Pros: The owners of the hotel is a very nice couple, who do everything to make sure that your staying is comfortable. They can even help you to plan the visit of the region. The rooms are clean, spacious and cozy, equipped with everything that you might need during your stay. The neighboardhood is quiet and peaceful. The parking is availiable on the site.

Pros: The room was clean and had everything you'd expect. Nice breakfast with plenty choice. Good location in town, easier to get to than expected. The hotel receptionist directed us to the Rue Colbert (one block nearer the river) and said to turn right where we'd find plenty restaurants – true, but many were closed and the rest were almost all of Asian or other ethnic cuisines. It's better to turn LEFT on Rue Colbert and walk three or four blocks to the old town square where there were plenty cafes and restaurants and a lively atmosphere.

Pros: The location is bang on in the middle of everything. Perhaps a bit too central, if you require some peace and quite. Having said that our room was very quite and peacefulat night. Exceptionally clean, comfy bed and the staff was superb, friendly, warm, helpful and went out of their way to accommodate us. Our room was very small but for 1 night that was ok. All in all great location, very clean, excellent staff... Would stay again and would recomend. Thanks for your hospitality.

Pros: Quiet street with many restaurants, easy walk to all points of interest including the Xmas market, the river, and the Cathedral (outstanding cathedral). Not a luxurious hotel, but cozy enough for us. Can’t remember if it had an elevator bc we travel light and use the stairs. We liked our rooms. Good breakfast. Pleasant & helpful staff. The front desk isn’t always manned but getting in after hours with the other door and fob was easy. I’d definitely stay here again. Loved Tours.

Pros: We loved the proprietors. They were very welcoming, very helpful, had great restaurant suggestions which were all within a few minutes walk. The location is in the old part of town and we loved the view from our window. Breakfast was sublime. There was so much choice and everything was delicious. Our room was spotless and the bed so comfortble.
Cons: The rooms are cozy but this is to be expected in such an old building (which has been beautifully restored).

Pros: Good location in funky older part of town, room was clean, staff was friendly and informative.
Cons: The room was a bit run down with peeling wall paper, and was mostly dark gray, and not in a trendy way, which made it depressing and dark. Adding to that, the lighting was cold and not strong enough to brighten up the place or to read by. Left knowing I should have gone to the Best Western for similar price, way better quality and in a better area.

Pros: Location, plum in the middle of town in a pedestrian only street. Short term vehicular access for offloading no problem. All amenities and visitor attractions within easy walking distance. Rated 2-star but our room was more than adequate for a short stopover with interesting decor. No a/c but the room was cool enough even though hot outside. Breakfast pretty good for the price. The owner/manager very helpful. Parking in a nearby underground carpark (400m away) at a heavily subsidised price worked well.
Cons: Nothing really, however, on a practical note, probably not the most suitable for someone with a disability.

Cons: Reception closes at 7pm. Because of its limited hours, you may not get help when you need it. Room was on upper level, but its extremely noisy. Its facing the street and tons of people hangout in the bars around the property. Very noisy until 230am! I like to keep window open for some air but it was impossible.

Pros: Hotel Colbert is a very nice hidden treasure as it is recently renovated. It had the perfect location, close to the popular bars and restaurants as well as shopping area. At a short distance of the Loire for a nice morning or evening walk. The owners were very friendly people and were flexible to keep our luggage until the afternoon in a separate storage room. Also the breakfast was good value for money. We'll come back!

Pros: The hotel is in an excellent location for those who wish to be in the centre of Tours. The street has many varied and good restaurants along it and in was a short walk from the busy cafés of Place Plumereau. Even though we were on a tourist street, our room overlooked the garden so it was quiet at night. Overnight parking was available at 8euros50 per day a short walk away.

Pros: It’s a gem! Good size room, clean, fresh decorations and in a perfect location for walking to everything - museums and shops and the old area of Tours. In a pedestrian street with a huge variety of restaurants and bars to choose from. Breakfast is good too and the owner is very helpful. We will stay again, it’s really good value and very secure.

Pros: I stayed here with my husband and dog for 1 night and absolutely loved it, never been to Tours before but the hotel is perfectly located, 1 minute walk into the shops, cafes and bars, we arrived around 3pm so had a nice amount of time to explore the close surroundings. The hotel room was superb with the most comfortable bed and pillows I've ever slept on, we ate evening meal in the restaurant and it was fantastic, breakfast was great too, we didn't use the spa but it looks nice and the hotel has a beautiful bar area which allowed dogs too. Staff lovely and friendly and the pre-booked parking was easy - will definitely be staying again. From what we saw of Tours in our short stay we loved it.

