The bedroom was spacious and the bathroom had a bath and a walk in shower as well as a toilet and two hand basins. The air conditioning was effective and quiet. The bed was very comfortable. There was a nice balcony with a table and chairs. The WiFi was free and excellent. The on-site garage was perfect for parking our car. The swimming pool was excellent. The breakfast was all cold food but plentiful with a good variety and fresh. The owners are very helpful. The house and gardens are stunning and we loved every minute of our three night stay. Thank you Miguel and Marie Luz.

5,0 Okay
Cons: Nobody speaks English/room: safe didnt work, cigaret smell, airco defect,we had to move!2 times the staff took away the towels we paid deposit for,the t shirt which was on the towels was also gone. Im pregnant but we werent allowed to take the table in the shadow for breakfast. Also there they didnt clean our table, every time we ordered drinks, they forgot them. Parking is very expensive and very small. 1 man, Sergei fortunately was very friendly and solved some issues
9,3 Excellent
Pros: Nice and modern hotel, rooms were perfectly clean. Helpful and kind staff, garage available.
Cons: Nothing, all was well with our stay!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is well located in a town we know and like. Staff were very welcoming, engaging and helpful throughout our stay. Room was very comfortable. Breakfast was varied and generous, offering quality food to suit all tastes and diets. Salads at dinner were excellent - hot dishes only average. Pleanty of fish which was a plus. The pool is beautiful and the sunbed area has panoramic views. Underground car parking €10 a day and worth it. More than good value for money, the hotel is a real treat.
Cons: Dinners could have been better. Starters great, maincourses average, desserts poor. Carafes of plain water on tables and coffee to end dinner in the restaurant or cafeteria would have been good. Please stop playing music around the pool area. I know every hotel does it but it is not necessary. Silence would allow guests to listen on their own personal devices if they want entertainment. Many of us want to read without the background noise.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Very organised and friendly hotel in. Bois location. Good sized rooms with a balcony that had a hanger for washing! Back from the sea front but very close to the promenade and very quiet. Great roof top pool area with lovely views. Got a welcome drink and a bottle of cold water on leaving. Very nice staff too.
Cons: Parking at 14 euros a day seemed steep but you could park on the street for less.
9,3 Excellent
Pros: Good location. Easy check in, nice friendly staff. rooms clean and spacious. Bathroom clean and good shower. Lovely balcony. Rooftop pool was clean and quiet. Breakfast was excellent, more than enough choice. Nice outside area to eat.
Cons: €14 euros to park a motorcycle is a bit excessive when you can park on the street for free. Our toiletries(shower gel) weren’t replaced, I bottle won’t last 2 adults for a 2 night stay

10,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was very clean, well maintained and bedroom large with lovely views of coast and old town. The chill out area was very comfortable, staff helpful. Food at the hotel was good. Also the parking on site was very important.
Cons: It would be difficult to find fault with this hotel, although we did feel the restaurant lacked any ambience all you wanted to do was eat and leave! We also felt on booking that we should have been able to reserve a parking space but were told that the spaces were allocated on a first come basis, this, considering we had booked a room seemed a nonsense.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful...stunning views...excellent breakfasts...lovely staff and facilities
Cons: All good

Pros: Staff lovely
Cons: All the food was cold
9,3 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is in a great location. Very nice staff. Good breakfast. Recommend it and would certainly stay there again.
Cons: Having to pay 9 euro for parking. The lack of tea and coffee making facilities and a fridge in your room.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice location and breakfast. Parking facily is great.
Cons: 4 bed bedrooms a bit tiny, ok for 1 night. Shower system with easy water a bit everywhere in the bathroom.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: view of the castle and beach from the hotel was excellent; view from the room was good but there were buildings; so not unhampered view but we could see the sea; the room we were first given was very small and as we were staying for a week we asked to be changed and it was done immediately, without any fuss. the only shame was that the second room had twin beds and not a double
Cons: my partner has coffee for breakfast and said it wasn't good. other than that no complaints at all.
10,0 Excellent

