Pros: Exceptional accommodation. Beautiful ,spacious, and spotlessly clean throughout. Fantastic hosts who cannot do enough to make your stay so special and memorable. Superb breakfast and the cookie jar in the lounge contains the most delicious homemade cookies.
Pros: Breakfast was really good and our room had a nice sunset/sunrise view :)
Pros: Comfy bed Delicious cookies Piano n lovely sitting room
Pros: Lovely place. Linda was a great hostess and we loved the home-made cookies as well (thank you , Michelle). Breakfast was fresh and delicious. The room was very comfortably sized with plenty of light from the two windows.
Pros: Everything. Hosts were super friendly and helpful. Gorgeous room, comfy bed, huge bathroom, loads of storage and shelves etc. Lounge so well stocked with all kinds of info for each area in Nova Scotia - so much trouble taken compiling this. Great tea and coffee station PLUS the homemade cookies!! Just few minutes walk into town. Loved it all.
Cons: Seriously, this is a 'no comment'!
Pros: Among the many things we liked about the Atlantic Sojourner B&B was all the visitor information. Susan and Sebelle are like in-house travel guides. They take pride in knowing all there is to see and do in the Lunenburg area and how to get you there. And they have lots of resources: everything from detailed maps to restaurant menus. When you're new to an area and only have a day or so to work with, that kind of skilled direction matters a lot.

Pros: Room was nicely decorated. Comfortable bed, nice shower. A little sitting area outside the room provided a great place to sit and read as to not disturb my fellow traveler. Oh. And Breakfast was delicious-eggs cooked to order along with fresh fruit and other goodies.
Cons: Parking lot takes a bit of skill to get out of when full. But can’t complain much as parking is free.
Pros: This is the second time we stayed at the Sail Inn and we enjoyed our stay again! The Inn and rooms are lovely and the hospitality is great!
Pros: The location was in the heart of town but quiet. My husband’s eggs were cooked perfectly.
Cons: The bed was a little uncomfortable.

Pros: Charming town, nice room with a view and an awesome new clean humongous bathroom with a huge jettub. Friendly staff going above and beyond
Cons: We could hear the upstairs people walking
Pros: The host was very kind and welcoming. The rooms themselves were very pleasing in every aspect.
Pros: Excellent experience overall. Loved the gentleman who checked us in and served breakfast. It was a delicious breakfast with a very good selection. Comfy and sparkling clean room. Huge renovated bathroom with jacuzzi tub. Very centrally located. Easy to find parking and restaurants right across the street. We will return.

Cons: He may need to add some additional heating in the house.

