Excellent 10,0
Pros: Joan and Barry provided warm Derry hospitality and were so authentic and lovely. Breakfast was everything you could ask for and more. Rooms are spacious and impeccably clean. Location couldn't be better to access the town center, Bogside, and murals.
Cons: Nothing to fault.
Excellent 10,0

Pros: Very nice host, awesome breakfast, and short walk to all sites
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The breakfast was very tasty and filling. The location was very good, just a few minutes walk from city centre
Cons: Nothing. Everything was to our satisfactory,
Excellent 9,6
Pros: Great location, tucked in near the murals and walls. Barry was very helpful with local information and Joan’s breakfast was delicious.
Cons: The USB ports in the wall were dodgy for charging devices.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Everything was excellent about the b&b and the owners were fantastic, went way beyond their duties to help, brilliant people. I will definitely be back again and will strongly recommend this place to everyone
Excellent 10,0
Pros: *We received warm welcome *host showed us all city sights *clean and well organised room *we will recommend more to our friend *Irish breakfast was amazing
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Joan was so lovely.. Very helpful.. Great location
Good 7,7
Pros: Brilliant hotel and lovely friendly owners. Couldn't be more helpful. We moved to Traveldoge for our second night because we weren't orignally doing two nights and wish I could have stayed another night at the Amore.
Good 7,3
Pros: The woman who attended us was lovely, she explained us absolutely everything we needed to know about Derry. Also, she was nice when we asked for some coffee the next day for taking out, and she came back with coffee... and pancakes! Room was very good, warm and clean. Just the stairs are a bit noisy.
Okay 4,7
Pros: the experience of staying in the bogside!
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Excellent B&B, well well located in the Bogside, friendly and very confortable.
Good 7,2
Pros: Staff welcome friendliness good food comfort ambience
Cons: A bit overpriced for b&b
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Barry and Joan (the owners) were extremely kind and hospitable, and very helpful in answering all of our questions about the area. The B&B is right in the heart of the Bogside neighborhood, so if you are interested in the history of the troubles (ie. Bloody Sunday), this is the place to stay. The murals, Museum of Free Derry and memorials are literally a 30 second walk from the front door. The walled city is about a 2 minute walk, as are all the pubs, restaurants and shops you could possibly need. We will definitely stay here again!!!!
Cons: $review.cons
Excellent 8,0
Pros: I was very pleased when I got to Derry city and phoned the B&B for directions, Barry came to meet me and I followed him to the B&B, also Joan was very welcoming and friendly and went out of her way to make us a late breakfast on Sunday morning.

Excellent 9,6
Pros: A gem. Gorgeous large room with a double bed and two single beds. The property has been restored to it's original glory with great care and attention to detail. We had such a warm welcome from the family who looked after us extremely well. Breakfast, which was full Irish and lovely, was iserved n a beautiful large lounge which has a coal fire crackling away. Nothing was too much trouble. This bed and breakfast would shine amongst the very best hotels. Cant wait to return.
Cons: We couldn't fault this accommodation at all.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Delicious, large portion in a quant, old English (?) setting. On time when we asked to be served.

Okay 4,0
Pros: Location
Cons: Dirty water glasses - stain at bottom. Small curly hair in bathroom sink. Breakfast spoon was dirty Reception host did not even acknowledge us as we walked past him No one at reception when we were leaving and the 2 young members of staff who were standing near by moved on as we approached the desk
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Very welcoming. The place was warm and cosy. Felt very peaceful and serene. As usual breakfast was immense!
Cons: Leaving!
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The staff eere so welcoming. The hotel is a wee gem that is so relaxing
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The first thing I have to say about the beach hill is how lovely all the staff were ! Every last person we met from the second we checked in until we checked out couldn’t have been nicer. Including the restaurant staff. It’s perfect for a quiet night away. I loved how it felt so far away from the city but still so close to everything at the same time. We had our room upgraded to a suite and it was just beautiful ! Thanks to ashley at reception who asked us what the occasion was. Wished we had more time there.. so overall I would definitely stay again and recommend it :)
Cons: Nothing at all.
Excellent 10,0

Good 7,7
Pros: the rooms were amazin
Good 6,0
Pros: The size of the rooms
Cons: the dining room was to over the top as far as the meals - food was really nice although waiting in the bar area just made you buy a drink when you would not have normally bought one
Okay 5,0
Pros: Breakfast and having the interent in my room
Cons: I thought the hotel and grounds needed a complete upgrade. There was a lot of rubbish on the grounds.
Excellent 8,0

