Good location, nice pool, good view
As a 4 star hotel, rooms are old and tired, bathroom terrible

Location was good if you rent a scooter or a quad to go down and back up from town. Pool is nice and chill, staff gives you towel for pool or beach. Breakfast was nice.
It's a fair place, clean enough, and very friendly staff. But it's not a newly furnished 4* hotel.

Friendly staff and a nice little pool. Relatively close to the Mykonos town (although a good 200m steep uphill climb).
Whilst Golden Star is not a bad hotel, the claim of a 4 star hotel and the room rate of 145 euros per night are not justified. Furnishing and fixtures are obviously dated. Beds are hard and small. The TV screen is small with the screen size about the same as my laptop.

We loved our time at the Golden Star. The staff was great, the view was amazing, and the location (short walk into town) worked well for us. We'll be back!