8,8 Excellent
Pros: location good. did not have breakfeast
Cons: The parking is a total rip off so I will not be going there again!!!!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff, the location, comfortable bed and great breakfast
Cons: Nothing to dislike
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location close to all amenities and tourist areas. There is a supermarket just across the park, and restaurants in the same road as the hotel and there was a big choice of restaurants a very short walk away. We found a a lovely cafe 'Essences' for breakfast that was a bit more substantial than the traditional Spanish one that was on offer at the hotel and it was only 5 minute walk to it. Price was incredible considering the location and cleanliness of the family run hotel.
Cons: This is not a criticism just a personal preference, but I'm not a fan of the Spanish breakfast and considering the price of the hotel I am not surprised that nothing more international was offered.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Very clean, looks like the rooms have been recently modernised.
Cons: When we arrived at the hotel, dropped our bags off and parked the car in the reserved parking we had to follow a one way system and was about 5 minutes drive. It was closer when we walked back to collect the car!! Didn't stay for breakfast but the dining room looked a bit dated!
9,3 Excellent
Pros: Nice hotel located in the middle of everything we wanted. Lovely room on the top floor with a spacious terrace and views across a well kept river/park area. Friendly, helpful guy on the reception.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: LlWorked really well for us. Very pleasant stay.

Pros: What a fantastic, family run hotel. Situated in the middle of Peñiscola and close to the beach, castle and cafes. Parking a little difficult to find but couldn't fault the staff in helping me to find it. Breakfast very good value for money.

Pros: Beach front with amazing design and comfy furnitures. Attentive staffs , breakfast variations , pool with the bar, free parking ...everything.
Cons: Depends on the guests you have around the room, some noises are easier to hear then others.
7,5 Good
Pros: Location. Free parking. Good breakfast.
Cons: Had a ground floor room, with patio and partial sea view. Patio was very small, was right next to the car park and you had to stand and stretch to see the sea.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Great hotel, in front of the beach. Friendly staff & great breakfast.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Excellent position opposite the beach. Lovely bar outside attached to hotel.
Cons: Breakfast choice a bit limited but okay
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We both thought the hotel was so welcoming from the outside and in. Room excellent. The buffet breakfast was one of the best we have eaten. Everything was so fresh, a great selection for everyone's taste. Even the fried eggs did not look as thought they had been sitting there for any length of time.
Cons: Yes, there was no general information about the hotel, example, meal times.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Clean nice staff best hotel on the beach front look out your window and see the 1100 century fort and the beach the 1961 film El Sid was filmed on
Cons: As in all of Spain you are not alway able to get a meal before 8 pm that great for the Spanish
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Excellent breakfast buffet. Free parking. Balcony with beach view. Air conditioning worked well. Friendly and helpful staff. Very comfortable beds. Excellent location directly across from the beach and a 15 min walk to the old town.
Cons: Wifi wasn't very good. Our room (310) was at the top of the stairs from the lobby and as a result there was a lot of noise from the lobby. Fortunately it was quiet at night so it didn't affect our sleep. A proper double bed would have been nice, rather than separate twin beds next to each other.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: It’s very charming and stylish hotel. We had perfect stay. Staff very helpful and friendly. Very clean. Dinner was amazing.
Cons: Beds are not very comfortable.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff very friendly and hotel was very clean and looked after
Cons: If i had to be really picky the Toilet roll could have been better quality but that really is struggling to find anything we disliked!
Hotel Rh Casablanca & Suites - Peníscola - Building

