Very good location right in front of the beach. Stylish, elegant lobby. Nice view from the rooftop terrace. Ocean rooms with balconies are the best.

Terrible strong smell, as people seem to be allowed smoking substances on balconies, so just imagine how stinky it is when it all gets mixed up with the hotel air fresheners! Unprofessional staff. You sort something out with one person, but nobody else gets informed. I extended my stay for extra 1 night, but next morning I heard the maid screaming 'what time you're checking out?' The staff at reception were not communicating with each other. Not enough staff. Very often you can't get through on the phone to the reception. Rubbish left by guests in front of their doors often stays untouched all day or night. Not enough reception staff. Bleached urine stains on bathroom wall near the toilet. Cleaning seems to be done 'for the eyes only', clean shiny main elements, but dust and hair in corners and even sides of the bed. Very clumsy electronic light system in the rooms, with only 1 switch near the entrance! Only 2 lifts /escalators for hundreds of rooms mean you sometimes need to wait in queues. Staff are not uniformed, so you don't know who is who, especially inconvenient when using the valet parking. No concierge. Overcrowded pool. Definitely not a 5star hotel.

I will say the staff at the pool was exceptional! They were friendly and extremely accommodating. The staff at the front desk desperately need to be retrained in hospitality.

The rooms were dirty! I have pictures to prove it. The sheets hadn’t been changed, and had nasty stains on it. When I asked the front desk to have housekeeping re-clean the room. They informed me they suspended housekeeping services because of Covid??? Does that make sense to anyone? Completely unsanitary! Trash was left in the hallways all day. We went to Walgreens a few blocks down and cleaned the room ourselves. The service was horrible, the least they could have done was faked some concern, especially the manager. Never again!!! Great location but there are plenty of other places to stay in the vicinity. Collins Ave - South Beach

That the beach was so close & the hotel is super stylish.

Our room was not very clean. Clumps of hair in every corner, I highly suggest the cleaners use a vacuum. The pool cleaner showed up in the middle of the day to try and dump all the chemicals in. Drinks expensive and I wished they had a better food menu. The staff are friendly but either not very well trained or don't care to really listen to what you are saying. Most don't speak good English, which was a big problem. If you are a Spanish speaker, you will be fine.
