Pros: Fantastic and authentic stay - very clean, great breakfast and meeting locals to get to know about the area is very unique. You cant ask for more. Definiatly a recommendation!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The owners of this very romantic boutique hotel could not have been more welcoming and accommodating. Everything was absolutely spectacular!!! Our room was spacious and lovely and had a spectacular view. We had the room on the top floor which had it's own little veranda where we relaxed in the evening sipping on a glass of wine as we took in the beautiful view after a full day of sightseeing and shopping adventures The breakfast each morning was absolutely amazing! I had broken my foot 3 weeks before our amazing trip to Greece and was still in a boot/cast upon our arrival to this lovely hotel. At the end of our first day of adventures my foot was swollen when we returned back to the hotel. Our amazing host went out of his way to locate a plastic Ziploc bag and filled it with ice so I could put it on my foot. On the day of our departure we had to leave very early in the morning long before the normal breakfast serving time. Once again, our host was so accommodating they made sure they brought us some wonderful Greek yogurt, honey and walnuts and some piping hot coffee to start off our day. I just can't say enough good things about this amazing hotel. I would absolutely recommend this hotel!!! I hope to make it back again someday!!! Sue and Arthur Hunt
Cons: The only very small negative was parking our car since the hotel is located in the middle of the town. We had to park a few minutes walk away but since the town was so lovely, it wasn't a big deal... Again, nothing I would really ding them on. We loved our stay there!

Pros: Wonderful hosts and staff!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Akis and his mother were the best hosts I've had in a long time. Really personable, helpful, and provided extensive advice that helped us get the most out of our trip. I don't normally write reviews, but wanted to try to do something to let others know that this places exceptional reviews are very well deserved. We rented the top room in the hotel, which has it's own patio, which was definitely worth it. Breakfast was amazing!
Cons: Nothing.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: In middle of town with access to everything. Lots of helpful information given. Beautiful breakfast
Cons: You have to park outside, but the hotel will arrange to meet you to help with luggage transfer
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly hotel keeper, very nice atmosphere in the hotel, very claen rooms, excellent breakfast, individual requests were fulfilled immediately, great location in the beautiful old town of Nafplio. Absolutely recommendable hotel.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Caring informed briefing on arrival, comfy room and perhaps the best breakfast ever at a hotel
10,0 Excellent
Pros: A friend recommended this gem to us and it lived up to the hype. Our GPS took us to the wrong street that was a dead end (use google maps instead!) so I walked to the hotel and Akis came back with me, jumped in the car, backed it up, drove it to the port where we could park and helped us walk our suitcases back to the hotel. At that point, he was already family! The breakfasts had so much food we couldn't eat it, but never fear for when we started to leave for the day, his mom had packed up some of the spanakopita and cheese pies to take with us. A perfect bed & breakfast that is deserving of every great review it gets. We will definitely be back!

Pros: Outstanding small hotel with wonderful hosts! Large and clean room. Very good wifi. Excellent breakfast. Very helpful and friendly staff (owners). The location is perfect as it is in the centre of the old town.
Cons: Everything was great!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: This was one of our best hotels in Greece,. Everything about this stay was perfect! Napflio is a very beautiful town. The location was in the centre of the old town. The room was beautiful, clean and large. The breakfast was excellent. The hosts were wonderful people-so helpful and friendly.
Cons: Everything was perfect for us.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff, location, home cooking for breakfast(own selection of jams, pies ,eggs from own hens, orange juice made to order)Lots of helpful suggestions for trips and restaurants.Beautiful large room and bathroom

