The hotel is located on East Broadway in the heart of downtown Portland. The lobby and corridor of the hotel are very nicely designed and decorated: for example all the beautiful photo's in the corridor to the hotel rooms. The room is compact but very comfortable. Everything very clean. Comfortable very good bed, bed linnen, etc.
We thought that parking and breakfast was included in the allreaduy quite high price. The prices for room services and items available in the rooom fridge and in the room are very high.
staff were extremely kind/warm, and location was great for walking/downtown.
room service failed to clean our room two days in a row. hallway smelled like urine one night. room was exceptionally small, no counter space whatsoever in the bathroom, shower pressure and cold water nonexistent (meaning the shower was scalding), no hair dryer or iron in our room. for the price we paid, we expected more.
Friendly staff and location
For 4 star hotel room so small and cramped
Location and amenities, staff, decor
Rooms are historical and therefore small, my particular room was more than fine for single person but may have proven right for a couple to share.
The staff went out of their way to accommodate, even helped me with my tie.
Size of the rooms.