Pros: If you are booking this hotel for the swimming pool, I advise you to book another place since the stuff can not asure that the pool will be operational. “You are not paying for the pool, you are paying for the room and for the breakfast” this was the staff answer They had upgraded us to a bigger room (thank you for that) but I would had prefer just to have a nice weekend in this beautiful place and to be able to relax on the pool.

Cons: The information provided for the hotel stated that parking was available. I understood this to mean that there would be a dedicated place, owned or rented by the hotel, where I could securely park my car. There was no parking provided and I was forced to use a municipal car park at an additional cost of about 20 euros. I would expect your organisation to react to being informed of such misleading information.

Cons: The room looks much better in the photos than in reality. The room was old, dark, with a dirty carpet. The toilet was old, in a separate room without ventilation. The cleaning service didn't replace the toilet paper during the 3 days we stayed (we had to ask for it in the reception). Overall, we wouldn't have chosen this hotel if we'd known how the actual room was.

Cons: The hotel is very old practically historic so no air con and the rooms are very hot. If windows are left open it is very noisy. The spiral staircase starts virtually at the front door. Anyone with mobility difficulties might find it a problem.

Pros: Hotel was in a great position and the staff were very attentive. The room was fine and included Coffee and Tea making facilities. The parking was a private underground car park immediately opposite the hotel. This was a Godsend as we had arrived in 42c and it was cool underground.
Cons: Generally the hotel was fine, though the bar area needed a bit of updating. But much more serious was that they had no Gin !!! How long would it take for someone to pop out and get a bottle out of Petty cash instead of waiting for a delivery.

Pros: The hotel is very comfortable, and the room spacious. It is close to the railway station, although you would not guess it if you come by car, and the old town centre is very close too. There are a few P-spaces in the enclosed yard (it is recommended to reserve one when you book). The hotel is dog friendly.

Pros: Very nice and helpful staff. Location that is easy to find and access from the highway. Near the city center, including the tourist sights and many restaurants. One can easily explore the center of Tour on foot. It is a very good base for visiting the castles of Loire valley. The neighborhood seemed nice and safe. Big and clean room. If you find space, parking in the street is free of charge. It is possible to park in the yard of the hotel at a reasonable price. The hotel offers (continental) breakfast.
Cons: The mattresses were not very comfortable. Neither was the bed linen - a plain sheet over which there was a viscose blanket. When you turn while sleeping, you loose either the sheet or the blanket. The interior of the room was clean and well maintained but quite old, probably from the 1980s. One of the streets next to the hotel was a bit noisy in the early hours and it was not possible to sleep with an open window. At breakfast there was no espresso, cappuccino, etc. Just American style filtered coffee.

Pros: Good location: 5 minutes away from the railway station, about 10-15 minutes to most attractions. Incredibly friendly receptionist. The facilities appeared very rudimentary at first, but I got used to it. After all, this is a budget hotel. Excellent breakfast options.
Cons: The man who worked in the breakfast area was not welcoming at all. The bed was not particularly comfortable. I was personally fine with it, but it could be a nuisance for people who highly value comfort.

Pros: Perfectly located within 5 minutes of old quarter, own parking with easy access to all major roads. Friendly reception team willing to help every time. Room was massive compared to the regular French hotel, well maintained and presented and surprisingly quiet given the hotel's location. Did not bother paying for breakfast as multiple bakeries were just around the corner.

Pros: In fact nothing as it’s hype of Novotel name and location. There are many hotels in the city center and hence avoidable stay next time for me and for all tourists planning to go to Tours .
Cons: - The noisy and shaky lifts - risky ! - No help and left in panic mode when lift got struck - unresponsive and arrogant GM / head as not bothered for 5 days even after complaining . - poor WIfi and no staff to rectify and standard answer for all issues - the staff will come and rectify as not there . - poor gym and I don’t know who has given them 4 stars with the two old non working machines kept as a show case there . - waste of money and spoiling the trip is all I can say

Cons: The overbed bunk was quite dangerous. Especially for the person who gets the ladder side. It is so easy to dodge the ladder and end up cracking your head on the bed side. I did it three times! Rooms teeny and the bathroom is screened off with a curtain, although the wc did have a (flimsy) door. A kettle would have been a welcome touch.
