Cons: The view wasn’t the best as advertised but if we lean we could of see the castle and the Douro but not sitting on the patio like advertised. They build something in front. The insonorisation was bad. We heard the people upstairs all night talking.

Pros: Breakfast was excellent and lots of it. Superb view from our bedroom and from the dining room. Our bedroom had a huge balcony - more like an outside room.
Cons: I disliked nothing

Pros: Spacious room with balcony and TV, comfortable bathroom with many fresh towels, soap bars and shampoo packets. Big plus for a breakfast which was included in a price. Perfect location, just by the river. Easy payment and nice owners.
Cons: I cannot find any minus.
7,0 Good
Pros: An average 2 star hotel but the redeeming feature is the magnificent view over the dam and into Spain! Small balcony at front which was nice for a sunset drink. Manager was extremely friendly and spoke French which was helpful. No fridge in room but you could get ice from the bar downstairs. The hotel is in separate building to the bar / restaurant. Good location - very good restaurant ( O Moinho) just a few doors away. Very busy street on Sunday with Spanish shoppers in town! Street parking - no problem. Lovely town and the gorge cruise is a must.

Cons: Place is outdated and therefore I think it's overpriced.
6,3 Good
Pros: nice view
Cons: old furniture, TV is small computer monitor, the whole city is lame. great is to visit the biological research station for a boat trip
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The location was excellent with a grand view of the Douro from a generously-sized balcony. We also appreciated the bath and copious supplies of hot water. The room was spacious enough and there was ample free parking nearby . Breakfast was served at table with excellent coffee! We are particular about coffee which is very rarely as good as at the Vista Bela!
Cons: The bed , like many in Portuguese budget hotels, was rather hard. Our sleep was disturbed by a humming sound from the building and by an anti-social guest running a 3am bath!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The view is amazing! The room it was clean and a lot of space.

Pros: For Miranda do Douro, I doubt that you can find better, and for a better price. It was clean, comfortable, quiet, and it had a really good breakfast. Perfect for a night or two depending on the purpose of the visit. Good internet as well.
Cons: We had some communication challenges with the people working there as we had told them that we were going to arrive later, but they didn't tell us that nobody would be in the reception. It's not something we hated, but after a long day driving, I found it rather annoying.

8,3 Excellent
Pros: Price was good...... wasn’t expecting a balcony or bathrobes, and the room was an above average size. Highly recommended.
Cons: Dark unattended reception, where you have to use the phone and wait 10 minutes for staff to arrive. Wasn’t sure if anyone was coming because of the language barriers.... ‘one moment’ and the phone cut off??
9,5 Excellent
Pros: It's a small, quiet hotel with easy comfort, great airconditioning, warm water, free WiFi, elevator, and cleaned daily. Central location and easy to walk to the historic village center.
Cons: I would have paid a bit extra so that we could get a bit more options for breakfast. We enjoyed bread that was fresh made, with cheese, ham, juice, honey, coffee but I would pay extra to also be able to consume yoghurt, eggs, and have more fruit options (not only orange) and various Portuguese pastries. So, the basic breakfast was great and appropriate for the price we paid, but I would have liked more food and I would also pay more for it.

Pros: Right in the main thoroughfare thru the town. Welcome rest. Good value for money. Great breakfast
Cons: No lift.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Good. Location, good breakfast ( included in the budget rock bottom price)
9,3 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was good. Eggs, variety of meats and breads, yogurt, coffee etc. Not super fancy, but more than adequate and good quality (in particular the bread, which I believe was locally made). Excellent location, with a number of good restaurants within a single block radius. Staff is very friendly. One side of the building has a great view of castle ruins.
Cons: The furnishings are a bit dated, but well kept up. WiFi could be spotty at times, although in the lobby it worked much better.
