Cons: hotel was freezing cold, the food at the wedding reception was non existent, (not sure whether that was at hotels expense or wedding party) the food that was served was cold, i had stomach problems following day.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Very luxurious hotel in the centre of Belfast
Cons: Paid my bill on checking out and was asked had I used anything in mini bar, which I replied no,we never do.On checking my credit card account I was charged £9.50 on a seperate transaction I phoned the hotel and was informed the charge was for three packets of nuts and a bottle of water from the mini bar.I was told it must have been a mistake and apologized for the error.A refund was to be made to my card. Careless mistake by someone but I was not pleased.
Good 7,3
Pros: It's city centre location is excellent and having a very good restaurant on site with late night entertainment really made the night worthwhile.
Good 7,3
Pros: Piece & quiate.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: I love staying in this hotel on this occasion I mixed up our departure date and the staff were really understanding and allowed us to retain our room for the extra night.I particularily love the whole atmosphere at this hotel and it is always my hotel of choice when visiting Belfast.
Cons: Nothing we did not like.
Excellent 8,0

Cons: $review.cons
Good 7,6
Pros: everything was first class, from friendliness of staff to the quality of the room and the food.
Cons: the price was a bit steep, I probably could have got somewhere equally as nice in Belfast for cheaper.
Mediocre 3,2
Pros: $review.pros
Cons: This hotel needs serious renovation. The price did not match the quality by a long shot. The hotel needs to improve it's customer service.
Okay 5,6

Excellent 9,7
Pros: My stay was perfect from beginning to end
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Great location, very central, high quality accommodation - bed & bedlinens, large beautifully appointed room, large bathroom with good shower, wifi, amenities. Staff on reception and in restaurant were warm, friendly, welcoming and really knew their individual roles in the hospitality industry.
Cons: Wine list could have been more interesting, else nothing else negative to say.
Excellent 9,7
Pros: Perfect central location close to city hall and the continental market, and right next door to the grand opera house. Hotel was spotless and staff were very welcoming, will definitely be back
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Very clean rooms, well appointed bathrooms (ours had shower and tub), umbrellas en suite, nearby to all major city center attractions
Good 7,0
Pros: The accommodation is of a very high standard. Breakfast choice is excellent and the food is very good.
Cons: The twin room we had, had no space between the beds. It was like a double bed the beds were so close together.
Good 7,3
Pros: Excellent staff: everybody very helpfull, a groom bring me to my room at the arrival, and show me how everything should be used (light for example). Always somebody here just to help. Location in the center of the city, with many nice restaurants around at walking distance.
Cons: Price of the breakfeast is too expensive compared to thye european standart: 13 GBP for a classical continental breakfeast, and is you want some eggs, sausage or so (the classical english breakfeast), you will need to pay even more.
Good 7,0
Pros: The room was lovely, very big, and clean. Location was unbeatable.
Cons: I felt that the hotel staff did not even know that we were guests at the hotel. It is hard to describe but it was almost like u check in, stay, and check out. The first morning, our door was knocked on twice which woke us up. The second night the fire alarm went off at about 2am and also woke us up.... :(
Good 7,3
Cons: Everything was perfect but... in the bathroom there wasn't the toilet brush!
Good 7,7
Pros: Staff were welcoming, rooms were lovely. Breakfast was very nice. Staff booked tickets for a show for me and organised an excellent sight seeing tour.
Cons: The hotel looked for £400 to be put on my credit card which i found a little excessive seeing as cost of my booking was significantly less.
Good 7,6
Pros: Gorgeous room, lovely staff although I wouldn't expect anything else in ni, the service is always wonderful in hotels, restaurants, taxis and shops.
Cons: $review.cons
Good 6,8
Pros: Very friendly staff in reception and generally service was very good apart from the bar where there were some delays. Nice rooms and very clean. Great location and nice areas to sit and chat Good
Cons: Internet booking through booking engine was not good as they mistakenly charged for two rooms in advance where as the request was one prepaid room. The bar service on Sat night was not the best as there was a long wait. The directions on your website are very basic for somebody driving from Dublin and could be improved
Excellent 8,0
Pros: The hotel staff were very helpful and the standard of accommodation was excellent.
Cons: $review.cons
Excellent 8,0
Pros: The room was gorgeous, small but had all the space we needed for such a short stay. The bathroom was lovely and little extras liked candles around the room added to it all.
Cons: None
Good 6,8
Pros: Loved the location......the bathroom was fantastic !!!!
Cons: Color scheme in room and had to bypass sunday breakfast......45 Minutes !!!! apparently not enough help.

