A great location with lovely amenities.
Rooms are tiny and it can be noisy at night.
1- The location is great, nearby underground station and 3 bus stations 2- The staff were very nice
This is my second stay at La Suite West, I stayed here in 2018 and it was great and met my expectations. But this time was WAY below our expectations and we would never come back. I booked a regular deluxe room and a suite, but the surprise was when we arrived after a long flight, we were shocked. The rooms were so small! The suite was horrible, too dark, too small we couldn’t even fit our luggage on the floor without stepping on them. NOTHING looks like the pictures on booking that we paid for. It was shocking and disappointing. We contacted the manager but she asked us to wait until morning to change the rooms and when we packed our luggage in the morning she asked us to wait until noon because the hotel was fully booked, we refused because we couldn’t wait that morning we had plans. But again this stay was really disappointing, we paid a lot of money to get to enjoy the suite and the room but unfortunately, it was horrible. (The attached images are for the "SUITE" that looks nothing like the website)
New modern room, Bath room exelent Location perfect
Too much noise from an Electric heater fan, also too much noise from Steps from The floor over room 001
The shower was nice and the staff did their best.
Big sticky patch on carpet next to bed that our slippers literally stuck to,decor in room shabby ( black marks all over white walls), black paint all flaking, carpet fitted badly so you could see floor underneath, room very small and basic compared to photos on booking.com of apparently the same room, hotel is located opposite some kind of youth hostels that were noisey into the early hours, when asked to be moved into another room staff did their best to re locate us but no rooms available so offered free breakfast which unfortunately is completely vegan. Also paid a £50 deposit in case we damaged anything in the room( not sure what we could have damaged) this also over a week to be refunded.
The photographs made everything look larger and more modern that it was - the corridors were a bit run down and the junior suite was very small.
Located on a quiet street on the edge of London's magnificent Hyde Park and close to the West End and Paddington, this boutique hotel is the minimalist and latest creation of famed British designer Anouska Hempel.Ranked one of the worlds top 100 interior designers and architects, Anouska Hempel has also made a name for herself in landscape design and high fashion and has owned, designed, and managed several award-winning, luxury boutique hotels. Here at La Suite West, the aesthetic takes the shape of a stark temple of black and white, where clean lines meet sharp angles and sculptural forms. A corridor of inky-black marble floors leads guests up to an unusually long white marble reception desk.In the garden, crisp lines and sculptural forms that characterise the hotels interior are echoed in meticulously pruned plants, trees and hedges. Leading from the hotel RAW restaurant, food and beverage service is available, making it the perfect location for mocktails or afternoon tea.
