The Hotel had overlooked our reservation - however we were told not to worry they would sort it out and indeed they did. We had a lovely room (probably better than the one we had booked) and all in all it was a very enjoyable stay. The hotel is ideally placed for the mansions and indeed not too far from the centre of town
We were happy with everything
The breakfast served is outstanding. Rain Shower head was wonderful and the water was consistently hot.
The facilities are dated and many minor maintenance issues deferred for an unknown reason: such as a broken toilet seat, torn curtains, broken window blinds, and lightbulbs burnt out in the lamps. Inadequate outlets for today’s requirement for electronic devices. Also, in high season the noise level from cars and Hotel Viking guests across the street make it for a restless night if you intend to sleep before 2 am in the morning.
The Inn was very nice and the breakfasts were awesome. We enjoyed the afternoon wine, cheese and crackers as well as the homemade chocolate chip cookies.
We both thought the breakfast was excellent. They have fresh fruit, yogurt, pastries, juices every morning and 2 entries per day. We had banana pancakes, eggs benedict, and a strata. Don't let me forget the home fries. All was delicious and they baked fresh cookies for the afternoon. I will definitely go back again. They also have their own parking lot. The convenience of the parking lot to the property was perfect.
not clean had to ask for bathroom and rug to be cleaned disgusting
