Pros: I booked this place for my parents; they cannot stop raving about it. They described it as one of the best places they have stayed at (and they are well-traveled)! They loved the layout of the room as well as the breakfast, and found the staff outstanding. They mentioned being so well taken care of. They were very sad to leave, and hope to be back one day. This also means I will be definitely booking there if ever I am in Bordeaux!
Cons: Nothing! They loved absolutely everything about their stay!

Cons: Absolutely nothing!
6,0 Good
Pros: The hotel was great, clean and very nice.
Cons: The night we arrived was a marathon which closed off all local streets for a mile so we had to walk with our bags. The band for the marathon was playing outside our window until 1:30 am. No notification from the hotel. Had I known, I would have booked a different day or hotel. Hotel concierge also didn’t warn me the trains would all be booked the next day due to the marathon. We had to wait 3 hours for an available train. I had asked the concierge how early we needed to buy tickets and she said we only needed to arrive 20 min early. We missed our dinner at our destination.

Pros: Attractive reception and breakfast room area. The receptionist were friendly and pleasant. Very good soundproof, as l didn’t hear any sounds from the next doors, although, those were occupied. Nice size of the room with blanket equipped.
Cons: The shower was without a full screen and bit difficult to use without splashing ....The coffee which we had to make ourselves by machine at the breakfast was not very tasty...The breakfast also looked attractive, but quite a few sweet cakes such as pain perdu, pain d’épice, yogurt cake etc... rather than traditional morning bread....it maybe the French style...? The bathroom door was opaque, but could show the lighting when the other person was using. So it was bit disturbing as we had different sleeping and bath time patterns.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Location, really central to walk around Bordeaux city center. Restaurants, stores etc all are around the corner
5,7 Okay
Pros: Could not be closer to the center of all activities-pedestrian shopping streets, riverfront , opera, restaurants and cafes, trams, tourist info center. room accessories. Positives focus on reception staff-very courteous, most helpful with restaurant bookings, taxis etc. if looking for clean, moderately priced hotel for basic functional needs in the core of this beautiful 18th and 19th century city, you can't go wrong.

9,2 Excellent
Pros: The interior courtyard, bathroom was super, breakfast was good although a bit French. Great location. Lovely building.
Cons: The WiFi was not very good in the bedroom, the music system did not work (not big issue), the free water was only offered in the first day.
2,0 Mediocre
Pros: Breakfast was too expensive!!!!!!!!!!!
Cons: This hotel is in dire need of an upgrade!!!! The floors are uneven; the shower does not drain; the fixtures are ancient, etc., etc. The room size is great. The location is excellent (very near the cathedral). EVERYTHING ELSE SUCKS!! For what they charge (300 euros/night!), it's a total disgrace. At least, replace that piece of dirty old rug in the elevator!
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent adaptation of classically proportioned smart town property. Room (Pessac-Leognan) had huge proportions with very high ceilings and long windows with double glazing leading out onto small balcony overlooking Main Street. Trams went by regularly but I didn’t notice them at night, perhaps they stop? Bathroom with bath and separate loo very adequate and use of room good for storage. Comfortable seating and good lighting(except modern main lampshade). Tea and coffee making facilities on landing outside room with the addition of waffles and syrup which was a nice touch. Staff very helpful on phone and at reception especially with complexities of car parking. Lots of lovely attractions of very interesting Bordeaux in walking distance or by hopping on afore mentioned tram.
Cons: Old fashioned lift is sweet but on one occasion had to run upstairs as someone had indeed not shut the gate properly.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: decoration, location and free coffee and cake in the morning were so lovely.. also staff helped us out a lot with dinner reservation etc.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Location is perfect! Right in the centre, walking distance or a short drive with the tram to everywhere. The bed was comfort, big room, the balcony facing the street was beautiful. The staff was very willing to help us with every question we had.
Cons: The bathtub is pretty uncomfortable. Too high and a little risky, it was ok for me, but for old people or kids, it can be dangerous. The staff tried to do their best, but the heating went off for one night and they solved the problem only the next day.

8,0 Excellent
Pros: I don't understand why this hotel is only a 2 star rating. No it doesn't have a restaurant. No it doesn't have a pool. But it is way better than some of the 3 star hotels in the area. It is very comfortable, very clean, heating and aircon are excellent, wifi is good, breakfast is also good, staff are superb, parking is easy and all for a very good price. So why only a 2 star, I don't understand. Will I use this hotel again, definitely.
Cons: N/A
7,1 Good
Pros: Bed comfortable, pillows the best anywhere.
Cons: The lift didn’t open at our floor. The electric key didn’t work for our room. To get into the hotel was almost impossible following the instructions. What was a code, pin or security number we had to juggle them all and which was for which. Bring back staff to be helpful to guest.

