I would give this motel a 2.5 star! The lobby is nice and the staff was great! The room I was given however was not so great. Room 189... very small and dark. The only good thing was the comfortable bed, pillows and the amazing mirror in the bathroom! LOL The carpet definitely needs to be replaced, need better lighting and a coat of paint. I never walk around with my shoes on but I did this time. ...

Cedar Motor Inn is extremely dated. The rooms were dirty. They clearly had not had a good dusting in some time, as cobwebs hung in the corners. The carpet was extremely stained. The best was soft. Light came in through the threshold of the door when closed, and there was visible light in between the wall and the installed AC. Would not stay again.

Pros (+) Reading about how they built the hotel and the pictures they had in the lobby.
Cons (-) The rooms aren't set up correctly. We had had a long drive and were very tired. We unfortunately got to hear what the next room was doing all night because their headboard kept hitting our wall. Definitely not good for a family atmosphere. Then as we were leaving my boyfriend called me into the office to look at the books with the development of the hotel in them. I happened to look up and saw a o...

Cons (-) I was going through kayak with BOOKING.com and they over booked and my reservation was invalid. I was not charged but when your planning a trip it was very inconvenient since there was no other available motels in the area I had to cancel my entire trip. Not happy!
