Walls were thin, AC noisy, air filtration terrible - didn't seem any better than the wildfire smoke outside.
great family run place would stay there again
get rid of the pigeons on the roof
The breakfast was a nice touch with an omelette bar.
Their confusion of the bil. They showed an over charge $379.84 hopefully I will get this back.
Decent Lipstick on an Old Pig
The dacor is cheap but effective, much as the facility itself. The mattress was good enough, and they had pillows of variable firmness. The wifi was fast enough for my needs, though I was dropped once.
If you are harder of hearing, this is _the_ place for you! Nice amenities, though much of it built as cheaply as possible, and one has to run the Air Conditioning fan (from which, ours did not blow cold air) to generate the white noise to override the televisions and conversations from our neighbors above, below, and on each side, as well as the traffic noise from 85. I hope I'm still as effective, though slow, when I'm as old as the elevator is now. Forget the shared balcony. There's no sound-proofing in the French Doors, so you hear every annoying syllable your drunk neighbors emit, as well as every hybrid accelerating down the 82/85 interchange ramp right below and behind the property.
great breakfast and friendly staff
Noisy, bad wifi, otherwise ok
Decent staff, good bed, not terribly expensive for the area. Breakfast is all right, with eggs-to-order being the highlight.
My room faced a porch where people talked on the phone and smoked at all hours, and the door didn't block noise or smoke. The wifi was terrible -- frequent dropouts, got kicked off the network all the time, and slow even when it worked. Hard to find in between freeway ramps. Ubers always get lost picking me up here.
Comfortable Room and able to good a good night's sleep. Breakfast room was a good size. Buffet style service- waffles, hard boiled eggs, toast, banana bread muffins, country potatoes, sausages/bacon or both, and made to order omelet, greek yogurt and toppings. We could usually skip lunch.
Need to approach hotel slowly on El Camino- Entrance driveway is close to the entry for Route 85S - If you miss it- need to drive and make some U-turns on El Camino to get back.
Enjoyed a weekend away
Hotel Zico is sweet and like getting away to a Greek island. The hotel was beautifully set up to get away from the city bustle I'm used to. I enjoyed the comfy beds and close dining areas around the hotel.
The walls are thin so we got to hear rowdy kids at night and loving couples too. So the other hotel visitors were the issue not the hotel it's self.
Friendly Staff. Clean, comfortable room with a better breakfast than one expected.
The room was very stylish and functional. All the amenities that a solo traveler needed. If I'm in the area again this is where I'm staying.
The staff truly go above and beyond with hospitali
The complimentary breakfast far exceeded our expectations - made to order omelets, sausage, freshly made potatoes. And the front desk staff were incredibly friendly.
Great hotel and a great price.
It was very clean and comfortable. The room came with a mini fridge and microwave. Great cable TV channels, more than I've ever seen and it was free. Staff were always friendly. The free breakfast was good with made to order omelets, oatmeal with all the trimmings, breakfast potatoes, meat choice, waffles, cereals, etc. I stayed Sunday through Thursday and the price was unbelievable for this area with what it offers. I've recommended it to my friends and coworkers. Also the bed was super comfortable.
The free internet was really fussy but I'm secret happy about that... It kept me from working and I actually relaxed instead. People complained about the noise-- my room faced the freeway above the wall-- I didn't really hear much and put the ac fan on only and I heard nothing-- so that isn't a complaint.
Staff was excellent and friendly. I liked the Stevens Creek path also.
I could hear telephone conversation in the next room.
Well we stayed in two downstairs rooms and they were extremly noisy. I did recieve a 5 dollar discount so I gues I was treated fairly.... but 5 dollars... after changing rooms for the third time at 12:45 am ...seems like we should have had the room comped... or way more of a discount... I mean come on you are trying to make my business right? I would have come back too but not ater the 5 dollar slap in the face. ok maybe I will come back. I really enjoyed the setting.
that there is not even a thermometer if smb is not feeling well
Modern style, staff, parking
The nice looking renovations are not enough to hide some elements of the old hotel (smell, bathtub, room isolation, ...). Very basic breakfast, selection of TV channels, noise from the highway.
It was quiet. Liked the decor. Nice breakfast.
hard to see the road access into the hotel due to construction. A temporary sign might have helped.
The bed and look of the furniture was good.
Poor signage. Nowhere did it say Hotel Zico except at the street next to the other Hotels's sign in the complex. We wasted time going to that one first. Slightly put off by the desk clerk upon arrival.
Nice style. Not a commodity product. Large room.
Walls very thin - disturbed one night by next door. Also noise outside in carpark in early hours - partying going on
The staff were helpful and the rooms were nice. The hotel was recently renovated and the rooms would be considered eccentric by some. We found the decor to be a nice change from your run-of-the-mill standard hotel. Although the hotel is next to the highway, we did not hear any noise at any time inside the hotel - rooms, lobby, sitting and dining areas.
Check out is at 11am, and at 8am as we were going downstairs for breakfast, the cleaning staff were in the hallway, which is no big deal, but they didn't even acknowledge us, even as we tried to acknowledge them. But more importantly, they seemed irritated that we weren't immediately checking out, so that they could clean the rooms and be done. Because of that, we felt rushed to check out.
Courteous, helpful front desk staff; beautiful facility.
