Ease of access into Peterborough for our meeting. Late arrivals were not a problem Friendly staff Buffet breakfast Clean bar and restaurant area
Car park was full when we arrived and we had to park in the public carpark 5 minutes away from the hotel leaving expensive cargo in the van, guess our late arrival didn’t help matters! Public corridor carpets could do with a good steam clean - looks like a lot of builders had been passing through and let the rest of the establishment down.
Everything friendly staff nice rooms comfy beds. Good food in the adjoining restaurant
The property was absolutely fine. It did exactly what it needed to do, but did not go above and beyond that. The room was clean, the staff were pleasant, the breakfast was decent, and the location was good. There was also decent room in the carpark when we arrived for our 2pm check-in.
Despite the room being clean, outside it was not. The stairs in particular were grey and dingy and could really do with a bit of attention by the hoover considering it is one of the first things you see on arrival. The executive room was a decent size, but our beds were two twins pushed together - one very hard, and one extremely saggy so it was a bizarre nights sleep. The bathroom was hilarious as it had a very dim light overhead but a blindingly bright mirror light?! I would maybe stay again, but not for anything more than somewhere to sleep.