8,8 Excellent (2 550 reviews)
R1 114+
Overview Reviews

Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
6,3 Good
Pros: The staff were great, Jorge at the front desk stood out in particular, he was very professional and a really nice guy. Michelle who works at the bar was lovely and very attentive. Rooms were very clean and spacious.
Cons: The room were very clean and comfortable but the sound proofing has a lot to be desired. We could hear everything that was being spoken in the next room and didn’t have a good nights sleep because of it. The food was average and we didn’t feel like we got value for money, I would eat elsewhere and go room only. Its a 20 minute bus ride from the main town so if you want to be in the heart of the town this isn’t the hotel for you.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Nice place to stay next to the beach. We visited in April it’s not a beach season yet but still it was nice.
Cons: WiFi didn’t really work well.
7,5 Good
Pros: The front staff are wonderful. Great location.
Cons: Traveling alone, the dining room wait staff often asked me to take the small round table in the middle of the dining room. Being alone, I did not appreciate having to sit in the middle of all the families. I felt like everyone can see I was my myself, and it made me feel uncomfortable. I would have preferred to have the option to sit by the perimeter of the room.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Very clean inside and out and the pool area was immaculate. Breakfast was very good. I recommend you learn a little Spanish as this is a very Spanish hotel! Bar prices were very cheap and the surrounding bars and restaurants were even cheaper. Think €1.50 for glass of wine or una cana!
Cons: The hotel was 80% Spanish old folk who were very noisy and a little rude. More like an old folks home to be honest. Entertainment was also very Spanish so don’t expect any tributes or English language music, but expect lots of line dancing and waltzing! Parking is also very secure but €8 a night.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent stay we had here. Great value for money, great staff, great everything!
Cons: breakfast saloon was a bit too crowded
6,8 Good
Pros: breakfast 's good, lots of choices
Cons: insufficient staff of counter,(only one there) have to wait for a long time for checking in.

Pros: Hotel room

Pros: This is an excellent hotel in a very convenient location and secure parking on site. Everything was of top quality and the staff amazing, making sure everyone was very well looked after. Cons: -
9,3 Excellent
Cons: Breakfast was chaotic, too few tables and unfriendly manageress
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Great pool and area around pool was amazing. Room held 4 of us comfortably, in a place like Peniscola you don’t want to spend much time in your room anyway. Great location, close to a grocery store and a 3 minute walk to beach.
Cons: Breakfast buffet
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Lovely breakfast, good and helpfully staff, comfortable good sized rooms.
Cons: Not much view from room.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: This is a lovely welcoming hotel where guests are truly spoiled with amazing buffet breakfasts, lunches and dinners at incredibly reasonable prices. Very comfortable and relaxing. The hotel is in a quiet location and the beach and town are barely 5 mins walk away. The hotel has an attractive pool and sun terrace. We have stayed twice and plan to return next year.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Room was excellent Food very good
Cons: A little more than 3 minutes from beach . Not a problem but should read 10 minutes. But that sums up the hotel because that's all we could find wrong with stay
8,8 Excellent
Pros: It was close to the beach and restaurants
Cons: The hotel is a bit old... it could do with a bit a refurbishing.

Pros: Clean room, friendly staff.
Cons: One night there was an event (party) at the restaurant in the basement. It was very loud and made it very hard to sleep.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: We spent one night at the pension, part of the camping. Very friendly staff, new room furniture with TV and air conditioning, properly clean, large bathroom, comfy bed and pillows, nice balcony. Free parking area. Free access to the camping (showers, toilets and swimming pool). Only 15 min by foot from seaside and old city centre.
Cons: Suggestion: the cafe/bar at the entrance could improve the service for visitors too.
6,8 Good
Pros: Spacious room, great location.
Cons: Bed not comfortable for my partner and pillow too hard (like a brick!!) though staff did change this straight away.
7,5 Good
Pros: Very clean
Cons: No one at reception to check in. Wandered around for ages. Then found a phone number then receptionist appeared.she gave us the wrong code for wifi, so no wifi as she disappeared again. No one at reception to check out so had to leave key in room. Wanted to pay cash but couldnt.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel ticked all the boxes for us. It was as described. Rooms were a good size, bathrooms and balcony large. The staff were great. Friendly. Room was cleaned every day to a high standard. Parking looked a drama as the bar was busy but we were told to park in a camping spot which was perfect! Air con was efficient and needed in the August heat. The bar below was lively and very much a local's place. This was great for food and atmosphere. Some people might think that the bar was noisy from their rooms, but I'd suggest if you book a small hotel above a bar in Spain, then there will be noise. However, it always ended around midnight and the shutter really blocked the sounds too. We didn't use the pool as we were a ten minute easy walk to the South beach which we loved. However p, the pool is definitely another asset and never seemed overly crowded even in August. Overall, this place is exactly what we expected and we loved our stay.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Lovely little room for the night. I normally stay at the campsite there so knew the location was good. Room is like new.