Pros: The atmosphere
Cons: Not really
Excellent 8,0
Pros: The hotel upgraded us to a master suite at no extra cost. We had dinner at the hotel on Saturday evening which was lovely.
Cons: After the standard of the evening meal we were slightly disappointed in the breakfast. This was on a self service basis and the range on offer was extensive but not as high a standard as the evening meals
Good 7,2
Pros: Ambience - "Old World" charm. Restaurant menus excellent. I like the fact that my breakfast was "served" and cooked on request as opposed to "buffet style"

Pros: It was close enough to the city centre that we could get a taxi and local taxi man was really helpful in knowing which restaurants would be best to go to. Even went as far to say that the one the hotel staff suggested was awful and he spoke to the Waterfoot hotel on our behalf to fit us in before closing time.
Cons: We came up for the night to celebrate my fiance's birthday and went down to dinner at 7:30 to be told the restaurant closes at 7pm. We only checked in at 4 so thought we could safely assume we could eat at the hotel restaurant without having to check if it was closing early. In hindsight maybe I should have asked the fella on reception but then after getting dinner at the gorgeous Waterfoot Hotel we went back to our hotel to have a drink in the bar which we were told would be open to then be told that it was closed and we would have to have our drinks on the lobby. Not a great service and we were really disappointed. Don't think we'll be back.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Great breakfast The room was on the first floor across from the store so a lot of noise when the cleaners started but we still had a great time. The bar is not really a bar but a bistro and from the minute you walk in you feel that unless you are having food you shouldn't be there but having said that it was lovely and packed with diners.
Cons: The Bar, maybe they should have a small section and set it up as a cozy bar for those who don't want to eat but have a few drinks.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Just a few miles outside of Derry city. £8 taxi fare. Great little locally run and staffed hotel. Would definitely stay again
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Friendly staff good bed good breakfast
Cons: Could hear people passing my door but not rowdy . When I went down for breakfast the dining room was like the Marie Celeste ... I couldnt find anyone but it was only for about 5-10 mins and I was the only diner ...
Excellent 10,0
Pros: It’s character & friendliness, staff were very accommodating a pleasure to see. Bed was so comfortable & roomy, breakfast was excellent !
Cons: Worn headboard took the shine off the room...
Okay 5,7
Cons: I didn't like the stairs. One of our party was an 87yr old lady and I suffer from knee problems. We were not advised when booking that there was no lifts and also we were not asked if it would be a problem with stairs. Our room was also very cold.
Good 7,7
Pros: i enjoyed the breakfast in bed,the breakfast was out of this world.
Cons: that we had to go outside and walk up to the other ball room.
Good 7,7
Pros: The food was excellent and Staff very effectient
Cons: No complaints
Good 6,4
Pros: Nice location and easy drive to londonderry and surrounding places
Cons: None
Good 6,3
Pros: Spacious room and well appointed. Excellent food.
Cons: Noisey fire door on landing near my room 102 guests allowed the door to bang constantly up until 2.30pm also bathroom door almost impossible to openm
Good 6,0
Pros: As it was an overnight stay hardly qualifies us to give any detailed assessment other than to say that we were happy with what we saw.
Cons: My moto is that if you go looking for bad points you will find them but as we saw things we were pretty well content.

Mediocre 3,0

Okay 4,0
Cons: Room cold on arrival, had to get maintenance to sort out thermostat on the one radiator (none in Bathroom). Good 6,0
Pros: Value for money
Cons: Breakfast was quite a shambles. Huge queues and a table in the middle of the restaurant (a very large tbale that everyone could see) covered in all of the dirty plates/cups etc. this should have been removed to the kitchen and not left on site.

