Cons: All good.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: This B&B is in a great location - very close to the old center of Derry. Very walk-able area. Parking was free on the street outside, and had enough space available. The breakfast was very good, and the hosts were lovely.
Cons: Our bed had a foot board, which is not comfortable for tall people like me. There was some minor noise at night coming from the neighborhood - typical with a room in a central location such as this.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Amore B&B is located just steps away from the city centre and even closer to the bogside murals, on a quiet residential street. Joan and Barry are literally the most lovely owners, ready to answer any question or recommend a place to eat. Breakfast was great - lots of choices and really tasty (I went for a vegetarian Irish fry-up!) Lots of free parking as well, which is handy if you're planning on leaving your car and walking around town for a day or two. I've stayed here before and would definitely stay again the next time I'm in Derry.
Cons: Can't complain - everything was wonderful!

Host was accessible and provided both a great breakfast and background on their family and home. Area was very safe and property provided enclosed, secure parking for our rental.

Pros: Rose Park House is a personally and professionally run B & B. We were welcomed by Thomas from the first moment we arrived and enjoyed every minute of our stay at Derry. He and the other members of the staff were very helpful and accommodating. The breakfast was great- as much or as little as we desired, and the time was flexible. The location was perfect for us- we walked through the scenic park down the hill to the city centre and either walked back or took a taxi for a very reasonable fare in the evening. I would certainly stay at Rose Park when visiting Derry in the future.

7,9 Good
Pros: Fantastic staff, comfortable rooms, great location close to Derry, great grounds to walk around, parking onsite
Cons: Restaurant needs to step it up. Leans more towards bistro fare and not elegant dining.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable beds. Clean room & bathroom. Staff very courteous and kind.
Cons: TV in room didn’t work. It just needed retuned due to a recent upgrade in the area. We asked at reception if this could be done whilst we were out for the day, but unfortunately that didn’t happen. Otherwise everything was fantastic
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Oh my goodness! This hotel was so lovely! We had an easy check-in and planned to leave immediately to check out the city; instead the draw of the cozy lounge kept us inside! The Guinness was fab and the fire (even though it was gas) kept us warm. The room was basic but comfortable. What we loved most were the lovely walks surrounding the property and also the photos throughout the hotel that told of its amazing history. I look forward to staying again. Oh and the breakfast was delicious!
7,9 Good
Pros: breakfast/location excellent
Cons: Had to wait for pet room to be allocated although it was pre-booked/bathroom door did not shut/only one door out of three opened on the wardrobe/ground floor windows needed nets as staff entrance was close by/lights on chandelier flickered and on bedside tables did not match/pet 'welcome' pack was received with a note saying that half of it had to be paid for!/laundry room overhead was not reasonable for a £150 per night fee.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We were upgraded to an Executive Suite with a Sitting Room, Master Bedroom & extra half bath. Wished we’d had more time to explore the grounds. We left our key in our room & staff had difficult time finding a second key. Bed & Bath were exceptional.
Cons: Restaurant food was not up to our expectations - limited selection. Omelette for breakfast was over cooked & greasy so another family member ordered poached eggs. Dinner prices were reasonable but would have paid more for better quality & variety.
10,0 Excellent

Very friendly staff who made us feel very welcome on arrival. Breakfast was very good with a good range of options including cooked breakfast. Twin room was large and very clean. 9,2 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Cons: It is very expensive for room, drinks and food.
7,9 Good
Pros: The hotel is quite nice and is located close to the city center although the 30 minutes walks might be too long for some people. If you have a car the hotel provides a car park and you can use the train station to get closer to the city. The bedrooms are quite big and nice and the overall hotel status is really good. There is a nice bar lounge in the hotel with piano performances in the evening.
Cons: The breakfast is quite good but we were surprised that they were not replacing the food that was getting finished in a reasonable time. After almost 45 minutes I need to ask to the staff some pastries as they was no one available when we went to the restaurant.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were so attentive. Especially Finian
9,6 Excellent
Pros: As I got married there a few years earlier the hotel sent a lovely chocolate cake to my room too say welcome back after 3 years, it was a really lovely gesture and my wife was over the moon. Honestly I wouldnt stay anywhere else in Derry
7,5 Good
Pros: Evening meal in restaurant was excellent. Wait staff were friendly but service was exceedingly slow. Bed was comfy. Breakfast was good.
Cons: Traffic noise was loud even with windows closed. It was extremely loud with windows open. I kept the windows closed which made it very hot as it is late July and there is no air conditioning in rooms. There was a fan, which helped, but the fan rattled loudly. The trash bin in the bathroom wouldn’t open with the foot pedal so I had to pry it open- YUK! The hotel should give their guests courtesy ear plugs.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great food. Staff were very efficient and polite. Wedding room looked amazing.
Cons: Bed quilts were too heavy for time of year. Too hot when covered up but too cold when cover off. A top sheet or lighter quilt would have been great.