Cons: The rooms were very dark.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Great position. Nice hosts. Good position.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Lovly breakfast. Homemade jams, yummi, freshmade orange juice. And cakes.....High ceilings in a nice old building. Very good beds, big. Very clean. No noice from the street cause it was not allowed for cars to drive past the Hotel. Wonderful host and hostess :). Will be back!!! Good wifi.
Cons: Would be nice with a few english Channels. You could hear the people upstairs walking about. But it did not wake me up. Very nice and quiet otherwise.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Classic, cosy, friendly, exactly in the center of the city!!
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful spacious room, comfortable bed, nicely decorated. The owners, Marina and Panayotis, are very nice and friendly. They had a lovely breakfast waiting, with all kinds of homemade jams, spinach pie, eggs, fruit, freshly squashed orange juice and more.
Cons: The location, in the old town close to Syntagma Square, has the advantage of being within walking distance from everything. But the disadvantage is that due to proximity to restaurants and bars, there is quite some noise till pretty late at night. I am a pretty light sleeper, so that bothered me.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The couple who greeted us, were there for breakfast, carrying bags up, and so on were terrific. Maybe they are the owners, we aren't sure, but they were wonderful. We were leaving on the second day before breakfast started, but the man said, we want to fit your schedule, not vice versa, and indeed breakfast was ready in time for us to enjoy before leaving. Some good advice too on restaurants for dinner. Location is terrific. In the heart of the old town, close to restaurants, shops, the waterfront.
Cons: Only one downside. We arrived on Saturday evening. Wifi was unavailable - they were up front about the server being down and of course not much happens on Sunday in terms of getting things fixed. Maybe out of their control? I got email on my phone (wifi not needed) but my husband wanted wifi for general web stuff. Other than that one concern, this is a terrific place.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The room was large and very clean. The owners Marina and her family were very warm and welcoming. Top location, in the middle of the town. We enjoyed it

Pros: We loved everything about this hotel - location, staff, our room (clean, spacious, comfortable bedding, nicely furnished). Breakfast was great - plentiful, tasty with lots of different varieties for any taste - and very worth the price (we first decided to walk around to see where else we could eat, but then returned to hotel and didn’t regret it). View from our room was super nice and we enjoyed walking around a lot (Nafplio is beautiful and every corner is picturesque). Parking in the port is free and only about 3 min walk from the hotel. Staff was very helpful and friendly. We only regretted that we spent just one night there - really would like to stay longer.
Cons: Nothing.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean, very nice rooms, very good breakfast on a beautfiful terrace
Cons: Nothing that we did not like
10,0 Excellent
Pros: So much space in the room! High ceilings emphasized that feeling. Having a Balcony was lovely, loft was great. Decor was pleasing and the beds were comfortable.
Cons: The common areas (hallways, stairwells) were stiflingly hot! There is no air conditioning in these areas and there is no elevator so the heat feels oppressive. The rooms’ A/C worked very well but did not reach the bathroom which was similarly stifling.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly service great location comfortable beds very clean

