A really friendly hotel in a lovely quiet area. The breakfast was excellent, as was the dinner. We're were catered for in everything we asked and the hotel room was comfy and clean. Rodder is a nice quite village with the larger Adenau only a 10 minute drive away and the wonderful Nurburgring only a bit further still. I would highly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning soon.
The owners were friendly and very helpful with places to walk and visit. Breakfast was very good, plenty unless you're very fussy. Evening meals were excellent. Even though the Eifelstube is in a tiny village with no other amenities there, we would definately stay there again as rooms are very clean and comfortable and you're made to feel so welcome.
The friendliness of hotel owners & good advice of where to go etc.The food was excellent & room was good
Very cozy large house. Great staff. Very quiet accommodation.
Expect this to be a Bed n Breakfast, not a hotel. The rooms are small and the appointments are expected for a country home.
Location was Excellent,Restaurant was first class along with the local atmosphere which made me feel welcome.
Friendly staff. Peaceful location.
Small hotel, in small village with 250 inhabitants, about 10 minutes ride away from the Nurburgring, run by young couple who were very good hosts. What was a surprise was the quality of the food, cooked by the husband, best meal we had in the whole 2 weeks away and we had stayed in much more expensive hotels too. The rooms were very clean and of a good size. The hosts were very knowledgeable about the area and happy to impart local info that was of use to us. The area is not well known as a destination, but the Eiffel area of Germany is very picturesque basically a continuation of the Ardenne forest in Belgium, with lots of walking trails.
extremely quiet place; very nice landscape; excellent meals
bad air ventilation in the bathroom; it smelled a little bit mouldy
Probably the best hotel service I have received in Europe! I was delayed in Frankfurt, so I did not arrive until 22:00. The staff were welcoming and cooked a hot meal for me, even though the kitchen was meant to be closed. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was ready for me as soon as I arrived downstairs, a beautiful breakfast a great selection and choice of food and drink. Even though I speak little German, all staff and guests were very friendly.
Wireless internet access was not compatible with my (old) laptop. I am guessing that they either use WPA encryption or 54Mbit/s speed. Both of which don't work with my machine. A minor inconvenience, but not too bad since I only stayed one night.
Nice place, nice staff, very good breakfasts
No internet connection in the room, quite far from everywhere (but it is also positive)
