Pros: This is a superb hotel. Every member of staff was friendly and welcoming and the place has been recently refurbished I think as it is shiny and bright and very, very clean. The pool area is lovely - especially as sunbeds around the island on the beaches are incredibly expensive, but free at the hotel pool (of course). Enjoyed Greek salads and ouzo from the pool bar too. The balcony was nice. The hotel is closer to the town centre than I expected. Breakfast was great - good selection, could sit outside or inside. My personal favourite part was the heart-shaped waffles with chocolate sauce. Yum!

The garden is lovely for breakfast, a coffee or a drink. Maria, the owner, is extremely helpful. The entire staff is terrific. This is a three star, so no full restaurant on site. The rooms are immaculate, beds very comfortable. Excellent WiFi. Some rooms have balconies. Would definitely return to the Matina. Thanks Maria and your staff for a great visit to this beautiful village.

The location is away from all the madness of the main town but is a quick (+ affordable) taxi ride away. We also walked into Mykonos town one day and it was no more than a 20 minute walk. The pool area is lovely and we hung out there when we weren’t feeling up to going to the beaches. I’d highly recommend this establishment! Thank you ♥️

Cons: The breakfast could have been a little better. It wasn't bad, just nothing great. The food we ordered for lunch was way too pricey for what we received - which was very pedestrian. Unless they improve considerably i wouldn't bother ordering food. There are loads of options nearby - stick with them. The fitness center was a massive let down. For the rates at a hotel like this I don't think that it is too much to ask for a few decent weights and resistance machines to have on offer. The equipment was very limited and old, not really useable.

Cons: Breakfast could use a lot of improvements. The selection was very limited and there seemed to be only a few options for eggs/meats/cheeses but it would have been better if there was at least a menu or placemat card to describe what else was available. I spoke to another guest who had the same impression. The server has to tell you the egg options and it was a little awkward figuring out what ingredients were possible for the omelette for example. An a la cart menu with some more egg dishes or hot sweet options would have been perfect. I would expect a better breakfast experience at a 5 star hotel, and boutique hotel in particular. Other then that the food quality was actually great if you ordered from the "brunch" menu next to the pool. Just needs some small improvements and I'd give this hotel 5 stars for everything!

Cons: I paid extra to have a hot tub on my patio. It didn’t work. The water was cold. We called twice to have it fixed. We received immediate service but the hot tub never got hot. On check out we requested to have our bill adjusted and be charged the price of a room that didn’t have a hot tub. We were told the hot tub was working, and it was our fault it didn’t heat up. How was it our fault when we never touched it except to feel if the water was hot. We asked to talk to manager. Again we were refused compensation. Being a lodge owner myself, I was surprised at their response. I would do everything possible to make my guests happy, Especially if a room failed to meet up to expectations. I was very disappointed in such a nice hotel that charged an extremely large amount for their rooms not standing by their expected reputation. Very disappointed!!! I would not stay there again nor would I recommend anyone staying there.

Pros: We booked a vacation package through groupon and when we arrived to our Mykonos Hotel, found that the hotel they sent us to was not up to parr. We were able to quickly find a new spot and we ended up here. Boy were we so glad we made the switch. Everyone here is so helpful, it’s a short walk from town center, and the hotel is simply just beautiful. Amazing views from the rooftop. Beds are comfortable, cleaned daily, and we loved the jacuzzi tub in our room. 5 stars heanda down!!

Pros: We booked a vacation package through groupon and when we arrived to our Mykonos Hotel, found that the hotel they sent us to was not up to parr. We were able to quickly find a new spot and we ended up here. Boy were we so glad we made the switch. Everyone here is so helpful, it’s a short walk from town center, and the hotel is simply just beautiful. Amazing views from the rooftop. Beds are comfortable, cleaned daily, and we loved the jacuzzi tub in our room. 5 stars heanda down!!

Cons: The room was incredibly small, shower was extremely small, which made it hard to move in . Way way over price $ $650/night . The Tv in the room is 20 inch , the furniture is old . The pictures of the room looks much better the the actual room. We were 3 person and I had booked a room for 3 but the room that I got was not big enough even for 2 and we felt we were stuck.

Pros: The location of the property was in a short proximity to the Mykonos Town with great views towards the sea and the town itself. The rooms and the whole area around the reception, swimming pool etc was extremely clean. Cleaners, receptionist and the rest of staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Shower was very hot each day and there was a fridge and kettle in the room, which has helped. There was nothing I did not liked. I would be very happy to stay at Sofia village again.

Pros: What a little gem! Great location, fantastically friendly helpful staff. Superb cleaning team, I was never disturbed once even when I slept in, like magic cleaning fairies. Superb bar and pool area and really great barman that mixed up a mean Bloody Mary. Don’t believe any negatives you hear as this is a great place and I have stayed at many on the island. Top tip above the hotel on the main road next to the petrol station is the most awesome cake shop and homemade burger bar over the road!!

Cons: Loud hardcore music by the pool. Hotel transfer waited just ten minutes for us at arrivals after our flight touched down. Clearly didn’t allow for us to get off the aircraft and collect baggage - pretty poor.

Cons: The noice ( loud music) from neighboring restaurant made sleeping hard. I was moved to a different location as booked due to circumstances but they failed to tell me about the noice. No sleep means no enjoyment.
