Pros: This is a very beautiful and idyllic place to stay. The view over Roma is breathtaking. The owner is just lovely and helpful with a lot of tips for trips. And don‘t miss his great breakfast! We really enjoyed our stay.

Pros: Tenuta Cusmano is easy to get to from both Rome centre and Ciampino Airport. A lot of thought has gone into the design of the villa and the gardens to make the best of the incredible views. The owner is very welcoming and goes the extra mile to make sure all his guests are well looked after. The closest town, Grottaferrata, is a 15min walk and is full of really good restaurants. Great place for exploring the towns of Castelli Romani or just staying around the pool.

Pros: We spent our vacation here with our family and friends. The host told us all about hotel, tourist information and restaurants etc.. and was very kind. The hotel room was decorated with very historical and beautiful objects. It was old but carefully managed. The garden is really wide and full of beautiful trees and flowers and the view was clear from everywhere. It was especially beautiful around swimming pool, and they cleaned the water very carefully. Thank you again to the host and we expect to spend a longer vacation here some day.

Pros: LOVED our stay at this beautiful property! Grottoferrata is a lovely town away from the hustle and bustle of Rome but still so close to go sightseeing. We used a car to get around and found driving and traffic manageable and it made our trip much easier. Breakfast was very delicious....the scrambled eggs my favorite ever. Our favorite part of our stay was the incredible hospitality of the host, Maurizio! He was so kind and accommodating, going out of his way to make us comfortable and ensuring we had a good stay. I wish I could give a rating of an 11!

Pros: The views from this property are amazing and the grounds are beautiful. The host is very friendly and helpful and the service at breakfast was superb. We enjoyed relaxing at the amazing outdoor pool and enjoying the surroundings. There is a small town a short walk away where we enjoyed dinner.
Cons: Without a car this property is more difficult to travel to and will add expense to your stay to get a taxi as public transport here is limited. The building does feel slightly ran down and dated and be aware that the pool is only naturally heated and therefore is pretty cold! This was fine for us because the sun was very strong when we were there.

Pros: This was our second visit to Tenuta Cusmano. The views are wonderful. If you are travelling with a car, it's a great place to be in relation to Rome. Do not drive into Rome. Drive to the train station and take the Metro Red Line into the city.

Pros: First and foremost, it's Maurizio as the host who is doing over and above so you can enjoy your stay. On the last day, he suggested late afternoon checkout at no extra cost which was very generous of him. Other than that, very good facility and definitely excellent value for money.

Pros: We stayed overnight en route from Ste. Maxime to Sicily and it was conveniently located, very comfortable and pleasant. The staff were friendly and helpful. Parking was easy. The dining room looked excellent but we did not use it as we were tired after a long drive and it did not open until late in the evening. There were many small restaurants nearby and we did have an excellent meal. Breakfast was excellent. Overall, a very good stop for us. But not a destination place.

The renovations provide all the modern amenities in a style that is in keeping with the area and the age of the property. Pros: The classic suite is just like a fairytale house in the mountains. It has a superb view of the entire Rome city and is very spacious too. Silvia, our host, was one of the nicest persons I've ever met. She is very considerate and warm and makes you feel like at home. Do go by her recommendations about the dinning restaurant nearby as it was one of the most delicious Italian meal we had.
Cons: The bathroom is slightly small as compared to the size of the suite but is manageable.

Pros: We booked 3 nights and stayed in the Rosa room. It is a lovely decorated and spacious room, with a balcony with a fantastic view. Silvia was the perfect host. She was helpful (even before we got their via email correspondence) and during our stay. The breakfast and the homemade cakes are a bonus. We can’t recommend this place nearly enough, and we’d love to come back some time. And for those without a car, then it’s still possible to get here by public transport and a little walk :-)

Pros: Comfortable and well decorated hotel, perfectly located in the so charming centre of Frascati, at walking distance to many good restaurants, bars, gelateria... Good breakfast buffet with excellent coffee (cappuccino, expresso...), salty and sweet food, and fresh fruits. Last but not least, the personnel is very friendly and dedicated, and always happy to help you. Definitely my first choice in Frascati !