Pros: Loved its quaint location. Great views. Great staff. And loved the small secluded area we were in. Would absolutely recommend and go back myself.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: My family of 4 stayed here for 2 nights. We loved this hotel. We had a smaller unit (but it was still plenty big) with a bed for 2 in the main room and two singles in a loft upstairs. Check-in was quick and easy. Every staff member we interacted with was super friendly. The entire property was spotless and appeared new. You could see they work hard to keep this place looking nice. The room was very clean as well. The bed was super comfortable. There was plenty of hot water for 4 showers. There is a fridge/freezer in the room as well. We enjoyed the pool. It was quite refreshing after a hot day. There is a little restaurant as well, but we didn’t purchase anything from it. Not having a car will require a long walk into town. With a car, this hotel is perfect for a trip to Nafplio. It's only a 10 minute drive into town and there is plenty of parking along the harbor. Our family felt this hotel provided quite a luxury for the price we paid.
Cons: WiFi was ok speed (this is our 6th hotel on our Greece trip and WiFi is slow everywhere... this hotel was the fastest speed, but still slow).
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Best breakfast buffet in our Greek trip and beyond. Everything in it was worth trying.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: First thing - the hotel staff attitude is amazing. They treat every guest with incredible hospitality, always with a smile, and always trying to help. This was our first stay, and Sofia, Olga, and the rest of the staff made us feel right at home from the first minute. Secondly - the hotel restaurant serves the best food you'll find anywhere in the area. It is more "fine dining" style rather than a "tavern" style place, with excellent food, wine, and atmosphere. It's nice and quiet and we enjoyed it every night. Third - the room we stayed in (2 level family room) was quite big, very clean (the rooms are cleaned every day), and modernly designed. The hotel grounds are also very nice for spending a day of relaxing by the pool with a book and a drink. The hotel is roughly 10 minutes driving from the center of Nafplio which is actually nice if you're also looking to drive to other locations as you avoid the city center hustle and bustle and any parking concerns (there is plenty of parking in the hotel). To sum up, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you! :)
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The staff went the extra mile in looking after us.
Cons: Nothing, it was s lovely experience.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Everything! Food, pool and accommodation!
Cons: -
9,2 Excellent
Pros: A good breakfast with plenty of choice.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Anthemion is a beautiful spot. Sophia and her team are fantastic. Delicious cocktails. Delicious food - very talented young chef! Decorated very tastefully, stylish rooms and pool area is comfortable and chic.
Cons: Nothing. On slight downside is its a little walk out of town (15 - 20 mins) but it didn’t cause us much of a problem and Anthemion is lovely just to chill at once you’ve climbed the steps to the Palamidi! ;)
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect stay in all departments. This place really met all our expectations. Spotless facilities. Great service. Breakfasts were awesome. A few minutes away from downtown Nafplio. Therefore, it it is close enough to be convenient for fast commuting and far enough for a peaceful environment.
Cons: Actually nothing ( except perhaps, we wish , we would have booked a longer stay. But we were touring on a three week journey.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The room was super clean, the staff always nice, friendly and ready to help, the quality of breakfast was excellent with a lot of variety, the restaurant serves excellent food. The location is very quiet
Cons: It was not easy to find it upon arrival because the sign on the main road was not so visible
6,0 Good
Pros: This home was very nicely located in Nafplio, we took many day trips with ease. I must say after two weeks they had the best coffee at breakfast! Personally I would prefer music to a TV in any place I stay.
7,0 Good
Pros: Spacious, modern suite. The location is among olive trees, but close to the old town. Breakfast was excellent. WIFI reception was great. There was a large private terrace to sit on.
Cons: There were a number of dogs in the neighbourhood. They barked day and night for hours at a time.
7,0 Good
Pros: Lovely owner run guesthouse, lovely views, lovely outdoors nature feeling, quiet except for dogs and birds which we loved. Had a great time.
Cons: We had not been aware that the quadruple room regretfully had no view, all other rooms however do and it is wonderful. We'll be back to try the rooms with views. You need a car, which we had.
6,3 Good
Pros: Quiet location with parking. The reception very helpful. Breakfast in a nice dependance in the garden with good view. The bathroom was new and well-equipped.
Cons: The bed sheet was not changed at our arrival and covered with the coverlet (probably a mistake). The bed was too hard.
6,0 Good
Pros: The place around the room and the breakfast place was Fine!! The stuff was very kind also!
Cons: The view from our room was at the parking..
6,3 Good
Pros: Located at a quit place on the hill but still close to the city of Napflion.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Super friendly and helpful Zotos brothers were welcoming and helpful at every turn including assisting us with travel changes when we found out ferries out of Rafina were cancelled due to weather. The location is central to the old town and parking just up hill near the Akronapila fort was easy and free. Breakfast on the upper deck was tasty and plentiful with a commanding view of the entire town, port and Palamidi fort. 10 min walk to everything you need including a beach. Be prepared for 4+ flights of steps down to town and back up to pension but well worth the climb.

Pros: Very nice room, class furnished , very comfortable bed. Room B1 at 1st floor with a nice small balcony where we made our breakfast in the morning, bathroom is large. Coffee and available tea in the room. Very friendly people at Reception. We would certainly stay in the same place when we come again to Nafplio.
Cons: Old town is full of restaurants and bars, at night a lot of noise from the the restaurant below till late hours on Saturday night . Sunday night was quieter. Breakfast is basic, though they serve it in the room, it was ok for us.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Great location (loved being right in centre of old city) breakfast brought to your room, nice staff, fridge
Cons: We had car. Most of time public parking ok. But came back on Saturday evening and found it very difficult to find somewhere to park.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location and very nice room
7,0 Good
Pros: The bed was super comfortable and the extra pillows added to a good sleep. The furnishings were charming with nice touches to make warm the room. The AC worked well. The French-press coffee set and mini-fridge was a nice bonus. The fresh orange juice, breads, honey yogurt, and warm poached eggs fueled our slow rollout.
Cons: WiFi didn't work, no fix provided. Room was dark. Stairway was dark ... mind your step. With these multi-story pensions it's best not to have heavy luggage. No views. Difficult to find parking, which is several blocks from the rooms.

Pros: Well what a lovely mansion to stay in. Huge ceilings and a lovely old world charm. The staff were very helpful in every way. Beautiful breakfast including some of the best fruit and pastries with have had on travels through Greece,
Cons: The generator diesel fumes at breakfast are a little off putting in the courtyard.
4,0 Okay
Pros: The location of the hotel is well centered and close to the old town. The public parking was close by and convenient.
Cons: 1. Smell of gasoline all the time - not possible to open the window at any time. The receptionist either played suprised about the smell or simply was ignorant. 2. Noise of the guest (till late night and early morning for breakfast) area located in front of the window. I did ask for a quiet room instead I got room 201, which is the first coming up the stair and therefore the noisyest. 3. Not even a bottle of water was furnished in the room. In any other hotel we stayed on the Peloponnese a bottle of water is being placed into the room everysingle day. 4. The receptionist who was present at our arrival was not properly trained in how to welcome guests.

