Breakfast was excellent with wide variety of food. Staff very friendly. Room was clean.
Really liked the feel and decor of the hotel and rooms. Clean. Comfortable. Complimentary breakfast was nice
Much smaller than photos make it out to be. No real dining area for dinner etc and quite dark everywhere, no outside space to sit and no bar area. Expected a little more friendly ness from the staff too.
Great location few steps away from the Chelsea Market and the Highline !
Very few services
This marine-theme hotel is conveniently located if you aim to visit the Memorial plaza or High Line. Rooms are relatively small, but there is enough space to reload your luggages for the next day flight. Room was clean and nicely equipped with everything small and useful, but no coffee machine. You were able to open the round window to get air, which was great. Central air conditioning was so quiet that you first thought it being faulty, but no - it was working fine. Lobby was just one space with a fireplace at the end. Bookshelves, chairs and tables & reception. Simple breakfast was served in the same lobby. No restaurant or separate room. Discount to parking next door was offered - remember to take that.
You have to pull luggage from the street via stairs to the lobby-space. Hotel reception personnel was ready to do that for you, so no complains. It is just the arrangement - no elevators from street level. Form our window, there was a straight view to street-level restaurant - I think it is the same you see in Maritime Hotel official pictures. Didn't visit there, but had to listen to the loud music coming from that place. Not for us. Be aware of the next-door-parking. Prices mount to 70 USD per 24h if you forget to take discount sticker from hotel reception.
The most comfortable bed ever, decent sized rooms, and excellent service.
The hotel was much better when Tao wasn't there, and the restaurant was under construction
