With a stay at Hôtel de Nantes Saint Herblain in Saint-Herblain, you'll be within a 5-minute drive of Zenith de Nantes and Atlantis Shopping Centre. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The 5€ breakfast was delicious. Lots of different choices and I loved the cool orange juice dispenser. And the coffee! It was absolutely perfect, and very affordable too. The bed was so comfy that I actually felt like asking where they got the mattress from. I slept like a baby. Everything was clean, comfortable and accessible. The staff were extremely kind, polite and helpful. I've read some of the reviews complaining about trivial things, but you can't expect luxury facilities for this price. Instead of complaining, go to a 5 star hotel. All in all it exceeded my expectations, especially given the affordable price, plus the TV, plus the free WiFi? I'll be coming here again!
Cons: There was a cold draft coming in from the window (I checked that it was fully closed) which seemed badly insulated. But the heating made up for it.
Pros: Friendly staff, safe parking, comfy beds, good net. No frill motel. Grill restaurant closeby ( la boucherie) open till midnight.
Cons: Location is outskirt, like industrial zone, but i choose this because of closeby airport. Breakfast poor, but everywhere in France. Check in only possible till 9pm
Pros: The room was very cramped for two people. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
Cons: The toilet and shower are like a small pod. There is no kettle or tea making facility in the room.
Pros: I really liked the staff. They did a great job and were always very nice!
Cons: The room smelled like cigarette.
Pros: Very friendly and charming host.
Pros: The assigned person in the reception was nice.
Cons: Very bad location.Very hard to access with public transportation. Was very noisy because the property is right beside the road. The condition is uncomfortable. Very small room and toilet.
With a stay at Appart’City Confort Nantes Centre, you'll be centrally located in Nantes, just a 4-minute walk from Chateau of the Dukes of Brittany and 5 minutes by foot from Nantes Cathedral. Featured amenities include a 24-hour business center, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and a 24-hour front desk.
Pros: Location near by a lot of restaurant and cafés Price very aceptable . Not fare from sea side
Pros: Every things is perfect staff location
Cons: Nothing we did not like
Cons: A lot of noise from the street
Pros: It’s my 5th time staying here since I was a student in Nantes. The location is great, right in Bouffay where you can find restaurants and shops.
Cons: Nothing actually.
Cons: Location in center bar and restaurant nearby . Near to shops .lovely little studio 4 room kitchen (with all you need to cook meals )facing bathroom with a bath and shower separetedby a corridor ( entrance / hallway) lesing to linving / dinning room with french window liding to the bedroom also with french window parking near by also disabled bay if need it .
Pros: The hotel is in a great location
Cons: the lighting in the rooms is not so good
Pros: The location is very central which is great.
Cons: On the other hand it means that it will be very noisy till late night and early morning hours as it seems that there is no rule for when the bars around have to close (or at least ask the guests to sit inside). We were disturbed in the middle of the night by people shouting in the bar nearby.
Pros: The location of this hotel is PERFECT. So close to Bouffay with all the cafes, bars, restaurants at your fingertips without being too loud and busy.
Cons: The bathroom felt a little dingy, and we had to request an extra towel which is a little annoying. Slightly strange smell lingering in the reception was off putting.
A stay at Appart'City Nantes Cité des Congrès places you in the heart of Nantes, within a 10-minute walk of Chateau of the Dukes of Brittany and Nantes Cathedral. Featured amenities include express check-in, express check-out, and multilingual staff. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: All of it especially the great location and value.
Pros: Expensive for average quality. The bedroom is very small. The name "studio" is overrated. The building seems to date from the 1990s and does not seem to have been refurbished since: paintings, fittings, shower rooms, bedding, etc.
Cons: Although the welcome is very cordial, even friendly and cheerful, the room (described as "studio") is not up to the standard of the welcome. The dominant impression is that the owner wants to make this establishment a cash machine. The location near the convention center is obviously interesting, but the owner seems to be enjoying it beyond reason.
Pros: I really liked that the property was practically in the middle of town; walkable to the actual center, the tourist spots and that there were tons of businesses and experiences close by. The beds were quite comfortable, the bathroom spacious and the kitchenette stocked with appliances, silverware and cooking tools. THe TV was a good sized (although rarely used as I spent majority of my time outdoors). Great spot if your priority is to be out and enjoy the city!
Cons: Older carpet - looked worn and took away from the room.
The 4-star Adagio Nantes Centre holiday residence is ideally located in the city center opposite the Ile de Nantes. Fully equipped apartments with kitchens, a fitness center and undercover private car park make this a prime address for business or leisure stays. The old town is easy to reach on foot or by tram and the Château des Ducs de Bretagne is 109 yards (100 m) away. Directly accessible from the north exit of the TGV train station.
Pros: - Location - functionality of the apartment
Cons: -We were not aware that cleaning and towels were not included in the room price - our mistake that we expected a hotel standard. - check-out as early as at 11
Pros: Location near to train station, tram and bus station Breakfast was good
Cons: WC was outside the wash room. It was very inconvenient Housekeeping is done once in a week only Not much facilities to keep the luggage
Pros: Great location, clean and practical
Pros: Near train station and castle. Very comfortable and clean. Attentive staff.
Cons: Check out at 11am and expensive breakfast.
Pros: Very friendly welcome, courteous and professional service at all times.
Pros: Very good location, close to main attractions and railway station. I recommend to have a breakfast at the hotel , it’s very good and good value.
A stay at Radisson Blu Hotel Nantes places you in the heart of Nantes, within a 15-minute walk of Passage Pommeraye and Nantes Cathedral. Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, a business center, and express check-out.
Pros: The suite was wonderful had a beautiful tub where you can relax after a long day of walking.
Cons: We loved it we stayed for two nights instead of 1.
Pros: Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable, good blackout curtains!
Cons: Some building work going on but didn’t affect us. Piles of washing in the corridor.
Pros: The room Friendly staff Location Choice of breakfast
Cons: Breakfast not hot. Beans, scrambled egg, mushrooms all tepid. Water for tea not hot enough Plug in heater in the room clicking on and of. Sinks you couldn't fill up and horrible bottom of sink with stange tipped up board.
Pros: Good location, beautiful building
Cons: 15euro to park the car...
Pros: Good rooms away from the station yet close to the old town.