Pros: The rooms were really comfortable and clean. We had a great view of the town from the balcony. The staff were amazing, very welcoming and friendly and always on hand to help with anything. I’m gluten intolerant and they made a real effort every morning to make sure there were things I could eat including gluten free bread
Cons: Nothing, very comfortable stay and fantastic staff
7,5 Good
Pros: Its a unique setting. very nice breakfast. staff is friendly.
Cons: the staff was very nice, but had no idea how to tell us how to get there (even with our native greek guide familiar with the area). Its a trek dragging luggage to the hotel so one night stays aren't worth the effort, and if you're in town for longer you'll want better access to town. They've made the interior very modern - it just didn't fit what we thought we'd see. there is no lift and the stairways are tight.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Location and atmosphere were superb. The staff were very attentive and helpful. There are, of course, steps everywhere but that adds to the overall charm especially in the old town.
Cons: I didn't like leaving!

Pros: Great checkin with very friendly host and lots of good advices. Excellent breakfast
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Great location, in the center but on a quiet square, close to the steps to the Paladimi castle and the clock tower for a beautiful sunset view. Our room was really cute, spacious and comfortable, with a lovely balcony overlooking the square. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, with different options every day.
Cons: Just a few small things: there is no common area to hang out/ eat, so breakfast is served in the room (which is great as long as you’re happy to choose the time the day before) Most of the time the front desk is not staffed which makes it a bit difficult to communicate with the owner. The WiFi is pretty slow, and the place can’t arrange laundry although it says so on booking.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location and very good value
Cons: The only minor thing was that the room was not completely dark
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and helpful manager, Elias. He came to the rescue when my partner found she had lost the key to her bag. He found a saw and cut the lock off ! Breakfast was really good. Room was cool and pleasantly decorated. Absolutely awesome shower in bathroom. Hotel is in great location .
Cons: Though the shower was amazing, our bathroom could have done with a bit of a makeover.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Room clean and comfortable Ideal location Must of all, Ilias gave us very good advices on what to visit, and real insider tips :) Thank you again for your warm welcome
9,6 Excellent
Pros: breakfeast was good and sufficient. the room was clean and big enough for two people. the staff was helpful in getting the luckage up into the room over the steep staircase.
Cons: location is difficult to reach. there no place for parking.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Very nice city with nice beach and walk around the place. Don't forget to take the walk at the backside of the mountain. Not well maintained and all the lanterns are broken, but a very nice walk. Though formally obstructed, the locals use this path regularly. We got a very good breakfast on our room, which we took on our small balcony. A perfect way to start the day. Afterwards we visited the castle. Very nice with a beautiful view of the surroundings.
Cons: Nothing really. One small point of critism: shower facilities in Greece in general are last on the list of maintenance. Here the main shower head was covered with mould. A second shower head was operating fine.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, nice staff, nice room "Nymphs" - with a balcony. Breakfast is delivered to the room. There is satellite TV and Wi-Fi in the room.
Cons: Construction began in a neighboring building.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is located in the main square in the centre of the old town surrounded by a wide range of bars resultants and shops. This has got to be the best location in the town and a great place to sit out in the evenings for a drink and a meal. Nafplio is a great base for touring and vising some of the ancient sites such as Epidaurus, Mycenae Argos and Tyrins
Cons: Nothing, We thought the hotel, the location and service were great
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Fabulous location in the centre of Nafplio overlooking one of the beautiful squares. Lovely room, first time we've ever slept in a round bed, and it was extremely comfortable. Great breakfast in the linked cafe downstairs.
Cons: The property has a number of steep stairs up to the rooms with no lift.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The position was right in the main square with everything very close by. The town is a must visit while in Greece and you need to spend at least 2/3 days in the town.
Cons: Parking for the car was a bit of a walk, but that seems to be due to the time of the year. The drop off a the hotel is close, but then you have to park the car.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Hotel is in the perfect location in Naphlio, right at the square. Room was tastefully designed.
3,8 Mediocre
Pros: It’s in the middle of the old town which makes it easy to discover the city. The big room had a nice balcony.
Cons: It’s not a real hotel, more Airbnb like. No reception, no sitting area,... A lot of noice from the cafe downstairs on Saturday night. Old bathroom, not clean at all. We found a lot of dirt (eg glasses) under the bed.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is located in the heart of everything. Loved our too short stay. Highly recommend staying here. Staff friendly and very helpful.
Cons: There is nothing we didnt like
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The location is superb - right on Syntagma Square. Our room had a balcony overlooking the square. At night when Nafplio comes alive it offered a great vantage point from which to sit and soak up the atmosphere of this truly amazing town. The staff are courteous and helpful- nothing is a problem. The cafe downstairs serves a simple but filling breakfast and is also a great place to sit and relax at night while sipping on your drink of choice.
Cons: The steps leading up to the hotel. There are 24 steps and having to haul suitcases up is a bit annoying. Having said that, when travelling you have to be prepared to lug bags around so it’s a small price to pay for such a nice hotel.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Service & all staff were great. The location was ideal. Breakfast was one of the best.
Cons: Only 1 thing, no stairs but the hosts, breakfast, room and location ideal