Pros: Everything
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Really friendly welcoming staff, great facilities ie good swimming pool, sauna, steam room. Spa was relaxing. Food was amazing. Room was very comfortable, clean. Entertainment was good in the bar.
Cons: Could of sign posted way to pool a bit better.
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Loved everything including freshly made pancakes lol only issue was I'd asked in advance for something to be put in room to say happy birthday like a plate with chocolate writing 1which was confirmed in an email but it didnt happen . It's not a big deal oh and also the pillows for me personally were abit hard to sleep on I get bad headaches from pillows like this but I used to cushions that were there and problem solved lol
Cons: Pillows ,people running up and down halls are 2 am in morning being very loud.
Mediocre 2,2
Pros: The towels in the room were good sized. The location was reasona 6ble.
Cons: This facility is not a good value of any type. The room was in shabby condition, the staff was indifferent and the restaurant was abhorrent. I have stayed at Motel 6 units in the mid 1970's, paying $6.00 a night and found them better. Do yourself a favor and stay away.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Very helpful staff. Restaurant was great
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Very friendly staff and very nice food
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Comfy bed, complementary cookies were amazing and overall great facilities. Gym was amazing for a hotel gym. Food was exceptional.
Cons: I booked the spa quartz package which was great but didn't get everything as exactly described in the package. No relaxation room as such,no sorbet and no prosecco with lunch. No issue, was still very enjoyable but might be worth updating details to reflect what is actually included. I still had a great time regardless and was good value for money.
Excellent 8,3
Pros: good at lower price
Cons: bit more choice at dinner
Poor 1,0
Pros: Nothing. Wasted my weekend and money
Cons: Thought the reception staff were rude. On arrival with no booking were told only a twin room with two single beds available so went online and booked a double at a lower rate. Had to wait for the room to be put in service in which the staff didn't seem pleased about. Restaurant staff rude and forceful with alcohol. Was told only certain foods were available on the menu but other customers got what we were refused. Used quite alot wont be going again. Thanks
Good 7,0
Pros: Cosy bed and clean rooms. Nice breakfast.
Cons: Basic "spa" - my treatment room was a coverted broom cupboard. Quite far out of city but easy to access taxi. Bar empty on Sat eve - poor atmosphere. Grounds had empty vodka bottles in them.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: We had arrived after an early morning flight and my daughter and her friend were exhausted, we arrived at 9.30 am and the hotel managed to give us a room at that time so that they could have a sleep as they were dancing in a competition later that day in the hotel, I thought this was a fantastic service.
Cons: None
Good 7,7
Pros: Our room was really lovely and much bigger than we had anticipated so great value for money.

Good 6,7
Pros: Location near to places of interest.
Okay 5,7
Pros: pleasant room and reception staff
Cons: Decor- very strange, heavy and dated.Bar staff very unhelpful. Arrived at 9.30 and was told that it was too late to even get a sandwich- had to dine on crisps and peanuts fron £1 machine
Good 6,0
Pros: The reception was very welcoming with a roaring fire and very pleasant and obliging staff.
Cons: The bathroom, while very clean was pretty basic. The bath was very small and the shower was only adequate. The bath gel was in a bottle fixed to the wall which made it almost impossible to squirt it into the bath. Also I didn't like that the 'double' bed was two single beds pushed together. The ridge down the middle doesn't make for comfortable sleeping.
Good 6,0
Pros: Staff were very friendly and efficient. Food was excellent. Rooms very clean and comfortable. Excellent location for quiet get away and not too far from lots of places of interest.
Cons: Room was double booked. Toilet did not flush correctly and a light was broken in the room.
Good 6,4
Pros: The staff were very friendly, when I arrived while waiting for my room I was offered a coffee which was brought to me in reception. The manageress of the restaurant was very helpful and the Sunday roast beef lunch was excellent, and indeed was very reasonably priced. I found all the staff extremely friendly and courtious. The location of the hotel was very quiet, and only a mile or so from the Derry airport, with local buses and taxis all available into Derry City. Excellent breakfast.

Pros: My booking at Travelodge Derry represented great value for money and the location was also ideal as it was within walking distance of all the places I was visiting during my stay.
Mediocre 3,3
Pros: Nothing, very disappointed with the cleanliness of the hotel and in particular my room. I have made a written complaint to Travelodge.
Cons: See above
Mediocre 2,7
Pros: Nothing, It was horrid. Filthy, Smelly
Cons: Dirty, Uneven bed, smelly, noisy, distorted TV... you name it it was just disgusting. Never book this place!
Okay 5,7
Pros: easy access to city centre
Cons: felt the rooms were a bit worse for wear since last i stayed and even after complaining we still had no hot shower after four days
Okay 4,7
Pros: location to shopping
Mediocre 3,2
Pros: size of room
Cons: We did not sleep a wink. It is situated across from a night club. It was a wednesday night however wasn't quiet til at least 5 in morning. I would never stay again.
Mediocre 3,6
Pros: Central position
Cons: I don't mind basic, but this Travelodge was grubby, very shabby and very noisy til 3am. The cost of overnight parking seemed excessive too. This used to be a pleasant place to stay, but all the quality fittings were either broken or missing. Quite a disappointment.
Okay 4,4
Pros: Centre of Derry so very handy
Cons: The hotel was not clean
Okay 4,8
Pros: location, entrance from parking structure; good bed and bathroom
Cons: we stayed in the Tory Suite; which is also room 107, but it does not say so on the first door to the room, we felt idiotic looking for room 107; staff was unhelpful in this respect; also the lack of direct light from the window made the room claustrophobic; electric lights in the room were not very handy, made reading in bed impossible

Pros: Central location
