Hotel de Flore was closed on the dates we booked. Luckily some friends were booked in the same hotel and were told by their agent (unlike ours) who organised alternative accommodation. After a week of painful conversations with Getaroom (would have been useful to know they're based abroad) they acknowledged the hotel was closed and in fairness organised alternative accommodation in a nice hotel nearby at no extra charge. Would have been nice to have been told about closure rather than having to chase.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Character and charm of the accommodation and the friendly and helpful staff. Nothing was ever a problem for them.
Cons: Loved everything!
6,0 Good
Pros: Proximity to the boardwalk and fun of the active night life.
Cons: Cheap rooms, uncomfortable mattresses, subpar soundproofing so we could hear every conversation in other rooms and in the hallway, very mediocre breakfast, I mean it was very poor -- even easy to please kids didn't want it. The "happy" hour was lemon juice for kids or water. Lemon juice is not lemonade and terrible olives and terrible wine. Not up to snuff for the price paid. More like a 1 or 2 star hotel to me.
7,9 Good
Pros: Personal was friendly and caring.
7,7 Good
Pros: The best part of this hotel is Mwa the front desk manager. She was wonderful to work with.
Cons: I thought the rooms could use some minor upgrades: better bedspreads, pillows and sheets. Bathrooms need better soap, shampoo, etc. Cutting those corners costs a lot in experience.

6,7 Good
Pros: Hotel is cool with interesting art, tennis court and nice pool area. Everything is kept spotlessly clean. Small spa with steam room and a real sauna is also a bonus.
Cons: Hotel is beautiful on the outside but it leaves you cold inside. I felt it lacks some personal touch. Some staff even lack customer service attitude; for example, I was looking for a house keeper and run into a lady from the reception, and she just said to me ”I’m not a cleaning lady”. Nothing like ”What’s your room number, I’ll pass your message to the right person”. I got the impression that some of the staff behaved like they were working in an art exhibition rather than in a hotel. However, when I finally found the housekeeper, she was very nice and friendly. Also breakfast was pricey for what you get. You should also be aware that you need your own car because the access to bus transportation was difficult (reception could not even give us proper directions to a bus stop).
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff is very friendly and helpfull, restaurant food has improved immensely since our last visit and is value for money.Location is great for visiting St Paul or Vence .Nearby is a wood where you can walk your dog.

Pros: The Ozz is just 2 blocks from the train station in Nice. Great location for going to other villages along the Cote d'Azur. Highly recommend you to stay here.

7,1 Good
Pros: The coffee machine was very good. The bed was very comfortable. The staff were nice.
Cons: There was only one toilet for 5 people to share. When I get up I was no four in the queue. Each guest took 15 minutes to shower by which time I got fully clothed and came to the reception area. There was only one toilet there which was occupied for 10 minutes. By this time I came to conclusion that visitors urinating in side streets must be staying at this place. Such a shame.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Reception was very nice cheak in
9,0 Excellent
Pros: I really appreciated the cleanliness of the room and the private bathroom. The kitchen and lounge are quite nice as well: lots of space to relax. And lots of plugs to charge your phone/computer which is always a plus especially when you are travelling for work purposes ! Definitely appreciate the free coffee (or tea, hot chocolate) all day long ! Nice breakfast as well.
Cons: The only downside of the location is the lack of parking spaces in the area if you come here with your car or a rental. It took me a while to find a parking spot nearby.

Pros: Location with respect to the airport.
Cons: Faucet and drain plug didn't work properly in the bath tub. Drain plug didn't work properly in the bathroom sink. I made a reservation for adjoining rooms and prepaid for it. As one member of my party took ill I only required the use of one room. I was required to pay for both. No nearby restaurants.
7,0 Good
Pros: Very nice and capable staff, free shuttle to the airport.
Cons: No snack or diner facilities except a poor bright lighted pizza place in the back yard. Need to take taxi to go to nice center to find a proper meal. No walking distance from Nice airport. Renovations in progress, breakfast at novotel at 6.with was to late for our flight. I have been in better styles, this was more the budget location.
6,8 Good
Pros: The rooms were clean and relatively comfortable. Bedding was nice. Parking garage below could be purchased from desk at 15 euros/day. It was a very reasonable price compared to the regular garage parking.
Cons: The hotel was very difficult to find. Getting from the parking below to the hotel was complicated as there is no signage in the garage as to where you need to go to get to the hotel. The temperature in the room was very cold and could not be warmed up as they had switched to air conditioning mode only. Had to go to the hotel next door and ask for ice. The printer did not work to print boarding passes. Only a couple TV stations were in English and all but Disney was news.

Pros: The bath tub, the decorations, the location
Cons: Orange juice machine does not work, please fix it :)

Pros: Perfect location. Great staff. Wonderful breakfast. Great cost-benefit.
Cons: Wifi in the room didn't work well in any point.
10,0 Excellent
Cons: The sauna was out of order.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The room was spacious and warm. It was also lovely and quiet. The blind plus curtains meant it was also dark enough to sleep. So often in hotels, light sneaking in somewhere is an issue for me. The staff were great. So friendly but still professional. I would really recommend this hotel, especially at this time of year when there are some great mid week bargains to be had. I would definitely stay again.
Cons: I had a problem with the kettle. It worked intermittently so I mentioned it to reception. And that really is the only issue I had.

