We loved the laid back vibe and the intimacy of the public spaces. It has a great street facing terrace and a private intimate courtyard garden out back. Complimenting the laid back vibe are the staff who are friendly and professional and helped make our stay so memorable.
Beds - that’s it !
Light was not bright to put makeup on or get ready. Calling the main number to get to front desk Felt like we were in the attic of an Old house It took the bar 15 minutes to add hot water to a tea bag - really silly system
we liked location-check in-check out- nice TV-nice robes- clean and nice bathroom-king bed-quiet room by the courtyard-nice smilling staff
not clean to our expectations- uncomfortable bed with feather topping-no netflix-no amazon entertainment-old and stuffy- need a big clean! no room in the fridge cause packed with expensive mini bar drinks-water $6-
The staff was exceptional. Loved Ingo's vibe and the private courtyard for taking coffee. The bed was incredibly comfortable. Amazing wallpaper. Cute complimentary bicycles. And not a single dirty look at my pup. Would love to stay again!
Wish they had coffee makers in the rooms or some complimentary coffee, but they did have a cafe in the lobby.
Location, room, (although we would have preferred brighter lights - but most hotels seem to keep rooms on the darker side), cleanliness, amenities, staff. A fuller menu at the outside bar/café would be great. Only snacks are offered.
Chelsea is one of the more interesting and unique neighborhoods on Manhattan. The historic High Line Hotel dates back to the mid nineteenth century and exemplifies the stunning history of the area. The 60-guest room has a feeling of peace and tranquility that is hard to find in the bustling borough.
Seeking to hearken to the past, the rooms at the High Line Hotel feel classically elegant and comfortable. Filled with natural light, the rooms are bright, which makes the hardwood floors and locally sourced furniture pop. Standard rooms range from 200 to 300 square feet and are well appointed with luxury bedding, complimentary Wi-Fi, and deluxe bath amenities. The signature room at the hotel is the High Line Suite, showcasing a library and decorative fireplace.
Dedicated to guests enjoying the charms of Chelsea, the hotel offers free Shinola bicycles. These bikes are perfect for enjoying the surroundings, including the landmark Hudson River Park. Dogs are allowed in every room of the hotel so they can perfect for the excursions to the park. Back at the hotel, there are entertainment options as well, including a show every weekend by The Enigmatist, certain to bedazzle guests.
The High Line also offers a gourmet Intelligentsia coffee service from a classic Citroen truck. After the coffee service ends, The Bar at the High Line Hotel opens ready to offer guests craft cocktails.
Beautifully in tune with Chelsea’s history, the High Line Hotel offers relaxation amidst the hustle and bustle.
