Pros: King size suite was a very large room, very modern and extra clean. Bed was comfortable, the food was also good.
Cons: I would say the only down fall is the parking, however, $29 for ballet parking is very reasonable considering where we were. The valet was on point and had my car ready, which was great because I had younger children with me.

Cons: They nearly ruined the gorgeous marble lobby of the Fulton Building by adding all sorts of slightly trashy 90s design don'ts to this Beaux Arts beauty. TV screens all over, a cramped, ugly bar, and nasty multi colored lights inside the glass dome. The rooms are fairly large but with more oversized, shabby chic furniture which would make Dorothy Draper blush. And PLEASE renovate the bathrooms! The fixtures are really cheap, dated, and quickly becoming obsolete.

I read complaints about price of valet parking, it was 26 dollars overnight. For me not to have to deal with anything I don’t find it terribly priced. Very nice bar/restaurant off the lobby. Pros: The hotel is so beautiful. It is in a perfect location. It is within walking distance to everything. The bed is so comfortable. I could not have asked for a better place to stay.

Pros: My wife & I were in town for a concert at the Benedum and this hotel was exactly what i was hoping to surprise her with for our anniversary. Within easy walking distance of both TenPenny restaurant and the venue, this elegant hotel provided another bit of ambience to our weeeknd. The piano playing in the lobby upon our return from dinner set the mood for the show, and the piano playing upon our return from the show was a nice night-cap. For the price, the proximity of this hotel to the cultural district is unbeatable. Our next evening in town will include the Omni William Penn Hotel.

Cons: Some of the rooms were quite substandard and badly in need of renovation with absurdly tiny bathrooms. More like a 1-2 star level of hotel than supposedly 4. The hotel windows didn't seem to be the usual double paned, and let quite a bit of city noise in, especially as there was construction from 8am-7pm during the week. The floor were also noisy....it seemed like most guests felt a need to slam their hotel doors constantly. Also, the lack of a minibar in the room was quite odd for this level of hotel.

Cons: When we checked in, we were told since we booked with an "outside" agency, we wouldn't get "credit" towards our Omni select membership, but we would still get free wifi and free coffee in the morning. However, I was delivered a bill with a charge for wifi. When I checked out, the woman at the desk was a bit brusque about it. She said we did not qualify for free wifi or coffee since we booked through an outside agency, but after I explained that's not what I was told on check-in, she then said she would give me a one time courtesy. I did not like how she handled this, and that's why I gave a three star for staff.

Pros: Loved the beds! Very very comfortable. I heard more than a few people commenting on how well they slept! I didn't have to call room service for a thing! Enough towels, pillows, blankets, and everything worked! Nothing broken, nothing missing, quiet room, great view, housekeeping did a great job. Two different restaurants to dine in/even has a Brueggers in house. One restaurant was fine dining, the other an English Pub! We loved that we could bring our own cooler/or bottle of wine down into the lobby and hang out there. A lot of people did this. Just a pleasure as it's a beautiful old fashioned open lobby with big sofas and fluffy chairs, gorgeous chandeliers! Situated right in the heart of Pittsburgh! Not too far to walk to either stadium, right around the corner from the Consol for hockey and close to the bridge to walk over to Station Square. I would recommend this hotel to any adult couple/group travelling.
Cons: No pool/sauna or gym. Labor Day Parade made it difficult to get out or around the city when we were there but that has nothing to do with the hotel. Not a great hotel for children as no amenities geared towards them. Price was a bit high, even through Orbitz. I got an email from the hotel after I made my res through Kayak/Orbitz and they offered my same room for $99 per night instead of the $148 I paid (King standard room) but the hotel wouldn't accommodate the adjusted price as I had paid a third party (who by the way, paid them). Not convenient that I would need to call the third party and request that they adjust what they charged me. Hoping that Kayak/Orbitz will still adjust for me! I'll let you know!

