Raging party on Saturday Night!
Extremely loud party on top floor. Awful noise. Pounding music. Drunks yelling in hallways late into the night. Have not experienced this party noise/vibe since college dorm days. Awful first night. Next night much quieter, but walls are clearly thin as we could hear next door TV clearly until they turned it off around 11pm. Would not suggest staying here on a weekend if parties scheduled. Bring your ear plugs. Included breakfast was very crowded, but food prepared well. Service staff spread very thin, but nice.
Noise! Party extremely loud on weekend.
Convient downtown hotel. Helpful staff, great amenities. Historic grand dame.
Great location arrived by train, Great Victoria Street station immediately adjacent to hotel. Concierge were very helpful in arranging tours. The room was not large but was comfortable and very clean.
Great location, great staff! Room was spacious for 3 people! Enjoyed it very much! Highly recommend
Location and room layout
The very helpful Staff!!
Location was good and the room was clean.
I felt the clientel were suited to a stag/hen party atmosphere. The fighting outside the door was not helpful to ensuring a comfortable stay.
Fast, friendly service, excellent food & accommodation, efficient late bar and the valet car parking facility in a busy City centre is a definate plus.
Comfortable, very clean, polite staff and good food
The availability of the Piano Bar into the small hours
Staff were very friendly and patient.
My booking wasn't registered with the hotel when i arrived. Unsure if this was a booking.com error or hotel. However the problem was promptly resolved and i had a very pleasant stay.
Size and cleanliness of room and large screen TV
Poor for guest car parking - I found this a big disappointment
Good room - excellent resturant - great location
Was able to write clean me in the dust on the wardrobe shelf. My colleague was unable to check in until after 3pm and only then because we insisted that a room be made available before we left for an afternoon/evening meeting
The staff (front of house) were excellent - friendly and helpful. Having highlighted my dissatisfaction to the General MAnager, he was extremely quick to respond and deal with the situation.
Lots! The room was filthy - thick with dust, dirty bed linen, leaking sink, incorrect number of towels replaced - same with tea/ coffee facilities. Cracks in the walls - and the duvets would have been great if there had been a Siberian winter and double the size of thebed..... Think that sums it up!
nice receptionist, kind
cleaning staffs are doing nothing. I asked the reception to clean my room at 10am and I have left. Nothing has happened and when I came back to the hotel at 3pm, room was not clean... terrible. Dirty carpets, still cold in the room.... really bad experience
