7,9 Good
Pros: The host was lovely and really nice to my children, location was great for getting to the town, decent breakfast
Cons: Room was very hot. My daughter kept hitting her head on the beams above the bed
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff and just a 2 min walk from St. Etienne main station.
7,9 Good
Pros: The bed was comfortable & the bathroom was modern and spacious. The room had a fan, which was essential because it was too noisy at night with people in the street to leave it open. The staff were very nice indeed, and I feel they really tried to make us feel comfortable. After hours access was great with a pin code to an alternative entrance that had great security lighting.
Cons: The breakfast was strange. We were served a rather sizeable basket of various pieces of different breads that were toasted, a croissant and a very heavily brewed pot of coffee. We were then offered a yoghurt and fruit purée. Breakfast wasn’t particularly enjoyable, but the dear lady who served us was so sweet and pleasant.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The manageress was very friendly and helpful.
Cons: Our room was at the very top of the hotel and there is no lift.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The lady who I guessed to be the owner was very nice. She even cooked me an English breakfast as she guessed that i am english
5,8 Okay
Pros: Room was ok and the staff very nice and welcoming.
Cons: The neighborhood was not great. Hotel site says parking, but we were directed to find a place anywhere on the street! As it was Monday it turns out almost all the restaurants around were closed. Had dinner at a so-so bar. Not the hotels fault, but once again the area.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Old hotel but well maintained No AC but that was not an issue for me. The room was very clean and the bed was large and comfortable. A very short walk to the Chateaucrux Train Station. Staff helpful and friendly but does not speak English
7,9 Good
Pros: Close to train station. Reasonable price. Services nearby.
Cons: Nothing.

They showed me a bill with my name and my room, I refused to pay, it was not mine, it was a mistake made by the hotel, or restaurant, or some guest, I don’t know. It’s unpleasent to be charged by something you haven’t spent. Citotel Furania - Saint-Étienne - Bedroom

7,8 Good (574 reviews)

9,2 Excellent
Pros: Quirky hotel with very nice staff
Cons: No air conditioning
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Excellent central location for exploring St Etienne on foot, and secure on-site parking meant no on-street parking worries. Friendly helpful staff, good breakfast selection. Large comfortable bedroom with tea/coffee makings, and bathroom with bath!
Cons: After a 550km drive in 45° heat air-conditioning (for once) would have been very welcome. Open windows, a large electric fan (and a torrential thunder-storm) helped a lot.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Friendly little hotel right in the centre of town, with everything in walking distance, including museums, restaurants, etc. We booked this hotel because they have parking in their courtyard (for a small fee), which was ideal, it's really hard to park in the town centre. We received a warm welcome.
Cons: The parking in the courtyard is too tight, and so another guest damaged our rental car, which would have been a huge problem had we not had 100% insurance. However it's far cheaper to park in the hotel courtyard than in the local public park house, hence we were glad to be in the town centre with parking on site.
7,9 Good
Pros: The location is great, a minute walk to the big square with many restaurants, cafes, shops, cathedral, bus stops. It was easy to find, we had a late checkin and received all necessary information how to get into the building and our rooms.
Cons: Hotel communicated just in French, we stayed for 4 nights and the cleaning was not done throughout our stay, toiletteries and coffee not refilled, floor not wiped
5,4 Okay
Pros: Smelly dirty bathroom that was falling apart, no toilet paper, not enough tea cups, no glassware, no fridge, no milk cartons and all three beds shoved in one room - very dissatisfied
Cons: Parking was secure, staff were nice and location was excellent
6,3 Good
Pros: Freindly staff and wonderful location in city center and the tram is about 100 meters away
Cons: very small room with minor facilities and uncomfortable and unequiped bathroom
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Bedroom was clean, comfortable king size bed.
Cons: Bathroom was very dated. Required renovation.
7,1 Good
Pros: I did like the area is located .
Cons: The cleaning is very poorer three days my room never been cleaned and change the bins litter.

They had prewarned us that the room would not have any air conditioning as it was broken, so we did accept that but when we arrived there was no mention of that, no apology , no anything... a complimentary drink might have been a nice touch... receptionist didn't seem either aware or interested
Cons: room didn't have awarding air con clever photos a bit misleading