Pros: It's a Holiday Inn Express. The facility was clean, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the location near the ballpark was great. Now that that's out of the way, what you want to know is what makes this place better than the rest. You learn a lot about a hotel when the staff is under duress. How do they perform? What is their temperament, their professionalism. I saw it on 8/3/15. Housekeeping was short staffed and the linens came back late from the cleaners. There was a line of impatient people waiting to check in at 6:00pm and their were no rooms that were ready. All the staff could do was apologize and give away upgrades. But through it all, the staff remained polite, positive and helpful. The manager was called and he came and addressed the line of impatient people and explained what was happening. You know what he was doing before he came over? He was folding towels and helping out where he could. This is the place you want to stay. They will do whatever it takes to make your stay comfortable even when they are having one of the worst days possible.

Pros: We checked in late on a Friday with our two small children into a double queen room. After a lot of effort we realized that we needed a king room since our children would kotbaleepwithout us. After calling the front desk they not only were able to give us a king room but they put us two rooms down from where we were and brought the keys up to trade. They made our first time in a hotel with the kids go much more smoothly.
Cons: The underground garage while.nice will be much better once renovations are done. It definitely needs spruced up.

Cons: Was in town for the Steelers game. Public transit and access in Pittsburgh (in general) is a big pain and the location of the hotel doesn't help even though it is relatively close to downtown. The shuttle never ran on time and therefor made other arrangements for my airport run as I was worried I would be late.

Cons: I second the other comment about the nickel and diming. Valet and Wifi should be included in the cost of your stay. Also, I was very unimpressed by the food at the hotel bar, Andy's. I wouldn't have minded the fact it was so overpriced as can be expected at a hotel, but the Angus sliders had no taste. We should have made a quick walk over to Primanti Brothers which is only about 5 minutes away on the square.

The staff was friendly and helpful, and the food at Habitat and Andy's, while expensive, was delicious. We stayed for the first time on Valentine's day and plan on doing the same next year.
Cons: The price is excessive, nearly $400 for one night. While you certainly get what you pay for, I would recommend staying elsewhere unless you can justify this kind of expenditure as it really is a one a year kind of splurge for us. Cons: The room overlooked the front awning where visitors can drop off luggage. The awning is sloped and water aggregates in pools at the back end of the awning right in front of my room's window. It looked pretty disgusting and they probably need to clean it or should have putt a better drainage system/slope to the awning. The bed sheets had a subtle stench to them. The sink must have been clogged because it would quickly fill to the brim if left running. The shower was also a little grimy and the drain cover came off when I bumped into it with my foot. For the decrease in price compared to the other hotels near the convention center I think I could have done better.

The parking is self parking and very convenient to get your own car when needed. It is walking distance to many things and close to catch the T if inner city transportation is needed. My only suggestion is that if you want to sleep past 9 am, put your do not disturb sign out the night before so housekeeping isn't knocking on your door. I appreciated the knock, however, to help get my daughter out of bed.

Also - while my room was getting ready, the women at the front desk told me I could use the shower in the fitness area to get ready. I went into the women's locker room and there was a male cleaning it, therefore I couldn't even use it. The locker rooms were awful aesthetically and need to be revamped ASAP. The only service that was great was the bell hop/concierge where we left our bags. The gentlemen there was very helpful, friendly, and inviting.

I believe it is because we purchased the room through kayak so there was no discussion of displeasure at check out. The sheets were dirty with stains from other guests. The in room coffee pot did not work, I asked to have it addressed twice, but nothing was done about it. The TV remote did not work, I had to ask three times to get it replaced. The desk staff were unable to describe the amenities around PNC Park and did not seem to care if we enjoyed our stay or not. As if since our room was prepaid so they did not need to take care of us.