Just a 200-metre walk from the Znith de Nantes concert venue in the town of Saint-Herblain, this three-star hotel offers 50 comfortable rooms with a contemporary decor, a bar, a partner restaurant, two seminar rooms and free, secure parking.
Pros: Shopping centre nearby with good range of restaurants
Cons: Awful pillows!
Pros: I had to be at the Laennac CHU de Nantes hospital, so location was perfect for me (15min walk). The rooms and breakfast are basic, but ok for one night.
Cons: Nothing comes to mind.
Pros: Efficient staff, clean room, facilities good
Pros: Good for a layover, very basic room, but with a desk, which I needed to study Good heater Courtesy plate with infusion and coffee Rather quiet for this kind of hotel Kind staff Comfortable beds Free secure parking
Cons: Quite expansive room rates given the basic equipment and standard; a famous competitor just in front was much cheaper Breakfast is a little pricey (9,50 € / person) The bathroom was very cold (no heater inside) No free bottles of water in the room Moisture smell in the room
Pros: The place is clean.
Cons: The location is problematic, the room is tiny for the price. Breakfast is very poor for the price.
Pros: Good location. Good breakfast and good value for money.
Cons: Room size is a little compact. Could have been bigger, but it is comfortable.
With a stay at Hotel Campanile Nantes Centre - Saint Jacques, you'll be centrally located in Nantes, within a 10-minute drive of Jardin des Plantes and Chateau of the Dukes of Brittany. Featured amenities include a business center, express check-in, and complimentary newspapers in the lobby. Planning an event in Nantes? This hotel has facilities measuring 592 square feet (55 square meters), including a meeting room. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The hotel is beside a dedicated bus line 4 from Nantes Castle and Cathedral. 7 stops. Buses are less frequent in the evenings. The room was clean.
Cons: The reviews mention "very good breakfast". I am an expert on hotel breakfasts and it was merely decent, not very good. The sausages were like plastic. Irish sausages are better. There was not much selection of breakfast items. No tomatoes if you wanted a continental breakfast with cheese and ham. The bread was plain Harrys available across continental Europe in supermarkets. Irish sliced bread is better. There was no vending machine selling hot or cold drinks or snacks and there were no late-night eateries, shops, or pizzerias nearby. When I was thirsty returning late, I asked for a vending machine and was told there was none and no offer was made to make one behind the counter.
Pros: Been a few times , great little find
Cons: Witnessed dramatic argument in the bar between staff members last night ,
Pros: I had a delay caused by Claire storm Flixbus’ window accident, and the only hotel I could find at 22:00 was the Campanile Nantes Centre - Saint Jacques. Really cool that reception is open 24/7. The room was clean, welcoming. The bed was comfortable. Room’s carpet was a bit used, however, cleaned. I did not feel bothered. You can make coffee and tea, the amenities are available. Appreciated check-out at 12:00pm. Not all hotels providing it at the moment. I slept very well, even the room faced the street. Very quiet surroundings close to Île de Nantes. I didn’t take breakfast. The grocery and cafes were nearby in Bonlieau. All in all had a very pleasant stay.
Cons: The big spot on the carpet in the corridor on my floor bothered me. Can‘t judge if the reason was the storm at night before.
Pros: Possibility to boil water in the room. Really amazing buffet breakfast!
Cons: Blanket not really clean.
Pros: Standard buffet breakfast
Cons: The reception manager was not so helpful/ kind- otherwise the receptionist guy was nice.
Pros: The receptionists were so cool even the waitresses at the restaurant