Pros: Small kitchen in the room very usefull
Cons: Not far away from city center but if coming by car, be careful of the last hill/road to reach the parking of the Hotel, which is very steep! We parked down the road after one try up the hill...
8,8 Excellent
Pros: We had a small view of the ocean and a lovely view of the castle. The room was spacious. The landlady is very helpful and sweet and always available. Cooking facilities were good.
Cons: It was a little noisy, from cats and dogs, other people in the hotel, cars coming in late night and parking in front of our room. The parking was quite tricky.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Spacious, comfortable and clean apartment and balcony. From the apartment and balcony your view is the castle, a part of Nafplion, the bay and mountains in the distance. The lady of the hotel is warm and kind.

Pros: The rooms are spacious. The family that runs it are so welcoming and helpful and friendly . The terrace is large and view beautiful. It’s surroubded by greenery .
Cons: Is a steep walk up to the hotel but we were expecting that. For some they might find it too far for walking to the centre old town . We enjoyed walk and did it more than once a day. ( about 10 -15 min) If you had a car there would only be the little steep hill from the parking lot .

Pros: Located on a seaside promenade so it's a great location for exploring this charming town. The hotel is little bit older but it is still very nice. Breakfast was ok, room was nice. You can find the parking some 3-5 minutes from the hotel.
Cons: Nothing to complain.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything about the hotel exceeded our expectations. It was very modern, the room was a good size and the location was perfect. Of course, as is usual in Greece, it was very clean. What really surprised us was the quantity and quality of the breakfast. We are regular visitors of Greece and will definitely return.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: the location is top just in front of the sea, friendly staff room with a balcony looking at the sea
5,0 Okay
Pros: Good position, comfortable bed, adequate breakfast
Cons: No hot water for a shower for two of the mornings, barely tepid. We were told this was because there was a group of 80 students from USA staying and they emptied the supplies. We think that they were prepared to take our money but not supply essential facilities. I do not believe they did not know that this would be a problem, I was given no apology just told to wait for the boiler to heat up. I have never stayed in a hotel anywhere in the world where I could not have a hot shower. Appalling! I couldn’t even talk to management, just given the brush off. I would have expected a partial refund at the very least.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Really close to the port and centre of the vile. Many shops close but no noise at all. The room is very comfortable and the staff was very polite.
Cons: Too early the breakfast especially if you are in holidays.

Cons: O
7,5 Good
Pros: The location was perfect, staff was friendly and their suggestions very helpful and the breakfast was very nice (there even offered greek yogurt, honey, raisins and nuts and tasty sweets).
Cons: The coffee machine was used so we couldn't get clean hot water to make tea although it was mentioned, the balcony was partly blocked so we couldn't open the doors completely, the shower was very old and some knobs partly broken. The room had carpet floor and an old smell but it suited the old character of the town. Reception closes at 10 pm.
8,5 Excellent
Pros: breakfast, location
Cons: shower
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location (right in the town center and also five minutes walking to a beautiful beach). Staff was really nice and chatty with us. They gave us advices and we also talked about the interesting history of Nafplio. Breakfast was absolutely delicious (best spanakopitas ever!) and with plenty of choices. Yummy!
Cons: Room was not made. Our impression is that this is something quite common in Greece (it was not the first place our room was not made). I would advise to get those signs you hang from the doorknob to indicate whether you want the room made or not. Also, hotel is a bit outdated, but this was not a problem for us.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Owner was helpful. Only issue was no elevator and stairs were tricky. It was close to free parking. And we were able to park close to hotel. Most other places we saw were farther from parking
Cons: Tne staircase
9,2 Excellent