Cons: When we arrived around 10am, the woman at the front desk could not find my reservation and wasn’t particularly willing to help find it. She told me that they were fully booked or else they would offer to match my price. I told her it’s already paid for so she told me to call whoever I booked through. My booking through Kayak went through getaroom.com. While on hold with them, the woman at the front desk told me that they aren’t even allowed to book Springhill Suites rooms. After waiting on hold for about 20 minutes the getaroom woman finally came back, apparently she had spoken to the Springhill Suites manager, and they decided that they didn’t have any room for us so getaroom was going to get me a room somewhere else and rail me before 3pm with the new hotel information. 3pm rolled around and I had received no contact from anybody so I called again. The woman I spoke with this time put me on hold and called the Springhill again, this time they were able to find my reservation which they had the whole time but there was a spelling error on my name. I feel that if the front desk woman when I came in originally was a little more willing to assist or if the manager had actually come out to speak to me, this probably could have been resolved that morning without forcing me to drive around, pay for parking in other parts of the city, and have anxiety about whether or not we would even have a place to stay and the possibility that we might have to drive 4 hours back home. It also makes me very frightened that the trip to London and Paris that I’ve booked through Kayak May have the same issues.

Additionally, the building was never evacuated and when he questioned a janitor on staff he seemed unsure on if there was a real emergency or not. No announcement was ever made and clearly no one cared because only about 6 people has evacuated after the alarm. Additionally, none of my requests through the app check-in were fulfilled and I had request everything over again upon arrival.

Cons: They overbooked the hotel. I had to wait in line for over an hour just to find out if there would be a room available for me. When I inquired about canceling my reservations, they then told me I could do so but would not be refunded. The two ladies at the desk gave some of the worst customer service I have ever seen. I decided to continue to wait since I would not be reimbursed for my reservation. After waiting an hour and a half a room became available for me. The lady at the desk was very rude while checking me in. Asking me questions like "are you in rush? Do you have plans or something?" By this time it was 9:00pm and I and I'm assuming most of the other customers of the hotel had plans. I assumed the hotel would offer me free parking at the very least because of my wait. The lady at the desk declined frees parking. This hotel was horrendous. I do not recommend it to anyone. And I will never stay there again.

Pros: The convenience of the location was great for my stay, but that alone did not make it worth the money.
Cons: The room was dirty, sheets were dingy and had hair on them, there was trash on the floor, stains on the carpet, and dried blood underneath the sink area and on the wall. The sink and the tub did not drain well. I took a 10 minute shower and found myself in 12 inches of water by the end of it. I had to pay extra for parking which was shocking to me because it made it seem like it was included and it is not the area where I would freely leave my car. When I recieved an email confirming my stay it said that check in was 3pm and check out was 12pm, I had housekeeping knocking at my door at 10:50 asking me when i was going to check out. I will never be back.

Pros: Clean, nice, comfortable rooms.
Cons: I didn't like finding a bill under my door the final morning for parking at the motel. $14.00 per day for parking my car in the outdoor lot. I could see if I was parking a second car there, but that was not the case. It is just a way to hide actual costs when comparing motels online.

Pros: Staff was friendly and recommendations for food, etc., helpful. Disability accessible rooms met a variety of needs. I had a great view of Mt. Washington, river and downtown skyline. The neighborhood is super cool and walkable. Great access to Mt. Washington, restaurants, shops, etc.
Cons: I was not aware of the charge for parking, but parking in the area is clearly a problem, so I was glad to have guaranteed space. There were no safes in the room, so I had to ask to have items locked in the manager's office.

Pros: Sufficient amenities. Comfortable beds. Friendly staff. Ok breakfast when food was available. Free wifi. Free shuttle service within 3 miles is awesome but never got the chance to use.
Cons: First off the suprise $14 parking fee as soon as we checked in was the first disappointment. My brother and I were exhausted from our drive and knew they had an indoor pool so we were excited to relax. Pool was small and colder than an outdoor pool in spring time. Their breakfast was adequate but it was constantly out of everything and ended an hour before advertised.