Pros: The hotel has a good location and has a modern style. The room was large with a small kitchen, very nice. We got a room on the 5th floor with nice view over nice.
Cons: There was construnction at the hotel which we weren't informed about before. It wasn't possible to stay in the room on the morning because of the noise. Also the bathroom wasn't completely cleaned from the previous guest (hairs in shower). At checkout the employee was on a phone call and tried to check us out with the ongoing phone. She just printed out the invoice and pointed with the finger on it and took the credit card.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, friendly staff and a nicely presented hotel at a great price!
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were helpful and supportive. Very respectful and professional from the checkin to checkout. They offered free breakfast as a compensation for our issue with the door.
Cons: The room we had was small (room 01), and the door had an issue with opening/closing. No view from the windos, our room was facing a car parking, and we couldn't open the curtains because people passing by can see us.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff, Breakfast and location. Everything was in walking distance, even the old city. Beach was hardly 4-5 min walk. Also one of the best burger place was just 1 min walk (O Burger Nice) which was open till midnight and was our main eating place for late night snacks. Staff was extremely helpful and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable.
Cons: The room we stayed in had water damaged floors. But they covered it well with a carpet. So not an issue. The rooms were big and very comfortable overall.
7,0 Good
Pros: The location is perfect, close to the train station and the promenade as well as old town. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room itself was ok.
Cons: We have chosen this hotel as we planned to go out for lunch but self cater for breakfast and dinner. Compared to other self-catering hotels we have stayed at, the kitchen area in The Jay is poorly equipped. There is fridge, microwave, coffee machine and electric kettle, but all of this is crammed into a very little space and there are hardly any utensils - we had just two mugs, one glass and two plates plus some cutlery. Would be nice to have two proper chairs to sit on. Cleaning was not very good, rubbish was occasionally not removed and coffee capsules not replaced, did not look like floors were vacuum cleaned either as lots of crumbs and dust under the bed remained throughout our stay. The lightning in the room was poor. Perhaps it is ok in the summer when the sun is strong, but in winter we struggled to read.

Pros: Location was excellent; lovely room with kitchenette
Cons: Breakfast room could have been bigger

10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. The location was amazing
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The staffs are supernice and the location can't be any better. it's close to promenade and everything but tuck away in a quiet side lane.
Cons: The lift stopped working. And had been broken for days.
7,0 Good
Pros: The hotel is very nice and in the city center. My room was clean and comfortable. I think I paid a fair price (70/night). The breakfast can be improved but overall it was good. Special mention to Irina and Davon (I hope I spelled his name correctly) who have been very nice and helpful.
Cons: The wifi didn't work well in my room (201). The employee who works in the breakfast room is not kind and had the great idea of washing the coffee machine at 7:30 in the morning, in the middle of the breakfast time. I could not pay with none of my credit cards (Mastercard and Visa, I tried them both) and had to reach an ATM for withdrawing money.
6,0 Good
Pros: Check in was friendly and efficient. The staff was helpful. When we complained about our very noisy first room (it felt like the neighbours were discussing and taking the shower right next to our bed), we were changed into a small, but nice and very quiet room. The location is good, you can walk to the beach in 10 minutes and have plenty of dining options around.
Cons: The first room we head was painfully noisy and poorly isolated. I imagine that during high season, it's not possible to easily change rooms and you're stuck with thin walls and potentially noisy neighbors. However, as mentioned above, we could change rooms immediately. It's a shame that with all the reviews here on noisy rooms, nothing seems to be done about it.
7,7 Good
Pros: Room was nice, plenty of space for our family of four, beds were comfortable. It's close to the train station and a very short walk to the beach/water, and the main street with shopping and restaurants. Couldn't have been a better location and the neighborhood was quiet.
Cons: Had an incident where the staff told us our breakfast came with the room, then they later charged us for breakfast. Staff member said he never told us that, even though he gave us a tour of the breakfast room. We paid, but were surprised that the hotel basically accused of lying. A 4 star hotel at that price has clients like us who can afford breakfast, so it was strange that they made us feel as if we were trying to skip out on our bill. Other than that, we had a nice stay and the staff was very accommodating.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location, very close to promenade des anglais, to shopping district, to gare, a lot of restaurants closed by. Very friendly and attentive reception team.
Cons: Unfortunately my skagen watch and a pair of earrings (not gold) disappeared during our stay. They were in a make up bag, placed on the night table. So if you stay in the hotel do not leave any valuables laying on the tables.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Superb Breakfast, location 5 stars

Pros: Rooftop and view
Cons: Noisy room due lift ac and pool - generator on 7th floor ? Staff changed but it was room without view and balcony so stayed.

Pros: The breakfast was from 06:30 to 11:00am meaning we didn't have to rush. The staff were very friendly
Cons: The room was large and modern not very French.