Pros: A superb location and a lovely little hotel. The room was small but plenty of space, very comfortable bed, really nice bathroom. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. The breakfast is downstairs in a basement restaurant and bar, very cosy and good breakfast, too. Good cleaning service.
Cons: Not sure they offered an evening meal or not, certainly I didn't see room service but it's a small hotel and there are many good places to eat, starting just outside the hotel!

Pros: Excellent hotel location in the heart of Frascati, close to the train station thus 25 min to Roma Termini. Nicely decorated hotel operated by very very friendly and helpful staff. Spacious, clean, well equipped rooms. Good breakfast with excellent cappuccino, plenty of good restaurants around. Although Frascati offers several good hotels, Colonna has remained my favorite for about 15 years.

Pros: Excellent location just next to the train station (stairs to be used), very friendly welcome and a nice and tasty breakfast. Lots of very good restaurants nearby and nice bar just in front. We used the hotel as a base to discover Rome. The train goes direct (half an hour) and only costs around 2 euro.
Cons: No negative points to report. Be mindful that to reach the main square from the train station you need to take a number of stairs. The hotel also does not have an elevator.

Cons: The room doesn't come with an iron and the hotel is far away from any public transport, walking to the nearest town can be dangerous as the path is not well lit, there's no pavement. and the road is quite busy.

Pros: The main building is beautiful, we were in the coach house(?) type building which was fine, it was closer to the pool! The room was lovely, very traditional looking. The food was excellent, we were offered lunch as soon as we got there which we weren’t expecting and which was very welcome after a long drive from Florence! The WiFi was a bit patchy but usable. We made use of the shuttle bus they offer to the train station, you can then get a train to Rome which takes 15 minutes or so. There is free parking onsite.
Cons: The other reviews are right when they say that the staff are a bit preoccupied if there is a wedding on. We wanted an evening drink after a day in the city and we felt like a bit of a nuisance, they had to find a waitress who then had to open the bar and serve us our drink. Luckily we only wanted one drink to wind down after the bustle of Rome and we wanted to take our drinks to our room to enjoy there which I think the staff were quite relieved about.

Pros: The breakfast is just ordinary. No eggs from the kitchen , only the omelett from the heated plate. The choice of bread could be bigger. Perfect grand in the main lobby, everyone can play, it is real Steinway & sons.
Cons: Feel pity for the grand. It requires to be serviced, tunes and cleaned. And the protection cover would be really useful, considering that during the party the disco equipment normally put on the grand

Pros: The suite we were in was lovely, spacious and comfortable although the bed was a bit too firm. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much and highly recommend the hotel. Staff were excellent and helped with directions to Tivoli, and in making taxi arrangements. The on-site restaurant was very good also. Parking was easy and access to the autostrada was good (it took us 45 minutes to drive to Fiumicino in the rush hour).
Cons: Breakfast could have been a bit better; it was OK - too many sweet things and not enough savoury.

Cons: Horrid old room. Noisy. You could hear everything outside your door. Car park off a roundabout--difficult to navigate. Mattress hard. Bed sheets rough and thin. Lumpy pillows. Restaurant not great. Owner's children running and playing in restaurant while we were dining. Crazy!!! We arrived mid afternoon. Sat at a table to have 2 beers and were charged 2euro each cover charge--ridiculous!!!! People who rate this fabulous must live in tents at home. Avoid!!!!

Pros: It is a villa of the 15th century with a beautiful view over the city of Rome. It is located in the middle of a very nice park. The common areas are very nice and breakfast was good too.

Pros: Clean, friendly staff, descent bed, good breakfast, private and secured car park free of charge, restaurant on-site, fair price.
Cons: Nothing major. Location is not glamorous but it is very practical if you need a room be for or after your flight. No blanket available in the room but we should have asked at the reception .

Cons: Transfers were expensive. We were told there was an airport shuttle but we both paid more than a cab would have charged. The transfer is free to the train station

Pros: The staff were extremely helpful, the room was clean and they offer a free transfer service to nearby locations (e.g. industrial estate) which is handy if you're working locally.
Cons: The room doesn't come with an iron and the hotel is far away from any public transport, walking to the nearest town can be dangerous as the path is not well lit, there's no pavement. and the road is quite busy.