Pros: Friendly staff and good value for money. Nice breakfast.
Cons: The meals : poor choice and tasteless.
Pros: Hotel in the center of the city, very comfortable, in small distant from all the touristic points of the city. Friendly personnel. Very good breakfast.
Pros: The center location
Cons: The room was old style
Pros: Location close to the city center.
Cons: Rooms wasn't clean, bad smell and cold. Too small, really, like travelling on a night train. Not to mention the old interior 'design'. Breakfast nothing special.

Pros: Nice and clean room
Pros: I liked that it was in the middle of town
Cons: I didn't like that I still haven't received my security deposit back.
Pros: Very central location. Nice and friendly staff Room very functional Nice bar with very friendly barman
Cons: Very difficult to reach the hotel by car. It took us 15mn to reach the hotel reception by phone... Some noise from room donwn the hall and the corridor, bad noise isolation.

Guest rooms come with microwaves, refrigerators, coffee makers, desks, safes and cable televisions.
Pros: Staff were friendly.
Cons: No breakfast left one hour before end time. Overpriced. Still working on the hotel. Small bed.
Pros: Never had croissant. Bed ok
Pros: Clean, quiet room with comfy bed Adequate breakfast (no hot options though) Convenient for motorway/Nantes peripherique Large shopping centre and restaurants just a short drive.
Cons: No mugs/cups in the kitchenette. Several very large potholes in the carpark Traffic on surrounding roads very, very heavy at peak times.
Pros: Breakfast was decent. I am vegan but even so I found quite a few things I could eat. Not what you'd get in the UK as a vegan (e.g. non dairy milks, yogurt alternatives etc) but I wouldn't expect that in France to be fair.
Cons: TV didn't work in my room. They did offer me chance to change rooms but was a bit of a palaver, mainly because when you needed to speak to reception the phone didn't work in the room either, so you had to go all the way downstairs and queue up behind all the people just arriving at the hotel to check in - therefore everything took ages. . Other room offered had really noisy fan which didn't seem to turn off, so stayed in original room. No coffee or tea or sugar in rooms at all, despite kitchenette facilities. There were some sachets of sugar and tea bags downstairs in the communal lounge area so I asked if I could take / buy some. Was told I could buy coffee at 50 centimes a sachet, which given I had paid £124 for the room for one night seemed a bit of a rip off. Turned out there was no coffee anyway. Tried to walk to a shop but nearest shop quite a long way and not the kind of place it was nice to be walking round at dusk, so gave up. Nice lady working in hotel bar (on her own, despite being very busy, so very long wait) kindly gave me some ground coffee to take up to my room. Literally only wanted a couple of sachets of coffee and some sugar for my room and spent most of evening procuring it. Water in the shower in the morning was COLD - really, properly COLD. Didn't raise with reception as phone in room didn't work and would have had to go downstairs in my pyjamas / towel wrapped round me - really not ideal. So had a freezing cold shower.

This 3-star hotel boasts 113 studios and 3-bedroom apartments for 2 to 6 people. All of them have fitted kitchens and inviting living spaces. Pros: Very nice room, good location, quiet and clean neighborhood, many shops, restaurants and tram nearby.
Pros: Good value for money. Reasonable location. Helpful staff. The room felt quite dark, but was well equipped, clean and modern feeling. Would recommend for short stays.