9,5 Excellent
Pros: Stopped for one night in Peñíscola. Hotel location is great, one foot on the beach and one foot in the old town. Public parking within 5 min from hotel (paid from 10am - 2am) on Calle Molino. Comfortable bed, sea-view and balcony, an unbelievable value for money. We considered to stay further away from the old town in a hotel with more amenities, very glad we didn't.
Cons: Breakfast is reflective of low cost, croissants were dry and juice was artificial tasting. There were other choices at the buffet so we didn't leave hungry, but i gladly would pay a little more for some better choices.

Cons: Very dated and could be cleaner.

Pros: This small hotel is in a superb location to explore the Peniscola town and castle and appreciate the beauty of the bay and beaches. We felt very welcome and comfortable throughout our stay.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: This small hotel is in a fantastic location, between the old town on the peninsula and the mainland. Check in was quite easy and we parked our car in the public parking behind the hotel for about€9 for an afternoon and night. The room was clean and comfortable.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Nice basic breakfast on the terrace with sea views. Extremaly nice staff. Would be great if they served cheese and eggs.
Cons: It's a bit noisy. Apart from that our stay was perfect!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Didn't have breakfast. Room was clean light and airy. We needed an early morning taxi (6.30am). The male member of staff kindly arranged this for us.
9,3 Excellent
Pros: Amazing location just accross the road from the beach and promenade. very clean. very friendly staff. very cheap.
Cons: out of season, they do not have the cafee open so had to wonder down the road for breakfast. was ok, but the place we ended up in was not too great.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Super beachfront location, lovely hotel - makes us rethink one star ratings! Rooftop breakfast with views of castle memorable. Ruth in reception was exceptionally helpful sorting out parking directly outside and explaining the meter system, which is not expensive. All staff were very friendly. The balcony with sea view rooms are well worth the extra. We would definitely return.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The stuff was very nice and helpful- they helped us with the luggage and ordered the taxi. The location is on point!
Cons: The size of a room.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Location and secure parking
9,5 Excellent
Pros: We had a room with a lovely balcony overlooking the beach. The room was basic but comfortable. Breakfast was very good, liked that they supplied a kettle to make tea instead of water from a machine. Lovely to sit outside and eat breakfast. They had a very good restaurant with other good restaurants a short walk away if you turn left outside the property away from the castle. A long walk to the castle but you can catch the bus with just one fare, think it was 1.50 euro.
Cons: A seperate seating area for hotel guests to relax outside rather than in the restaurant.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel exceeded my expectations. I was given a very warm welcome and the room was spotless. Breakfast was good and the location was close to the beach and the ancient castle which is well worth exploring for its history and restaurants
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Cosy small and beautiful hotel between huge apartment towers.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Nice location. Very nice stuff. Good value for your money.
5,5 Okay
Pros: The staff were nice
Cons: The room was expensive for a family of four not a couple . It was not Delux .
7,5 Good
Pros: The staff were helpful and pleasant. The hotel has parking for 7 Euros a night and the location right on the seafront was great. We ate our evening meal at their restaurant and it was lovely.
Cons: The breakfast was overpriced and there was not very much choice and finding plates bowls etc was not straight forward.
9,3 Excellent
Pros: Great family run hotel. Good breakfast with lovely staff. Very clean with parking available at a reasonable cost. Beachfront .
Cons: Nothing
Pensión Casa Juanita - Peníscola - Building

