At Paddington station so super convenient to the Heathrow Express. Fabulous breakfast, as good as we’ve had in London.
The Paddington Hilton is in a great location. Coming from the airport with luggage, it's very convenient. The bed was comfortable and the curtains make the room dark. When we did have hot water, the shower had great water pressure. However, it's very outdated. The bathtub didn't feel very clean, our last night we didn't have hot water, there was loud construction every morning outside the window and there are no USB or USBC plugs in the room, only UK plugs. Most hotels have updated this by now so you don't need to buy converters anymore. There is also no plug in the bathroom for the blowdryer. You have to use the blowdryer in the main area. I usually always suggest this hotel for the location but I would feel a little embarrassed suggesting it now. I think they need to do a few updates.
Pros. Convenience at Paddington Station, Heathrow Express, and London Underground.
Cons. No swimming pool and not any very good restaurants within walking distance of hotel.
Pros. The location was perfect for travel to the airport and access to the underground. Could not be better. Staff went out of their way to make my stay comfortable.
Pros. If you want to have a fast access to the Heathrow and the city, this is the best location. The Paddington station is its backyard. It takes 15 minutes to LHR through Heathrow express and to other places within London through the tube.
Cons. You should avoid staying there for any days above 70F. The AC in the room is virtually non-existing. I put the fan speed at high and temperature dial to the maximum (- side). Yet I still have to open the window in a rainy 60+F day to get the breeze in. So avoid it in Summer.
Pros. Position is great, breakfast was good
Cons. Aircon was leaking continuously in the room No answer after 5 attempts to phone reception
Pros. Location Friendly and helpful staff Breakfast included Quick service when my in room safe didn't open and I Had a train to catch
Cons. Long breakfast line but handled efficiently.
Pros. Breakfast was excellent.
Cons. Waiting for room availability during check-in without an approximate time when room would/could be ready.
Pros. I expect the level of quality when I come to a Hilton hotel. I am pleased that this hotel lived up to that standard. It's a great location especially if you are coming from or going to Heathrow airport.
Cons. I booked my stay not directly through Hilton and as a result, I did not get Hilton honors points. If you allow a non-Hilton company to offer your product you should also offer everything that goes with it.
Pros. Convenient location and can enter from Paddington Station. Good for a quick 24 hour visit. Staff was very friendly.
Cons. Rooms are dated and no blow dryer in the bathroom.