Pros: Super attentive staff, exquisite decor, yummy breakfast. My favourite shoes on sale in the hotel- bonus! (Christian louboutins)
Cons: Rooms were stuffy despite air con (windows could not be opened)
Excellent 8,0
Pros: The Merchant is a very luxurious hotel and even though it is in the heart of the City, we were not disturbed by traffic noise in the morning. The staff were very helpful and courteous. We had a lovely experience and would definately return.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Amazing Room and service would highly recommend
Cons: The selection of food in the great room
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Everything about the Merchant was excellent, but the quality of the room really stood out. We stayed in room 528 (a Deco deluxe room) and the view across to Victoria Square and the City Hall was worth the room rate on its own.
Good 7,7
Pros: The Merchant is a stunningly gorgeous hotel, the beauty of the building is only outshone by the excellence of the staff.
Cons: Nothing.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Everything, customer service brilliant, highly recommended.

Excellent 9,7
Pros: She let us check in early, recommended then called a tour can for us, let us eat a little early in order to head out to catch a plane in Dublin. Very nice!
Good 6,8
Pros: Loved the room design; location; car park; dollar value; At check-in the registrar asked if she could help and she booked us into a great restaurant for dinner. The smoked salmon option for breakfast was wonderful.
Cons: Could use another shelf in the bathroom...and a lift (dragging suitcases upstairs was a 'drag.'
Good 7,3
Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff. Large room with private bathroom. Computer with free Internet for guest use.
Cons: Can be very noisy depending on who the other guests are and where they are situated. I had one very quiet night and one extremely noisy one. There's also nothing really there in that area within walking distance. I had a car so it wasn't too big a problem, but it still would have been nice to have been able to find a decent meal without having to drive into city center.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Good breakfast and freindly staff.
Good 7,3
Pros: How welcoming room, hotel and staff is. I was sorry to stay only one night. The bed is very confortable and with quality linen. The living room is absolutely lovely and even have a computer for free internet use.Nice breakfast too, with some cooked options.
Cons: If I were to nickpick, I'd say that it would be desiderable a bigger TV screen size ans some more options of cerals for breakfast.
Good 6,3
Pros: Our room was large and open. Breakfast was really nice. The staff were helpful in booking a city tour for us, and giving us directions.
Good 6,0
Pros: The staff were exceptionally friendly
Good 6,8
Pros: Very good staff, room and breakfast!! Staff was accomodating, room and bathroom was big and breakfast was great. Also had computer we could use in the lounge which was needed for driving directions and internet access.
Cons: More hotel than b&b, but this was not a real problem.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Well kept, good interior design, really clean and modern inside, great service-host was delightful
Cons: None
Good 6,0
Pros: Lovely friendly reception from boss lady at booking in and at breakfast - comfortable accommodation with all necessary facilities - upgrade from supposedly smaller single bedroom to triple single bed room - overall very clean - excellent shower
Cons: Some light bulbs inoperative in bedroom - no between-bed table for 'bedside' storage - wallpaper starting to peel in bathroom - black staining within shower cubicle
Good 6,8
Pros: Good communication system, friendly staff. Request re taxi attended to. Facility clean and comfortable
Cons: Lack of lift facilities, especially with luggage to carry. Lighting quite dim