With 16 beautifully decorated Victorian guest rooms, the choice is yours to have a view of the ocean or the gardens and park across the street. Included in your stay are complimentary tea and coffee supplies in your own room plus a delicious breakfast served in the dining room each morning. And don't miss the Deck: this closely guarded secret is the perfect place to meet at the end of a day of exploring to raise a glass with fellow travellers from around the world. Lunenburg Get in touch with your seaside The Boscawen Inn is located in the heart of "Old Town" Lunenburg, a picturesque fishing town in Nova Scotia, Canada. Lunenburg is one of Nova Scotia's most historic and beautiful towns. Lunenburg's colourful waterfront, narrow streets and captivating architecture radiates the flavour of the town's seafaring heritage. Dozens of historic buildings and homes dating back to 1760 have been beautifully maintained and the streets still follow the original Town plan of 1754. This dedicated level of preservation led to Lunenburg's Old Town being designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1995. One of the best aspects of Lunenburg is that, unlike many tourist destinations, this is still an authentic working harbour: fishing boats and boat builders line the waterfront and many locals still make their living here in traditional maritime ways. At just 55 minutes from Halifax, Lunenburg is an easy weekend getaway, a perfect business retreat destination and a must-see stop in your tour of Nova Scotia's gorgeous South Shore. Rates vary. Please contact us or visit our website for exact rate information.
Pros: A beautifully maintained historic property with great customer service and excellent location. The breakfast was delicious and hearty! Would stay here again!
Pros: Convenient location
Cons: Breakfast meager & ridiculous policy of no I purchased alcohol in common areas yet a limited bar menu. Did not get warm & welcoming feeling.
Pros: This was poor value for money. The room was small with heavily sloped ceilings - a maid's room. The only thing good about the place was the location.
Cons: The room appeared to be a converted maid's room with sharply sloping ceilings in both bedroom and bath. It could not even fit a shower. I was asked if I would accept a clawfoot tub with "shower hose", and assumed I could still stand up behind a shower curtain. But there was no way to stand because of the sloping ceiling. This was very uncomfortable. Be sure to avoid room 301. Breakfast was not served until after 8am. I asked for any even small early breakfast (a muffin?) and was told this was impossible because the breakfast is contracted in. I was asked by email when I would check in between 2 and 8pm so they could prepare the room. I asked for a 2pm check-in and arrived at 2:30. Finally got in at around 5:30pm. Felt sorry for the room cleaner who was struggling.
Pros: The styling of the house overall was nice and in keeping with the property. Lots of interesting artifacts to look at. The view from the room was good. Staff were generally friendly but breakfast service was slow.
Cons: The breakfast was pretty limited and the breakfast area was lacking atmosphere. The furniture in the bedroom was very worn with the seats badly in need of repair - torn fabric and zero support.
Cons: Only a very small thing, would have liked a kettle for making a cup of tea in the morning.
Pros: Very friendly staff! Great breakfast! Great location and view!
Cons: Lighting wifi poor
Pros: The inn was really well maintained and has a great charm. Rooms were very clean Breakfast was delicious and is cooked to order.
Cons: Staff are nice but could be more friendlier. Everything felt transnational. The Inn takes a deposit at booking, even though it says you pay at the hotel. It would be nice to know that information a head of time. Most shops in Lunenberg close at 5 PM, so I would keep that in mind when visiting here again. The beds squeaks quite a bit.

Pros: The view was amazing! It was on the older side but the room was huge and had a deck . We had main floor room so not an in convenience.
Cons: No elevator
Pros: There was no breakfast which was a great shame. Just a simple continental would have been great and not have to go out to look for something to eat.
Cons: Not being able to have breakfast!!!! Everything else was good.

Pros: Great location and value.
Pros: We had a great view of the harbour and sunset from our room. The bed was comfy and there was a coffee maker in the room. The Inn is right in old town and the location makes it easy to explore the colourful buildings of Lunenburg. The restaurant downstairs was popular and the food there was delicious. Overall it is a great spot to stay in Lunenburg.
Cons: As our room was right above the restaurant kitchen you could hear the kitchen exhaust fans until they turned off after 9pm. Soundproofing between rooms could also be improved.
The Lunenburg Arms Hotel is an ideal spot for travelers wanting to discover the city. After a long day of sightseeing, guests can retire to the comfort of the hotel. When it comes to Lunenburg County hotels, the Lunenburg Arms Hotel is highly regarded for its excellent facilities.
Pros: Comfy bed
Cons: No breakfast tea bags
Pros: Great view from room.
Cons: Advertised that there was an onsite restaurant with breakfast included but it was closed for the season when we arrived. Needed softer pillows. No counter space in bathroom.
Pros: Super friendly staff! We had to do a late checkout because my husband couldn’t wake up since he didn’t sleep well the previous night, I was trying to buy us for another night but was told the hotel isn’t open on Sunday nights. However, the receptionist did let us stay for another couple hours free of charge. I really appreciated this kindness since it’s exactly the couple hours that we need to get everything ready and get some shopping done. So a big thank you and applause for the exceptional customer service. I also love that it’s pet-friendly. They do charge a small pet fee. If you just want to stay a night or two and don’t want your furry child to be lonely in the empty house, this is a great option! The room is clean and bed is big. The view is pretty amazing too!
Pros: Great hotel. We visited in the off season and had a wonderful time.