Pros: Everything! Location, staff, food, room, bed, huge bathroom, it was all fantastic.

Cons: Room , stuff , expensive, no any amenities for 4 star hotel
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Personnel
Cons: Nothing
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Location, style, comfort
Cons: Breakfast is offered on a strange and rather mean basis. Two options, one of which takes much of the buffet off your choice. Very narrow choice for €10.
5,8 Okay
Pros: Location, the breakfast was excellent, restaurant staff super nice, some front desk staff helpful. The bathroom floor was heated!
Cons: I got the worse room possible in terms of no window opening, no fresh air & too stuffy. The room was clean & well appointed but the lack of a window opening was a total bummer. Also, window faced a wall. Don’t get room 203!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Location (a short walk to the tram), spa access, nice restaurant with great breakfast. Nice finishes in rooms with great lighting. Loved the chandelier over the beds. It appeared that most 2nd floor rooms had a balcony, ours had 2 French doors leading to a long narrow balcony overlooking a quiet (for winter) street. Great helpful staff.
Cons: Our room 216 had plenty of closet space, although most was for hanging clothes. Minimal drawer or shelf space, with only a few shelves up high. As with many European hotels with smaller rooms, storage space could be better served by shelves and hooks for hanging clothes. Also our deluxe room had only a desk chair, no lounge chair.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Location was perfect. Also the staff at the reception was very helpful.
Cons: Bed. We asked for large bed and this request was accepted by hotel. However upon arrival we found out we had only queen size bed. We were told that it is impossible to get large bed for our type of room. Also the wellness area is very small and if you really want to enjoy proper stay in sauna - forget about this one.

Pros: The breakfast is perfect with salty food, which is not always the case for French hotels.
Cons: The situation is good too, although the street outside is a little bit dirty because of the dancing shops overnight. But I guess there is no way to change this, since it is not the responsible of your hotel to manage this issue.

7,1 Good
Pros: Rooms were clean and good Wi-Fi.
Cons: My husband ordered a shuttle from the airport back to the hotel after dropping off the rental car. We had ordered it at the front desk. It never arrived and he had to hire a taxi. When we complained to the front desk, they did not do anything to compensate us for the 15 euro expense - not even a glass of wine!

Pros: Location

10,0 Excellent
Pros: I came to you with my elderly parents and your staff treated them like gold and made their stay super enjoyable. Your location is superb for people with limited ability as Bordeaux is mostly flat and car free which is a bonus. I could not have been happier with my stay.

8,0 Excellent
Pros: Very good location, with a nice restaurant in the hotel. There's a supermarket right by too.
Cons: I would have loved to have a kettle and a cup. Wasn't sure why there was a microwave there, but they couldn't provide a kettle in the room.

Cons: All was fine
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Great location for the concert, and also for the tram into Bordeaux Good parking. Comfortable, spacious room and bed. Good breakfast too.
Cons: The room was slightly too warm, but not uncomfortably so. We didn’t work out how to turn the heat down. Had we stayed longer than one night, we’d have asked.
6,0 Good
Pros: A very basic hotel. One wonders what the Ibis-Budget hotel next-door would have been like. If you just need a bed for the night, its ok, but nothing more.
8,8 Excellent
Cons: No sockets close to bed.
6,0 Good
Cons: I would have thought there would be a mini bar/fridge in the room for the price. Also no milk provided in the room for the coffee, not even powder variety so had to go to the restaurant and ask for fresh milk each morning. Coffee and tea facilities were provided in the room, however the cups were of the paper takeaway variety with paddle pop stirrers. Come on Ibis, a little bit of class wouldn't go astray!

Pros: they have a nice bar and a restaurant inside the hotel very clean and nice room very kind and helpful staff
7,0 Good
Pros: close to airport, 5 min drive from the terminal front desk 24/7
Cons: A mid-range hotel chain can never be completely clean. There is a wall-to-wall carpet that gives it a little dirty and old feeling, no matter if it's true or not. There were stains on the carpet (apparently they have been there for at least a few years or months). When we wanted to book the hotel we did not know what time the breakfast would be, we wrote an email but they did not answer us so we booked a room without breakfast. When we arrived at the hotel we were told by the staff that we would have breakfast before the flight, but it was now double the money to order the meal. Unfortunately, we ordered it anyway ... Not worth it :-( I recommend driving to the nearest cafe / bakery and having a cup of coffee with croissant there. It could be because we were in great hotels throughout our vacation in France, every hotel was cleaner than the previous hotel, the food there was just tremendous! The thing is, the great hotels we were in were cheaper or at least at the same price level of this hotel. The only difference is that they did not belong to a hotel chain