8,3 Excellent
Pros: Clean, had a restaurant onsite, staff were great.

Cons: Room cold on arrival, had to get maintenance to sort out thermostat on the one radiator (none in Bathroom). 9,2 Excellent
Pros: The staff were friendly and very accommodating with our requests.
Cons: We were both on the 3rd floor which was difficult with suit cases and our bathrooms were on a different level.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: This was my first time staying in Serendipity House, I was looking for somewhere affordable as I am studying my masters and need somewhere to stay quite often rather than travelling (and someone who stayed here often whilst studying their masters last year recommended here) Serendipity House exceeded my expectations, from the room and the "lobby" area to the staff, and the breakfast in the morning - Everything was perfect! The cleanliness was second to none, and the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff was exceptional! I will be staying here very often in the near future! 10/10!
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Had a double room with en-suite. In Brand new section. Nice 10 minute walk to city wall. Friendly staff.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Cleanliness, newness
Cons: Back patio, I’m sure will be better/bigger in the future.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel standard, single room (which meant I paid less as a solo traveller: an option n.a. in hotels which are all doubles). Beautiful individual style bedlinen & furnishings (luxury, grey, white & glass). Towelling robe for shower room downstairs: on a return so had a window: loved it. Let them know I was coeliac: so they had GF (gluten free) bread and cereal. Loved the hot breakfast and the fresh fruit.
Cons: All good. They let me check in early. It's self check in so you have to pay attention to the emailed instructions: remember to place hand over keypad to "wake it up" (get a lights on response) before putting in the code. Easy!

Pros: Great value for money. Location was perfect and very easily found. Staff were friendly. Room temp was perfect, nothing worse than going to a hotel and not being able to breathe with heat. Loved the decor.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We loved the place! Even though we were there for one night and checked in abit later on and left in the morning, the system was really great (self service) . Self service breakfast to die for and all around comfortable atmosphere. Our room was spotlessly clean and would definitely recommend anyone to go here if they were in derry. No messing. No hassle. All around 10/10

Pros: Original location seemed ok
Cons: Was sent to a 3 bedroom apt over 3km away from town with no hot water. the young guy blamed his wife for giving rooms awy to another 2couples without check their id's. the hot water didnt work in the morning and we called him and he said he would come in 15 min. He never showed and never returned the many calls.. We ended up having to heat water in the kitchen in pots and having birdbaths in the bathroom. A chair broke in the kitchen while sitting on it. He did not reduce the price due to inconvenience. He only paid us for 1 going and return taxi fare into town and said that is all he could do and that we would not find another hotel and that we were getting a deal...!?! Horrible experience at the trafalgar ct #2 apt. Never again

Cons: no toilets in room
6,5 Good
Pros: The owner, Pat, was very nice and helpful. WiFi was good as was our breakfast (but no plain yogurt!).
Cons: Parking on road was not good, and toilet did not flush properly. Also room was quite small and sink was “tiny”. Shower fixture was loose.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very well situated, really good attention, Pat was really friendly and helpful. I'm very grateful and I fully recommend it.
7,5 Good
Pros: Location was good
Cons: Room was very warm plus I didn't realise my room did not have ensuite which is probably my own doing when making the booking. Bathroom was down the hall which could do with a new lock on the door.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: We actually ended up staying in Pat’s brothers B&B next door (Bishops Gate B&B) due to a plumbing issue with our room, but no bother at all as we got an upgrade to en suite. Pat and his brother were both great hosts, very friendly! Breakfast was good - we had a cooked Irish brekkie though continental was also available. Facilities are basic but there was everything we needed and you couldn’t find a better location for the price paid. There’s plenty of free on street parking outside, several pubs within two mins walk and only 5/10mins walk from the walls and town centre. Would definitely return!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Host was excellent ! Beautiful breakfast. A lovely place
Cons: Nothing
7,5 Good
Pros: Owner of the B&B was very friendly and gave us good tips. The B&B was in quite a good location and walking distance to the city centre.
Cons: Room was tiny (should have been a single), dark and bed was quite uncomfortable. Felt like a student property. The bathroom was basic, but fine. Didn't feel particularly safe leaving car on the street.