8,5 Excellent (663 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Pensión Casa Juanita in Peniscola, you'll be just steps from Portal fosc and Church of the Virgen del Socorro.
9,3 Excellent
Pros: The location is absolutely perfect! The view from our balcony/window was gorgeous. You are within a few minute walk to both the beach and the castle. Water pressure was also very good. Quiet at night. And the staff/host was super sweet.
Cons: It's a basic room- has everything you need, just don't expect anything extra or fancy. There are stairs to walk up if you have a lot of luggage. We went with a car and you do have to park about a 7 minute walk away, so if you have a lot of luggage it may be rough, but it was honestly worth it for the gorgeous location. (parking cost us about 8 euros per day or somewhere around there if you spend the whole day parked. We just paid for an afternoon and morning because nights are free.)
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location.
Cons: It would be good to have an electric kettle and tea, coffee, sugar and milk in the room.
7,5 Good
Pros: Great location and lovely view over water.
Cons: Would be great to have thicker curtains to block a little more light
6,8 Good
Pros: The hostal basically met our expectations, especially as the price was inexpensive compared to other properties fairly similar. The location, accessible on foot only (so be prepared to roll or backpack your luggage up the cobbles) was not that far from the parking area below the castle and promontory. (We parked in the large lot near the fair and festival rides.) Casa Juanita is right in the oldest part of the walled fortress making it a scenic location, but earplugs might be needed if you need sleep before 1 am.
Cons: Unfortunately, after nearly a month of travel we had our first lodging disappointment here. The directions given to me via email from the proprietors was not clear and was somewhat misdirecting. If not for our persistence, we would have circled the building 3 times and not been sure how to get in. (push the buzzer on the intercom and then they come down to meet you - there is no front desk). The noise from the street and other guests made sleep a little difficult. In addition, we are pretty sure that this was the place where my husband got bed bug bites.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Simple, clean, comfortable, authentic, well situated, inexpensive and no fuss. Just what I was looking for.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Small but cute room, great view of the bay. Didn't expect a small fridge in the room but excellent to have one. Friendly host.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The location of the property was fabulous - we had a car and found it easy to find a place to park not too far away. Would highly recommend.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The room is in the very historical centre (within medieval walls), with a magnificent view. Just a few corners to the castle. The landlady is very open, quick and kind.
Cons: No air condition. You have to leave your car on public parking close to the sea, approx. 300m to the place (the historical area is not accessible and close parking areas are always occupied). Parkings in all the big part of the town are paid till 2.00 a.m
7,5 Good
Pros: Location, cleaning
Cons: To small room, no chair, no table
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Its a very nice place with brilliant views, clean and comfortable.
Cons: maybe a bit moor information on car parking i.e. show the main public car park on the map.

Pros: Overall we were happy and had a good time, however, we would like to see or recommend to have the following: Coffee station in the room Some basic snacks and drinks in the room Other pool table due that then existing one was busy all time Going in and out to the parking with a baby’s trolley was a bit difficult.
Cons: Overall we were happy and had a good time, however, we would like to see or recommend to have the following: Coffee station in the room Some basic snacks and drinks in the room Other pool table due that then existing one was busy all time Going in and out to the parking with a baby’s trolley was a bit difficult.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Location very good, right next to the beach, although it is a long way from the main town of Peniscola, but there are buses. The room was huge with 2 large double beds, and a large lovely bathroom. In the summer it would be great as there are lovely outdoor swimming pools. Lovely balcony with table and chairs, overlooking the sea. The Italian Trattoria was excellent, and the food was top quality, and service great.
Cons: The choice of food in the dinner buffet was good, but the actual food was not good, and generally overcooked. There were several things broken in our room - 2 lamp shades damaged, and 1 table lamp not working at all, with a broken plug, and these were never changed during our stay. The lighting in the room made it very dark, and it could have done with a centre ceiling light, or a light on the wall between the 2 beds. In the winter, no swimming facility at all. There is a spa, which costs 14 Euros for 90 minutes, but there is no swimming pool.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: The most comfortable pillows I ever slept on. Beautiful and generous size suite.
Cons: Not a baby friendly balcony:(
7,0 Good
Pros: Beautiful beach and nice room size.
Cons: Stay away from the half/full board meal package! Crowded restaurants, not pleasant at all! In addition, you pay for everything - including pool towels! Hotel is crowded, noisy, busy... Not a place to relax.
9,3 Excellent
Pros: Lovely hotel, excellent room - we had a suite - food was fresh, hot and varied, bar prices very reasonable and the red and white house wine very good quality. There’s a flat, paved walkway along the seafront into town, about five kilometres away. It’s a very Spanish hotel, although the reception staff speak English.
Cons: Too far away from the town to walk to.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Size, location to the beach, facilities.
Cons: Everything is fine. Todo bien.
10,0 Excellent

Cons: Full of families with young children

8,0 Excellent
Pros: We didn’t eat in the hotel restaurant although we thought the menu was good. The location was perfect and the room was spotless.
Cons: The room was very small and offered nowhere to dry “smalls” and swimwear. We had a constant battle with the keycard which never worked until after many tries.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Location and staff - helpful and friendly
5,5 Okay
Pros: Breakfast okay and people nice in the restaurant. The hotel deserted for people.
Cons: No people available after midnight. Our daughter vomited all over the place and there were no one to find anywhere in the hotel. No answer on telephone even including "urgency" number (busy for 15 minutes). Only after very long time going out and buzzing the door bell someone finally showed up. Room was very small and bed more so for 3 people.
5,8 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: Small rooms , low attitude from staffs, uncomfortable bed.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Hotel is very well located only few steps from the lovely beach and old town. Rooms are basic but spotlessly clean (rooms are cleaned each day) and functional with air conditioning. All the staff we met were friendly and helpful although speaking only Spanish. Breakfast was very basic but adequate what you pay for the room. Hotel can arrange a private parking for you at good price. If you are looking for basic hotel close to everything I can recommend Tio Pepe.
Cons: No balcony and no place for drying your wet stuff. Mini fridge would be also handy.
8,8 Excellent

6,8 Good
Pros: Opposite beach, nice pool, good breakfast
Cons: Small rooms, poor shower, no conditioner provided, strange in a 4 star hotel, very overpriced for a plain modern hotel with no character - better alternatives nearer town centre

Cons: Nothing
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Excellent shower in the Bathroom
Cons: Cheaper bar prices
5,5 Okay
Pros: The pool and the staff, good coffee, very clean rooms.
Cons: The seating was very poor, if you where tall it was better to sit on the extra bed in your room. Could not get a bottle of Cava with your meal the said they had run out for 3 nights. The hotel only caters for mainly Spanish and Dutch , so have some knowlege of Spanish. The hotel is old and not a 4star it would not make a 3star hotel in Uk. I felt sorry for the smiling staff if it was not for them the whole holiday would have been awful.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Good location Excellent service Staff with excellent treatment. It's worth to knowing it, our congratulations

9,1 Excellent
Pros: Very clean Lovely pools Good size accommodation Nice staff Seperare smoking area
Cons: Evening dinner would not recommend it really let's place down otherwise would be near perfect
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable bed. Nice breakfast. Nice staff. Nice dinner. Very clean.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Easy stop for one night, very good breakfast, lots of choice.
9,3 Excellent
Pros: Clean, enough space, well worth the price
Cons: No cooking pans
9,5 Excellent
Pros: The room was very nice, clean, with a nice terrace. Large beds. All details are of good quality. I don't understand why it only has 3 stars.
Cons: It is a little bit far from the peninsula/castle area - some 20-25 walking minutes to the castle area
8,0 Excellent
Cons: The bed mattress was not so comfortable
7,5 Good
Pros: Hotel was spotless
Cons: Kitchen utensils should have been in room rather than asking for pots from reception
9,3 Excellent
Pros: the location, also, the fact that it has a kitchenette and that it's a cozy place
Cons: the parking is not included in the price of the room
9,5 Excellent
Pros: The pools were never crowded and it was always possible to get a sun bed. Air con in room very effective and not too noisy.
Cons: Breakfast was a bit 'cafeteria' - pastries were cold (can put through toaster though) and didn't have any 'flake' or lightness. Sliced bread for toaster, really cheap jam etc. Would have liked soya yoghurt as well as soya milk on offer and would really have appreciated more fruit - only oranges and apples available. Staff provided cooking pans on request, no kettle (! I know that's an 'English' request but makes boiling water so much easier and no mugs in room, just small glasses which weren't great for tea)
9,3 Excellent
Pros: The room was spotless, much larger than many, and very-well appointed. Aircon worked well, and we could have imagined that the room would be ideal for a longer holiday stay. Staff warm and friendly. Breakfast good. Although on the corner of a main road and busy roundabout, traffic noise was minimal. Underground, on-site parking.
Cons: A little soul-less, but well-presented throughout. The central open area acted like an amplifier to people talking there, especially the large group who gathered there the night we stayed, keeping us awake, as the noise was very loud. Having to pay 10 euros extra for car-parking is a touch unnecessary, we feel. Why not have a 1st-come, 1st-served free parking for hotel guests? The garage was virtually empty, anyway.

