Great location, good reputation. Front desk staff and lounge area very nice/helpful.
Knowing this is in a very sexy, happening area, the hotel gets plenty of use, so the tiny details are slightly overlooked. Poor av connection, room more basic than stylized, housekeeping and staff 'a bit' inconvenient or noisy, but overall, good for where the location is. Good experience, not fantastic. Also, wifi should be standard. In-room ethernet (cat5) hookup (iPad, iPhone - won't work), and had to go to lobby, where wifi had to be purchased. Should be amenity. Could connect to McDonalds, which isn't the way to go (or shouldn't be)

Was disgusted to find a bedside table full of condoms used and new plus the carrier bag in which they were bought, obviously the room had not been cleaned very well

A great location on the Promenade des Anglais and near to the old town, a good breakfast with stunning view over the Mediterranean though rather expensive, a few design elements, the private beach though expensive too
repairing one of the elevators took 3 days, a pity that they charge for internet access (a shame for this category of hotel),
