Breakfast good but service very slow. There was not enough staff.
Sheer curtain panel had food stains, reported three times and no change after 5 day stay. Air conditioner whines every time during start up and can be herd from hall way motor room. Although breakfast was good wait time over 30 minutes even for just coffee. French toast made from sliced Italian bread. SAD. Even though I had a DO NOT DISTURB in key slot, my room was entered into to place slippers on bed. Thankfully I was not in the shower. There's no way I would have heard a knock on the door if I was in the bathroom. Do not disturb means DO NOT DISTURB !!!
It is an old world property that conveys the beauty of Old Montreal. The staff is generally very nice. Rooms are large and modern. Excellent breakfast each day.
Quite a bit of early morning noise from trucks, room is not well isolated from other rooms and noise in our hallway carried into our room all day and night. There is no public space at all. No where to sit and relax outside your room.
The staff were friendly and very helpful. On a busy Thursday Dinner Hour the Maitre’d accommodated my husband and I and sat us at a lovely table despite no reservations. We were remiss. Our room was cozy and clean. The king size bed was amazingly comfortable. Complimentary breakfast each morning completed the stay.
I have nothing negative to write.
The registration staff was an excellent concierge. We really enjoyed his restaurant suggwations
Service at breakfast was slow
The concierge service was outstanding as was the entire staff. The location is right in Old Montréal but far enough away that the night life isn’t a factor if you like to tuck in early. A great restaurant and wonderful city made for a perfect long weekend.