Cons: Owner did not respond to the door bell. I had to call him by phone to have door opened.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Very central location. Owner away but rest of family running it well. Very friendly and helpful and went out of their way to accommodate any requests.
Cons: I gave up with the TV, as on the blink. Otherwise fine.

Pros: The owner and his breakfast.
Cons: Room is small and no lift to take the luagguages.

Cons: WiFi was poor and unable to complete work that I had planned to do.
2,2 Mediocre
Pros: The towels in the room were good sized. The location was reasona 6ble.
Cons: This facility is not a good value of any type. The room was in shabby condition, the staff was indifferent and the restaurant was abhorrent. I have stayed at Motel 6 units in the mid 1970's, paying $6.00 a night and found them better. Do yourself a favor and stay away.
8,5 Excellent
Pros: Evening meal - delicious
Cons: Lack of staff in the restaurant making the dining experience longer than it should have been. WiFi access was sporadic (as it was on previous stays in this hotel, so not a one off)
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The room was spotless & the beds were comfy. Tea & coffee in the room & cookies. The shower was fantastic. We went for dinner in the 68 Clooney restaurant, had a piano play in the background, beautiful wind & the most delicious home made burger I’ve ever tasted. The breakfast choice was brilliant from all types off cereal, fresh fruit, hot food & freshly squeezed juice. Could not fault this hotel at all. Will deffo be back.

Pros: The room was excellent and extremely large. The staff are friendly and helpful and nothing is a bother to them. Aisling who's on reception has to be one of the nicest people I have ever met. 10,0 Excellent
Pros: I was in Derry for only 24 hours for a funeral. I was able to leave my bag at reception until I could book in later in the day. The staff, particularly the man on night duty, could not have been more helpful in helping me book a taxi for early next morning for the airport. The situation of the Travel Lodge was in the centre so it was very easy for me to meet up with family members. Thank you so much.
4,6 Okay
Pros: Had a good night's sleep.
Cons: Didn't like the location. Hotel was very basic. After paying for parking and breakfast found it more expensive than a four star hotel.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was lovely - just what we needed . We did not feel like a full breakfast but it certainly met our requirements. We helped ourselves and had a nice quiet leisurely breakfast. Very pleased
4,0 Okay
Cons: The initial welcome from the hotel wasn't that friendly, as we were early for check in - something that definitely wasn't available. On return we were checked in just fine. When I got up stairs, the corridor smelt kind of "old" - the room smelt a bit old too. Whilst the room was keen, the bathroom had a mug stain and what looked liked a blood stain (though was probably from the mug) on the sink side. The sink was cracked over half of it. The toilet roll holder was hanging off the wall. The windows throughout were difficult to open. One window was cracked and covered in plastic wrap. The radiators made a lot of noise in the middle of the night waking me up. The bed was positioned directly under the lamps, making sitting up in bed difficult. The TV was small and a good distance from the bed.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Hotel was quiet. Beds were v comfortable and clean. Room size was big and easy to control temperature. Good price and city location.
Cons: Bathroom was a bit "tired" and tiles shabby - but shower was good. No view from windows. No hairdryer
10,0 Excellent
Cons: Staff are very helpful and so friendly
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Always feel at home at this travel lodge :) love the area brings back lovely memories, my grandad use to live in Northern Ireland so do many of my family . I always feel welcome at this travel lodge staff are very welcoming :)
9,6 Excellent
Cons: The Information of booking.com "possibility to park the car" means, that directly at the hotel you have to pay at about 12 pounds for parking
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Nothing, I won't be back
Cons: The room was soo cold, it was antique the entire room looked like a former housing executive room in the 1990s , the TV was so small,,, room service wasnt great,, I would recommend every one to stay at the holiday in derry, just across the road,, it's not much more to pay than travelodge but so modern up to date and well located,, holiday inn all the way .
7,5 Good
Pros: Location was excellent. Didn't eat there. The dining room didn't look welcoming, to be honest.
Cons: The room was too small. We barely had room to walk around the bed.