Pros: Hotel was a great value and staff extremely courteous. Rooms are well designed and extremely clean. Easy walk from the train station and in the center of Nantes.
Pros: Easy access for car - easy breakfast and dinner
Cons: Expensive wine for a glass Poor pillows for comfort No mirror at dressing table Unfortunately our room was by the stair access door and it was very noisy banging all night
Pros: Easy checkin process! Was staying overnight so just needed somewhere to sleep! Bed was comfortable and they had an extra pillow which was good!
Cons: Towels were a bit old and thin!
Pros: Our second visit to this lovely hotel near to the center of Nantes. We spent 2 nights over Christmas and enjoyed the comfortable, relaxing ambiance and excellent restaurant on both nights. Very helpful and friendly staff. We will be back!
Pros: Room was very clean and staff were extremely friendly!
With a stay at Quick Palace Nantes La Beaujoire in Nantes (Beaujoire), you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Jardin des Plantes and Zenith de Nantes. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: It has a good location as it is close to grocery shops. Also there is a bus stop near the hotel.
Cons: The reception was not open for long
Pros: Location and quitenes
Cons: The room to small and have no fridge or microwave
Pros: I did not see anyone other than other dog show people. Fine if you are going to the dog show. Needs a total over haul. Horrid carpet. Sleezy bathroom needs slippers. But fine as cheap and cheerful. Suited me,
Cons: IT was fine. Dogs were accepted
Pros: Location was good, the owner was very rude!! We had travelled along way by bike and he was bad mannered and unhelpful. Facilities not the best and room was definitely not sound proof.
Cons: The owner/Manager's attitude. Hallway to room was very dark so difficult to find the lock on door.
Pros: Very cosy and comfortable, warm and calm place to stay!! It has private car parking, witch is nice to!
Pros: Left v early - had no breakfast

Pros: The location was good as it was in the centre and near to the station. Most of the attractions were within walking distance.
Cons: We were 2 adults and 2 children the room we were give was too small to accomodate us with a double bed and 2 sofabeds open there was no room to move around when you add the lugguage as well. The breakfast was on the poor side everyday the same things and when the bacon finished it was not replanished this happened everyday of our stay.
Pros: Shower was amazing. Took it twice, thats how amazing it was.
Cons: Breakfast could be better. Little more variety and work on scrambled eggs.
Cons: The cloth hangers provided was inadequate for five days stay. It will nice to squeeze a work table to help business travelers.
Pros: The hotel was clean and super well located across the road from the train station which is why we booked. The rooms where clean and the check out time was reasonable. The beds in Ibis hotels are always big and comfy too!
Cons: We where told on the website that pets where friendly but when we arrived we where not even greeted by the staff but they automatically responded negatively about our small dog and without even saying hello told us that the dog would be an additional 25 Euro charge, which I happily paid but was unhappy with the way the staff asked and that this was not mentioned on the website when booking.

Pros: Friendly and helpful English speakers stuff.
Cons: We stayed for four night but the room wasn't cleaned and the towels weren't changed during all that time and the place suppose to be a three star hotel. Located far from the historic city and the center, on main road tram running all night. The building is quite dated
Pros: Incredibly comfy bed and pillows. Great kitchenette facilities. Lovely hot shower and nice towels.
Pros: Large rooms with separate lounge area and kitchen
Cons: The toilet was separate from the bathroom, was at the other side of the room with no sink so was a bit of a walk to wash your hands
Cons: Kettle not working - essential when baby’s involved. Replacement not found so had to commute between 5th & ground floor for hot water!

Pros: It was a fantastic location; very clean, friendly staff, walking distance to everything we should see!
Pros: Staff & cleanliness . Also bathroom products smell wonderfull (shampoo conditioner shower gel)
Cons: There was no mini-fridge in the room. More space for clothes.
Pros: Location, staff, comfort
Cons: Limited parking
Pros: The location is excellent, very central. The staff is helpful and very nice - we were always welcomed with a huge smile.
Cons: The usual standards of a 4-star hotel were not met. There were only two pillows on the bed, and we had to request bathrobes. The cleaning service had its limits (we did not finish our drinks and the glasses were not cleaned despite the cleaning lady having come to the room). There is coffee and tea in the room but you can only have them in paper cups (which is also not environment friendly).
Pros: Entrance and reception area very grand, room comfortable, staff excellent, friendly and helpful. Breakfast fresh and well presented. Location in the city very good
Cons: Room ok but lacked any character. The grand entrance to tbe hotel is a facade against the rest of the hotel, I guess my expectation was greater than reality
Pros: Superb location, comfort, and excellent customer service. An excellent stay in Nantes.
Pros: Very nice hotel , i liked that in was right in the city center
Cons: The room quite small and to fiind the hotel and the parking is really challenging