Pros: Was very good - no fridge in room and I had insulin injection - bit kept it cool in bathroom in water! A mini fridge would be a good option and offered when you arrive , even at a nominal cost!! Breakfast was really good! I have booked up again for July 2019 as i like the hotel and it's location however it is very expensive!
Cons: The prices for room service is very expensive and then you also have to pay an additional amount on top of price - didn't use it for this reason!! Think with the costs of room breakfast should be included!
Okay 5,7
Pros: It was centrally located. Our room was bare but clean
Cons: There was one member of the staff at the front desk that was particularly unhelpful. One of those people that follows the rules but doesn't go out of her way for anything. Unfortunately, don't remember her name, but she was small, young, and slightly chubby.

Cons: Very expensive with very limited amenities. The hotel kitchen closes early. SUPER Uncomfortable bed. The room was comparable to a dorm room in college. I requested a quiet room and was placed on the first floor. There is a dj playing loud music in the bar until 1am or so and I was able to hear every word of each song played. My breakfast in the morning wasn't even included and was pricey. I would not recommend or ever go back.
Excellent 8,0

Cons: Throw on bottom of bed was extremely dirty and waited 4 hours to get it changed. Lumpy pillows felt like sleeping on the floor. No hadwash in dispenser in bathroom. Steak too bloody , wasnt asked how I wanted it cooked. Young kids on rugby tour running around corirdors shouting and banging doors- no apology when I complained!!! Felt more tired leaving hotel when the Belfast trip was a birthday surprise for my husband.

Pros: Most of the staff were friendly. The rooms were not too small, bathroom was small but efficient and had everything you need, also good wifi. Convenient location as well.
Cons: There was a slight smell in the corridors, didn't bother me much but can be improved. I wasn't aware of any meal deals, but had a 3 course dinner at their restaurant - starters and dessert was great, the mains not so great as they were dry (chicken and burger). There weren't many food options though.

Good 7,4
Pros: Location, size of room, cleanliness of room
Cons: Stingy supply of tea, coffee etc, what was there was poor quality. Pool not organised i.e. Could have done with extra lane for swimmers, away from lessons. Spinner in changing room would have been appreciated. Cost of drinks in bar.
Good 7,1
Pros: Rooms were clean and tidy. Staff were good. Breakfast was ok too.
Cons: I got a room in the 3rd floor which was noisy for traffic. The toilet was noisy too. I only stayed for 2 nights and would have made more of an issue of it had I been staying for longer. The room rate was at the top end when compared with their local competitors (the Europa / The Fitzwilliam) etc) so I will consider them when returning to Belfast. Even so it’s still a good hotel but no longer my first port of call
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Being within walking distance to the shops as this was a Christmas shopping trip.
Cons: Nothing, liked everything
Okay 5,7

Okay 5,5
Pros: nothing totally disappointed was looking out at a blank wall no light in the room, no spoon to make tea,on two occassions when we left room we had to get staff to let us in as the door was faulty, was wakened from seven with piegeons cooing, staff wre exellent at all times breakfast lovely but i have stayed at hotels like premier inns for fifty pounds and the rooms and facilities were 5 times better wont be going back or recomending it!

Cons: the room was very poorly lit [natural light] and the view was dismal, also at 7.a.m. workmen at the back of the office block we looked out on starting emptying skips. it's a pity we couldn't get rooms next to each other, the internal phone did not work, so we had to go to our son's room on a diferent floor when we wanted to speak to him.

Good 6,2
Pros: Location was good.
Cons: Mildew smell in rooms, and large cracks in walls.
Excellent 8,8
Pros: Great location mere blocks to central Belfast at a good rate for such a nice hotel in the center of a major city.
Cons: Parking was a little far away and pricey. Staff while hopeful weren't as friendly as I'm used to. That may be a cultural thing because I'm American and I had previously spent a week in the 'warmer' Republic of Ireland but I found the staff here and at other places in the North to be much less likely to greet you or strike up a conversation. Not a huge deal but for me it helps to make me feel welcomed in a new place.

