Cons: Only one criticism we all had a flight in the morning with pick up at 07.40. Breakfast did not start until 7:30am, we were not even allowed to get a drink of juice prior. Would suggest that there is a facility for some sort of continental breakfast/ coffee for people departing early for flights, golf etc.

Cons: As it was the last day of the hotel being open (closing until March-2020), it was not possible to extend the time in the room. Maximum until 14:00 to keep the baggage and the spa was off limits. This should have been announced at the time of booking.

Cons: Rude staff who delivered a letter to each room on Saturday asking all guests to be out of the door at 12 on Sunday for end of season closing. No more warning when we booked. We were chucked out basically half way through a weekend away. Shocking behaviour. I will never set foot in s hotel under this ownership ever again. No notice, no apology, no discount offer on the last night. Just asked to leave....promptly. Couldn’t even leave the car parked during the afternoon. GET OUT was the message. We did and never to return. Waste of money.

Pros: The hotel location is excellent, within walking distance of the old center, plenty of restaurants and cafes, as well as shops. The front sea view room has excellent views and is totally worth the extra charge... you can hear the waves as you open the terrasse door... and you can enjoy daily sunsets from the convenience of your own room! Beautiful... The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and helpful. They helped us book our airport transfer, and a day trip to Gibraltar. They can book different day trips and advice on local restaurants... etc The breakfast buffet is varied and fresh. And the soleo restaurant has a really nice view as it’s located a few stairs below the promenade and directly on the sandy beach.

Cons: The wifi / internet was horrible. It was barely possible to connect to the network and the speed was not enough to do anything with it. I complained on the reception 2 times, nothing happened. Also, during almost every night there was excessive noise from the street and from other hotel rooms.

Cons: Some weird, antique process about filling out a form if you pay by card thru booking.com. Check in took forever, reception staff not very friendly, looked bored. Bed (single) is ultra-lightweight that moves across the floor when you turn. It's an ok property but please change this antique payment process, super annoying and implies a serious lack of trust IMO.

Pros: I checked in for one night with a friend who was due to arrive later in the evening. The receptionist was polite and helpful I had my car with me and being a Saturday late afternoon I did not want to pay the overnight Hotel parking charges, as I knew there is free parking on Sunday and it would be relatively easy to park near the hotel that evening for free however the hotel still allowed me to use the parking facilities without charge ,whilst I needed to park the car in the hotel carpark until I picked up my friend from the airport. I then parked the car in a public parking space and left it overnight. The hotel has been renovated and our twin room was a good size. Both the bathroom and the room was very clean and modern. I honestly can not fault the quality, service, location, and price. definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay in Beautiful Marbella.

Pros: We have stayed here a few times when we have had events or occasions on the coast and it is the perfect location. Walking distance to Orange Square, the beach, bars and restaurants and shops. The hotel has been refurbished and our room was excellent, large and comfortable. The staff, as always, are without fault.

Cons: With a car is difficult to stop in front of the hotel unless the load/unload stop is not occupied (it was all the time). Luckily there are tons of parkings around and you can hire a cheaper parking with then once you check in

Cons: I was visiting Marbella to recommend accommodation for solo female travellers but I wouldn't recommend this property. The room was really cold. It was next to the courtyard which was the common space which had no roof. I found it difficult to sleep because of the light through the curtains and the draft under the door. There didn't seem to be enough bathrooms for the amount of rooms either. I couldn't even sit up in the bunk beds and there was no duvet, just blankets in the wardrobe. There wasn't enough space for 3 people in the mixed dorm room with the luggage. There are a lack of kitchen facilities which were falsely advertised and the bowls were dirty. I didn't find it welcoming for solo female travellers. The only plus was the location.

Cons: I was quite surprised to find that one had to pay to use the swimming pool in the spa No robes or slippers in the rooms I did not expect this in a 4 star hotel . The gym was tiny .. I was roomed in top of a delivery unit which was noisy at times especially on the last night of my stay I complained about a smell from the bathroom but I was not informed about the outcome ... it cleared but that was not the point ....