Cons: The beds were noisy
Pros: Great to be able to sleep the whole family in one flat! We often have to rent two rooms for a family of 5.
Cons: We had a flat on the second floor without lift, a bit tricky to carry everything and ensure the children’s safety in the stairs at the same time.
Pros: The location was good
Cons: Room wasn’t clean. Shower wasn’t working properly Had to pay extra for parking You’ve to take out your own trash and make sure the kitchen is clean
Pros: Bed comfortable. Good location. Vending machine well stocked. Sufficient park spaces (although gate appeared to be open continually). Piping hot water.
Cons: Staff not very friendly or helpful. Turned up 0750 (instead of 0800) for breakfast but it (very limited..i.e. bread, croissants, yoghurts, muesli, jams, milk, hot drinks, juice. and burnt... for 8.50€ each!!!) wasn't ready until 0820. Sunday breakfast is 5.00€ each but is a platter prepared on Saturday, so we cancelled that after Saturday's fiasco. Carpets in main areas filthy and stair treds in poor state of repair. Cleaning carts left in hallways all day. Toilet roll holder in room missing key part. Electric socket loose in main room. No sockets in kitchenette area for coffee machine. Hob filthy. Staff not in attendance Sundays. 3.00€ per night stayed over for parking. TV doesn't change language (even though it says it does). Vending machine doesn't always work (staff refunded money and suggested trying another slot, when it have change but not the item). Only one side table next to bed. No net curtains in bedroom. No air conditioning.
Pros: It was close to the job I had to be at.
Cons: Basic, lots of broken items, my heater was broken and my cooked wasn’t working, cigarette burns in the kitchen and bathroom was dirty.
Pros: Quite simple hotel, but very good value for money. It is new building so it is ok
Cons: We didn´t have hot water the last day and nobody around to tell (reception close at 19 hrs) The hotel is far from Nantes center, around 10 kms

Pros: Hotel away from main tourist area and so quieter which was great for us. Free secure parking as a weekend. We walked a lot so the location was great for us. Very quiet and convenient and remarkable value for money.
Pros: Breakfast was good.
Cons: The building is quite old, bathroom is not maintained properly, the roof painting was cracking. But the most painful point was rooms are way too hot. Interior temperature was at 27°C. With a 4 month old baby that was not pleasant. We were obligated to open the windows and have horrible loud noise from the streets.

Pros: Brilliant location and good parking , friendly and helpful staff
Pros: Breakfast is ok....douwtown, bus for the airport...pretty to take a walk near water...
Pros: Breakfast was great.
Cons: No real workspace or work chair (shelf with ottoman). Wierd bathroom.
Pros: Very modern interior
Cons: Noisy being next to the railway station, toilet in the room had been used & not flushed & the room stank of urine, after complaint we were moved but the general cleanliness was poor, not what you expect from a 4* hotel at £240 per night.
Pros: Good position to visit the city, internal parking and great breakfast
Pros: Hotel was Excellent and restaurant was very good. Quiet hotel even though a busy location.
Cons: A bit further to walk to centre than we anticipated, hotel was advertised as “ close to centre” but was a good 20 minute walk which was longer than expected.

Pros: Nice playing area for the kids
Cons: Staff is very unfriendly and not willing to work
Pros: Good clean value accommodation walking distance from everything. Some Rooms have river views
Cons: They told me in reception that they will send me a receipt by email after problems in the check out and they didn't sent I sent them an email asking for the the receipt as i was told and didn't answer at all
Pros: Very central location (close to the central station and the castle) and near the airport shuttle which was convenient too. Most staff members were friendly and nice.
Cons: The room was quite old and basic - a bit surprised that it was a four star hotel. The bathroom was okay but not the cleanest. The shower curtain smelled funny and there was some mould patch in the sill. I get that it’s not brand new, but that threw me a little, as I was staying in an amazing four star hotel in a nearby city beforehand.
Pros: Great breakfast, good location.
Cons: Coffee machine
Pros: Good location and friendly staff. Good breakfast......
Cons: The foot of our bed flipped up when we laid down on it. I took the single bed and my wife and son had the double bed to make it more comfortable. The plug in the bathroom basin wasn’t working so the basin couldn’t fill up. A bit of rubbish left in the room under the desk after the previous guests left. No key to the fridge so we had no access. No milk with the tea and coffee:
