The hotel and rooms were clean, organized, and overall comfortable. The valet service and bell hops were prompt, and helpful. We enjoyed the pool and cabana area.
Marijuana smoke and smell blew into our rooms (we were a group staying in multiple rooms spread out across the 6th floor) from the a/c vents for our entire stay but especially strong in the evenings. The first night, it got so bad that the fire alarms sounded at 2:23am and the entire hotel had to be evacuated. We had to evacuate with our 7 month old baby, 3 year old toddler, and 8 and 11 year old children. Upon evacuation, some hotel staff in the lobby laughed it off and commented about how they “should have done something about it before it got this bad”. The following day, our party called the desk and spoke in person to management multiple times about continued smoke entering our rooms. Nothing was ever done about it and staff never even followed up. On several occasions, staff did not answer our communications at all. If we did not have the babies with us, we would have just packed everything and left on the second night. We were extremely dissatisfied with our stay and completely disappointed as we chose DoubleTree for its reputation of quality and service. This is the first poor review I am leaving for a hotel in my entire life. Had the staff been helpful in this situation, I would have left it alone. Our entire stay was ruined by the smell of smoke and the inconvenience of evacuation for something that could have been prevented. HORRIBLE/lack of response to an ongoing problem during our stay.
The hotel was conveniently located in an area I could walk and get something to eat. Room service and staff were very nice and the room was clean.

Valet parking was rude. My wife was getting our newborn out of the van and I was checking in and they made us go to the parking lot to unload. It was 11pm so not many people were unloading either. At checkin the staff was distracted with their personal behaviors which made others wait.
Very clean and excellent staff. Beds were very comfortable and room was modern. The bar was great and it overlooked the pool so we could keep an eye on the kids.
Our room didn't have a mini fridge and the breakfast was not free.

Comfortable Orlando Airport Hotel
Rooms were very comfortable, and spacious. Nice work desk with outlets and comfortable chair and a coffee maker. Everything worked, lights, TV, fixtures. Airport transportation was convenient and efficient. No airplane noise was heard in my north facing room. Other shopping, restaurants were a short walk away. Overall a well maintained property.
