Pros (+) It was a clean and comfortable resort. Very relaxing. The pool and spa were fantastic. The excursion guy was able to upgrade us to vip for Cirque du Soleil (it’s at another resort). The staff was overall friendly, even though service was pretty slow at the pool.
Cons (-) For a wellness resort, their gym was not impressive. The food was mediocre, the chicken usually too dry and the steak super thin. Multiple times I told them I don eat bread, rice or potatoes, and they still put it on my plate. Not all restaurants were open daily. Pros (+) This is a beautiful, quiet resort that felt very luxurious and peaceful. It was only a short (20 minute) ride from the airport. The service staff were incredible, always helpful, smiling and seemed to be having a good time themselves. Tips weren't expected at all, but bring some, they deserve it!