Pros: The personnel were just BRILLIANT! Especially Thomas (but also everybody from the front desk to the service room), a great guy who helped us to solve absolutely every single need we had throughout our stay at Radisson Blu in Belfast! Thank you so much for such a help, we’ll always remember him and his workmates ❤️
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Staff were simply amazing . Super friendly and helpful . They went up and beyond the call of duty to put a smile on our faces , help us with anything we needed . Gave excellent information and local facilities and places to try.
Cons: Only thing is that if both mine and my friends rooms were beside each other’s. But they were swamp and fully booked out and it didn’t dampen or ruin our weekend
Excellent 9,4

Cons: Nothing everything was perfect...Inever look at reviews
Good 7,0
Pros: The bedroom was very comfortable and quiet and facilities were good.
Cons: Breakfast was disappointing. Several items were not in the trays and had to be requested - pork sausages, mushrooms, potato bread, crispy bacon. They were supplied with a rather bad grace and crispy bacon never appeared at all. The food generally was under cooked . No fried eggs were available. The tea pot had no lid - a saucer was used.
Good 7,6
Pros: Good breakfast choice, clean hotel with a good location with a very modern look to it.
Cons: Checking out took longer than it should as only one desk was in use (there are 3 in total). There was a queue which should not happen around peak times (ie I was checking out at noon)

Pros: Great location, great staff! Room was spacious for 3 people! Enjoyed it very much! Highly recommend
Good 6,5
Pros: Extremely loud party on top floor. Awful noise. Pounding music. Drunks yelling in hallways late into the night. Have not experienced this party noise/vibe since college dorm days. Awful first night. Next night much quieter, but walls are clearly thin as we could hear next door TV clearly until they turned it off around 11pm. Would not suggest staying here on a weekend if parties scheduled. Bring your ear plugs. Included breakfast was very crowded, but food prepared well. Service staff spread very thin, but nice.
Cons: Noise! Party extremely loud on weekend.
Excellent 9,4
Pros: Great location arrived by train, Great Victoria Street station immediately adjacent to hotel. Concierge were very helpful in arranging tours. The room was not large but was comfortable and very clean.

Good 7,7

Okay 5,3
Pros: Location was good and the room was clean.
Cons: I felt the clientel were suited to a stag/hen party atmosphere. The fighting outside the door was not helpful to ensuring a comfortable stay.
Excellent 8,0

Good 7,7
Pros: Comfortable, very clean, polite staff and good food
Good 6,3
Pros: The availability of the Piano Bar into the small hours
Good 7,2
Pros: Staff were very friendly and patient.
Cons: My booking wasn't registered with the hotel when i arrived. Unsure if this was a booking.com error or hotel. However the problem was promptly resolved and i had a very pleasant stay.
Good 6,8
Pros: Size and cleanliness of room and large screen TV
Cons: Poor for guest car parking - I found this a big disappointment
Good 6,8
Pros: Good room - excellent resturant - great location
Cons: Was able to write clean me in the dust on the wardrobe shelf. My colleague was unable to check in until after 3pm and only then because we insisted that a room be made available before we left for an afternoon/evening meeting
Mediocre 2,8
Pros: The staff (front of house) were excellent - friendly and helpful. Having highlighted my dissatisfaction to the General MAnager, he was extremely quick to respond and deal with the situation.
Cons: Lots! The room was filthy - thick with dust, dirty bed linen, leaking sink, incorrect number of towels replaced - same with tea/ coffee facilities. Cracks in the walls - and the duvets would have been great if there had been a Siberian winter and double the size of thebed..... Think that sums it up!
Mediocre 2,8
Pros: nice receptionist, kind
Cons: cleaning staffs are doing nothing. I asked the reception to clean my room at 10am and I have left. Nothing has happened and when I came back to the hotel at 3pm, room was not clean... terrible. Dirty carpets, still cold in the room.... really bad experience