Cons: The hotel needs renovation
9,4 Excellent
Pros: Staff are very welcoming and courteous. They are accommodating and helpful. There was always staff available for any questions/needs we had. Their breakfast was amazing!
Cons: Furniture needs updating. Mattresses not the most comfortable. Think there was a timer on water, water stopped flowing abruptly when taking a shower. Minor issues that we didn't feel need to address with staff. Even with these small inconveniences we would definitely return here.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was really attentive and kind. Breakfast was amazing! The room was beautiful and clean.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Most of all - the staff were very helpful and sorted me out when my arrival was delayed. Excellent breakfast buffet with many home-made items. Comfortable room was just what I wanted. Would definitely stay again. And in a very convenient location just round the corner from where the bus from Athens stops.
Cons: Just one little comment - I had a sore knee and so the stairs weren’t the easiest to climb. No lift. But the good points were far greater.

Pros: not much to be frank. very cold vibe the hotel. The staff at the reception are exceptional - top draw but the rest need training.
Cons: Hotel is living on it past glory. Not looked after for the rate being charged. Would generally not recommend it. There is no WI-FI in the rooms - shocking for this day and age. Only wi-fi in the foyer. Rooms are not vacummed got bitten by some fleas which were not mosquitos dear cleaning lady !! Common garden area around swimming in a very bad state.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Location is perfect. Perched on the rocks at the side of the bay. Amazing views. We had the junior suite sat the top which was perfect. The staff were lovely, they could not have been more friendly.
Cons: Breakfast was fine but a bit ordinary.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Exceptional service and fabulous resort
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We were in an un-renovated room which was a spectacular homage to the ‘70s (incl olive green bathroom!) with fabulously comfy beds and the best view of Napflio waterfront. The renovation of this hotel looks spectacular with artful use of textures, colour and marble. Imagine the renovated rooms would be superb. However, we loved our retro choice.
7,5 Good
Pros: the views from the room were amazing. the facility was clean, the house cleaning staff attentive to our needs.
Cons: We stayed in one of the most expensive suites, the facility has not been maintained. the cushions on the chaise lounges were torn, the sofa in our suite was sagging, there were exposed wires, and pipes. soggy carpeting, weeds growing on the roof tops. It must have been a fabulous place when it first opened, but has obviously been left to decay.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: We stayed in the hotel before. The location is great. The view from the room is amazing.
7,9 Good
Pros: Like that ot was in castle walls.
Cons: Definitely overpriced. Very masculine and drab decor. Outdated. A disappointment.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: UNLIKE prior comments, we found "the Palace" very clean and all electronics (for which is many in the rooms) working. The Staff very friendly and our room always spotless. Location was beautiful and nice short escape from busy town.
Cons: SKIP DINNER. For area expensive and not great. KEEP FINGERS CROSSED IN ELEVATOR TO TOWN. We had no problem but major shakes and jerks....
6,7 Good
Pros: Staff vey helpful and friendly
Cons: The area around the pool not well tended. Grass not cut and a general update is needed. Cats in the breakfast area. A general feeling of tiredness. Nothing like the brochure.
5,4 Okay
Pros: The hotel is built on the ruins of a castle and that is a unique thing and has a nice view of the port of Nafplio.
Cons: The hotel hasn't been renovated for many decades and the furnitures are very old and dirty or destroyed. The lights are not working. The pool is not functioned completely and the Internet is not working well. You have to log-in every 5 minutes. The wine that they had in the room was very bad and it was smelling bad and we had to through it. The hotel was a 5 star hotel when it was built but now it can not be rated with 5 stars unter this condition. We stayed at the embassidor villa and we payed more than 550€ per day and the condition of the room was not worthy even for the half. The materials that had been used for this hotel were very good and luxurious but after so many years of non renovation (more than 16) everything is damaged. Even the leather was destroyed at the doors handles and at the main desk. The electronic facilities of the villa was not functioned completely and it was technologically 20 years old or even more. Everything was with cables and even the safe box was not functioned because the batteries were empty.
