Pros: We loved everything. Susannah and Marcus couldn’t have been friendlier and more accommodating both before and during our overnight stay and on arrival we had the warmest welcome ever. The house is fantastic and our suite was beautiful with very luxurious furnishings and amenities. Our little dog was treated like royalty and able to go anywhere in room due to appropriate throws/ bedcovers put in for purpose. Susannah gave us detailed and honest information about the area and the breakfast was amazing. The apple juice and fruit grown by the family is beautiful. We hope to return and would recommend to anyone.

Pros: Absolutely gorgeous room at the top of the house. Very comfy bed. The breakfast wasn't as great as we'd hoped; perhaps we'd just got an off day or two. But very friendly and would definitely stay again.

Pros: I Loved the room, the log burner a real nice touch, with open beams and a large bathroom. Not too hot. Not too cold! The owners are very friendly and lovely and make you feel like family. I certainly did. The breakfast is excellent using locally sourced produce where possible and great coffee. For those with a electric vehicle with a type 2 charge port, I was getting 23kw hour charge on my tesla and it is not on the road but in the drive and secure. Highly recommended and I stay in many hotels but have never felt so at home or welcomed as this b&b. Will visit again.

Pros: Good location
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Location was good for the Town Centre, in a quiet back street. The postcode doesn't match the exact location so a little difficult to locate, best to call in advance for guidance. Good car parking on site. Reception good and friendly/informal. Taken to room which is good. Room pleasant, clean, but dimly lit, need lamp upgrade. Bed comfortable, bathroom modern with bath and shower over bath. Toiletries provided. Toiket roll holder (in this room) awkwardly positioned adjacent to toilet making it difficult to sit. Towels big enough. Tea and coffee avail as usual, overall good. Breakfast cooked to order and good. Sausages too"Herby" for me. Tea water is too cold, served from cafetiere warmer. Coffee is good. Bar not used but attractive. I will stay here again, no hesitation.
Cons: See above.

7,9 Good
Pros: Orangery area was lovely. This was used for dining & bar area. Everything was spotless. Free parking. Pleasant staff. Great location.
Cons: Bed was uncomfortable. Rooms a bit tired. We stayed the second weekend in January, there was a lack of staff and in particular no evening chef. This was disappointing. Hotel should notify guests of this prior to arrival.

Pros: Staff were very pleasant and it was all very easy.
Cons: 3 cups would have been nice as there were 3 of us but I could have gone and asked so that's being picky.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Cosy warm bedroom, very spacious. Big bathroom. Comfortable beds. And great award winning Indian food in lovely restaurant.
Cons: Only small down side (which could be an up side for some travelling on the A1) is that it's pretty close to the A1! But not overly bad traffic noise.

Cons: the bar and dining toom could be softened, brighter, more welcoming
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Car park could accommodate trailer
5,0 Okay
Pros: The room was beautiful and the bed very comfortable, good shower. Beautifully clean.
Cons: The hotel were happy to have me bring a dog but there was nowhere she could go with me, not even to sit under the table while I had my supper in the empty bar. Breakfast was disappointing, the room service supper average but sounded fabulous.
5,0 Okay
Pros: staff were good, location great for what we needed and the food we had was also good quality.
Cons: our room and bathroom smelt of mold and damp. the bathroom was not pleasant to be in. mold on the walls, floor and loose tiles. on a cold night we slept with the windows slightly open due to the smell. our room was in the coach house.
6,0 Good
Cons: No outside lights in the courtyard which was exceptionally dark when you had to walk over to the main house and slippy due to a lot of leaf fall. Fire alarm triggered by kitchen in the evening went off, went outside as fire regs dictate nobody anywhere else to be seen had to walk to main house and go in to enquire as no one came out to tell guests it was false alarm, and phone in room did not work. At breakfast I sat for 10 minutes waiting for staff in an empty room from 7.10am before I could place order and had to go and chase them I a had meeting. No pastries despite advertising continental breakfast. Had to order Coffee and toast as not enough time for anything else.
5,0 Okay
Pros: Location for the purpose of our visit. Impressive external appearance of hotel but sadly this wasn’t matched by the overall experience of staying here, especially as we were supposedly in a ‘superior’ room. The staff were pleasant but failed to answer the issue of inadequate external lighting issue mentioned below.
Cons: Our room was in the Coach House annex reached by crossing an unlit driveway in darkness. The annex had a number of outside lights which were never on during hours of darkness so very badly illuminated. Even after drawing attention to this to a member of staff, this made no difference. Our room (10) had a heavy smell of new paint which was always present even with wide open windows which made the room cold. The en-suite bathroom floor tiles were loose and wobbly - in short a health & trip hazard! Disliked having to cross to main building sometimes in darkness &/or heavy rain. Poor value for money!

Pros: Really liked the interior and breakfast in the conservatory ... very friendly and lovely morning before my daughters graduation ceremony in Lincoln.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Our room the Versailles was amazing and we had a great nights sleep. We loved the originality and quirkiness of the place, and of course the owners Carol and Roger. If you are looking for something different and not your usual hotel chain then this is the place.
4,2 Okay

Cons: Everything
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything that you could imagine you might need was provided. Very interesting house with wonderful welcoming owners.
Cons: All good
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Very quirky - no shower but a bath - hadn't had a bath for years! Wonderful continental breakfast.
7,9 Good
Pros: We stayed 2 nights to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary. On arrival Carole greeted us with a warm welcome and asked us what time we would like our continental breakfast the following morning. Carole gave us a brief tour of the house before showing us to our room. We stayed in Versailles which was a delight and housed a comfortable bed. Tea and coffee making facilities were available which included fruit tea, tea and cappuccino sachets and 2 roses chocolates. The next morning we had our breakfast on the terrace accompanied by Tinkerbell the cat who was very friendly (I love cats!). Carole had thoughtfully got us a card for our anniversary and took photos of us. The house is amazingly quirky and peaked our curiosity. I loved the purple carpet and the opulent surroundings. Carole is a very chatty host and nothing is too much trouble for her. The house is immaculately clean - not an easy task with so much memorabilia and decoration. Priory house is an escape from the real world and offers many many different things to look at. Long Bennington is delightful village which houses 3 pubs within walking distance and a co-op. Top Tip - no pubs in the village serve food on a Monday but there is a fantastic chippy and Indian take away.
Cons: On arrival we were concerned about the proximity to A1, but the noise was low-level background noise. Such high standards have been set by the interior , which raises expectations of the quality of food unfortunately this was not parallel. This may be harsh criticism such is the standard of the B&B.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Cottage was fantastic quirky but very comfortable.
Cons: Wifi is available but the signal in the cottage was poor.
