It's not luxurious but it is absolutely all that is required. The hotel is very, very, very clean. Rooms were cleaned to such a high standard every day. the staff were very helpful. Pros: The location of the Princesa Playa is it's best feature. Only 3 minutes walk and you are in the Old Town of Marbella, with its charming narrow streets and restaurants. For people who like to do some cooking at "home", it is ideal with the kitchenette and microwave, and the Opencore is just around the corner for groceries. The wiev from our balcony over the sea and the beach promenade is great. If you get tired of the beach they have a nice small heated pool on the rooftop. Some people have complained about thin walls and noise, but from our room (108) we could only hear the elevator in the hallway, no noise from surrounding rooms.

Pros: The pension is located in the old part of town, down streets you cannot access by car therefore you need to put the coordinates into you sat nav as it will not recognise the name of the road. The pension was excellent value for money and its location was exceptional. The staff did not speak any English, we managed to park on the road free about a 10 minute walk away.