Cons: Internet virtually non existent. English tv channels on tv but no signal. Poor room maintenance. All food generally cold.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: A good choice of food dinner and breakfast. The rooms were enormous 2 double double bed rooms and lounge kitchen 2 bath rooms. Very light and airy. One minuet to the beach and 10 minuets to the castle which is worth a visit for the views alone.
Cons: Paying for parking. A very old and small TV.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable . The breakfast and the super had plenty variety. There is worthy to stay for vacation
8,3 Excellent
Pros: We were upgraded to a bigger room with a terrace, which was a nice surprise (even though we couldn't use the terrace because of the rain!). The hotel looks smart and the receptionist was very helpful. We had no water in our room but this was fixed within minutes of reporting the issue.
Cons: The restaurant was very disappointing and really let the hotel down. As we visited off-season, there were very few restaurants open in the town for dinner so we opted for the hotel buffet. It was a big mistake. At 18€ each it wasn't cheap or expensive, but drinks were extra, and once tasted was a waste of money! The food was bland and what was meant to be hot was cold, made worse by having to put it on cold plates. We hoped to have a better experience at breakfast, which was included in the overnight price, but this was also disappointingly cold. I hate wasting food but neither of us could eat cold eggs, bacon, sausages and beans. We filled up on toast but the jam/marmalade was cheap individual catering pots and was disgusting. The pastries were OK but needed to be dipped in coffee Spanish-style to make them edible. A shame because the hotel itself was very nice.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The room was much more spacious than we had expected and had a large terrace. But unfortunately the weather (a very severe thunderstorm) made it impossible for us to use it.
Cons: The air conditioning would not warm the room so we were quite cold for most of our stay. Also, the sliding door out on to the terrace from the bathroom leaked during the heaviest of the rain.
9,3 Excellent
Pros: The location was great near to beach,, restaurants and Peniscola walled town. The bar waa ok and the rooms clean and comfy. Parking was secure underground. .
Cons: This is a huge hotel but seemed to be ok. The rooms at the back had no view. Breakfast was chaos with a Butlins feel. Queues for everything but food ok.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The room was very comfortable and spacious, especially with the larger balcony. The reception area of the hotel was airy and peaceful and the pools were great
Cons: Although it is wonderful to have the facilty of a spa, I could not believe I had to pay €10 for what was described as a Children´s Spa. It was a shallow pool with cold water, a slide and some water spraying. It is designed only for the youngest of children and should be freely available to guests - it is not worth charging for.
6,3 Good
Pros: We could get our room an hour before check-in time.
Cons: Indoor pool is not working in the summer. Restaurant is totally not prepared for vegetarians.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Location is great, parking garage is massive,
Cons: We had a suite, with kitchenette, but no cups, plates, cutlery, cooking pots or pans, no kettle, and no tea or coffee making facilities, I would not book a suite again without utensils to make drinks or food, it said mini bar included, but it was a full size fridge that was empty,
