Elluz, one of the hotel managers upgraded us to a King suite in a different building. We were very thankful, the King Suite at the Dorset building was exceptional and much more to our standards. Taco Taco was my favorite restaurant at the hotel.
We initially had a standard 2 bed room booked that we stayed in on the first night however, the fridge was leaking, tv and air conditioning kept flickering on/off, and the mini bar tray was soaked for some odd reason. Only about 3 channels came in clearly and the , Ihome alarm clock wouldnt connect via bluetooth in either room we stayed in .
Bed was very cozy, bathroom was very Clean and bright and room decor was modern and updated.
there was no breakfast offered here Great staff
The beds were very comfortable. And the room had enough space and very clean. The staff were very helpful and nice to us. It was a great experience. I will do it again.
Catalina Hotel & Beach Club is in the middle of the action in Miami Beach, Florida. The atmosphere is upbeat and energetic just like the city of Miami itself. This hotel is funky with its own chic style. It’s fun and lively. The guest rooms have recently all been renovated. The mattresses have all been upgraded to Tempur-Pedic brand. The beds are covered with premium linens made of Egyptian cotton. There are lots of bright and vibrant colors accenting some of the rooms. Guests can choose from the Double Room, the Double Double, and the Living Large. Rooms have plasma TVs, iPod docking stations, and up-to-date furnishings in a light and airy environment. Inside the Catalina Hotel is Maxine’s Bistro & Bar. It’s open 24 hours a day and has a wide variety of American food on the menu. Just like Miami, the vibe in this restaurant is alive with energy. The outside patio is a great place to have a cocktail or sit and people watch. Also, guests can try out Taco Taco South Beach. The menu has lots of Mexican inspired favorites, margaritas, and Mexican beers to choose from. In the morning, visitors can make a stop at Red Bar for delicious pastries and a good dose of coffee. Miami Beach has enough to do to keep visitors busy for their entire trip and then some. The possibilities are endless. Guests can almost always find some kind of festival going on. Options vary based on the time of year, but there are music festivals, wine festivals, art shows, and so much more. No matter what brings someone to Miami, Catalina Hotel & Beach Club offers a very comfortable place to stay with unending liveliness and vibrance. This hotel has an amazing location for people who want to be in the action and enjoy everything this city has to offer.
