Best Western Plus Plaza Hotel

I called Before my check in time and they told me my room was ready and I get before the check in time, which it was nice because I was so tired and I need to rest. Also, the day I have to check out they keep my luggage for the rest of the day without charge, that was awesome!! The front desk was very nice, thank you, definitely recommended

Breakfast was great, varied and fresh. For the price, it's an excellent stay if all you're looking for is staying the night and going to Manhattan all day long. The subway station is a block away and, while the neighborhood might be somewhat sketchy, we never had any issues coming back late at night. The staff was great, specially Stephanie, and the rooms were clean and beds were comfy.

The only "bad" thing I'd say about the place is that if you're driving in, it will cost you $25 dollars a day to keep your car parked there, but that's a cheap alternative to parking in NYC.

I found the rooms clean with comfortable beds, and furniture attractive and in good condition. I found the rooms were quiet. I was concerned noise would be an issue since I was adjacent to the exit door and across from the breakfast room. I did hear the door close and open but the sound was fairly unintrusive.

Some confusion re: the room cost. This might have been a KAYAK issue, but it was fairly easily remedied, and the person at the desk was apologetic and professional. Parking could have been difficult (I was VERY lucky to get a spot right outside the front door), but that is to be expected in NYC. If I hadn't gotten the spot, I would have been charged an extra $25 (per day? per stay?), a fee I was unprepared for.
