Pros: Location, staff, extras, breakfast arrangements. But we booked a bigger room.
Cons: Absolutely nothing
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Best Location. Top service by the staff
7,9 Good
Pros: Fantastic location! We got an upgrade to a suite - that always helps. The rooms are well appointed, with modern contemporary decor. The library + lounge at the entrance is very nice too - with a great collection of art books as well as classics such as the Brittanica... The staff are knowledgeable and helpful - some are better than others though. There are complimentary drinks in the lobby every evening. Good, powerful wifi. They dont have a restaurant of their own but have arranged for breakfast with a restaurant in the same building as well as with another restaurant two blocks down.
Cons: Cleanliness in the room could be a little better...
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff is extremely friendly and always try to upgrade me and my girlfriend when we stay a night. The lobby is very cozy and has lots of games and reading material, plus free drinks and snacks. The rooms are extremely trendy and modern, but also comfortable. When visitors come to Tel Aviv this is the first place I send them to stay!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Concierge service was nonpareil! During our week, they provided maps, guided tours, taxis, restaurant reservations -- and even patched up a member of our party who needed first-aid after a minor fall! The cappucino machine was available at all hours (with juice and pastries for breakfast), and an afternoon glass of Lambrusco in the comfortable lobby was most welcome.
Cons: No complaints at all! Highly recommended on every score!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were so welcoming and helpful. The room was lovely. We felt cared for and like we had an in house tour guide to answer our questions. They also offer a nice happy hour in the evenings which tends to bring the guests together in the comfortable lounge area. A true home away from home with a location that's close to shops, restaurants and sites too. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff. Great service.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was very nice and helpful. We didn’t have breakfast. Great location. Lobby always had free water and cookies and the free happy hour with alcohol was a pleasant surprise .

Pros: Breakfast was light but was ok overall. Neighborwood was good
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The location is great, in the heart of Florentin!
Cons: During the nights you can have some noise of the local bars + people on the street. (This comes together with the super location)
10,0 Excellent
Pros: It was so comfortable and nice that I booked twice during my stay.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: This place was truly awesome, beautiful, full of style, located in the perfect spot in florentine, and less than $80/night makes it an insane value in TLV. 10/10!
9,4 Excellent
Cons: The military camp style everything reduced to barebone minimum is perfect for me! Internet connection very good!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: I really like the staff here - they went out of their way to make sure that I was comfortable and happy! The room and bathroom were cleaned daily and new towels were provided each day. Nice communal kitchen on the rooftop. The location is brilliant - on a wonderful street with plenty of cute bars and cafes. Good vibes here - I would certainly stay again!
Cons: There was only one bathroom (toilet + shower combo) in the 8 person dorm. This can be inconvenient when trying to get ready in a hurry if you have to wait for someone else to finish!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: A great place in the heart of Florentin. The hostel is modern, renovated, very well maintained. Nicely furnished rooms, beautiful bathroom. Everything needed in the rooms. The service was very nice and very helpful. Breakfasts at nearby Casbah and Florentin 10 are also good. Casbah convinced us more. I highly recommend.
Cons: Everything was good :-)
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The location was great...not too far from the beach and in the most interesting neighbourhood, with lovely places to eat near at hand. The room was lovely with a super bathroom and staff members were really helpful.
Cons: Just once or twice there was no ordinary milk available in the upstairs kitchen, so it made it difficult to make tea and coffee. However, the staff member behind the bar was able to give us some on one of these occasions.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Florentin House is a great base from where to explore Tel Aviv, both the new and the old part. It is advertised as a hostel, but definitely has a hotel feel to it in terms of interior design. The rooms were very comfortable, simple yet chique. We loved the rain shower in the bathroom! Staff was extremely helpful, upon arrival we were even given two vouchers for a free beer at the hotel bar.
Overview Reviews
In the heart of the most talked-about boulevard in Tel Aviv, the corner of Rothschild Boulevard and Nachmani street, the Hotel 65 glitters in the shape of a round, elegant cylinder that rises above the tops of the ficus trees. The special configuration transmits a modern retro style, from the outside and inside. The hotel’s charm lies in the combination of postcolonial imagery from the beginning of the 21st century and local touches that together produce a unique design. The various floors’ reserved coloration and lighting design disperse a sense of elusive and adventurous mystery. In the lobby is Café 65, which serves hotel guests and visitors one of the city’s best breakfasts. At the entrance to the hotel, in a colorful garden overlooking Rothschild Boulevard the ‘Fontana’ bar has recently opened to serve hotel guests and the city’s residents from 5:00 PM – 12:00 Midnight. HAPPY HOUR is served between 6:00 – 8:00 PM during which time hotel guests can enjoy a complimentary first drink and a 30% discount on the food menu. Hotel 65 is a masterpiece of cordial hospitality.

6,0 Good
Pros: Good value for money, the location is awesome, the property is in a very good condition and it’s fairly clean. The staff at the reception was above and beyond!
Cons: The only thing that REALLY bothered us was the lack of sound isolation from both our room windows and door. We woke up at 4-5am to the sounds of a garbage truck, plus we could hear every conversation that occurred on the corridor outside our room which was very annoying
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Cute hotel in the middle of the city. We loved the design, the candles:)
Cons: No parking. Use the hotel arrangement, we missed it...
10,0 Excellent

Pros: Availability of coffee/tea/biscuits all day, sometimes beer in the evening which we took in the patio behind the hotel. The breakfast in the joined café was interesting and good. Reception staff very nice and helpful!

Cinema - an Atlas Boutique Hotel - Tel Aviv - Building

9,0 Excellent (1 137 reviews)
R3 115+
Overview Reviews
Located in the heart of Dizengoff, one of Tel Aviv's most renowned districts is Cinema Hotel, housed within an authentic Bauhaus building dating back to the 1930s. The hotel was once one of Tel Aviv's first movie theaters, named Esther Cinema, and to this day captures the nostalgia of a bygone era with displays of original theater memorabilia showcasing the stories of classic films. Guests can immerse in the unique atmosphere by catching one of our movie screenings or relaxing on our spacious rooftop terrace, where evening refreshments are served. 83 spacious rooms have been stylishly designed for your comfort and enjoyment.

Pros: The AC worked well.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Nice hotel , comfortable beds, clean room and bathroom, great breakfast.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: The style and location
Cons: Nothing
9,7 Excellent
Pros: Historic decorations reflecting cinema origins. Nice included breakfast. Great location in the center of Dizengoff. Nice happy hour snacks. Nice views from 4th floor rooftop bar/balcony.
Cons: tight spaces in room and bathroom. difficult taxi/auto access for pickup and dropoff.
6,7 Good
Pros: The staff was extremely friendly; the woman who checked us in made sure to order breakfast boxes for us as we were leaving very early the following morning.
Cons: The rooms need to get a facelift! Very shabby..... the bathroom was too tiny.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect for shopping, dining, and drinking. The fountain across the street is lovely. The happy hour upstairs is very nice. It's a cozy space to relax at the end of the day.
Cons: This was the second time we stayed here. The first time, last year, the breakfast was better. We were a little disappointed. The food is fresh, but there was a better selection last year.
6,0 Good
Pros: Cleanliness
Cons: Room and bath was pretty small but this is my first time out of the states so this may be normal.
7,5 Good
Pros: The boutique hotel is a good starting point for a city visit as it is a representation of the Bauhaus style architecture in Tel Aviv, thus quite stylish. Location is very good, interiors and amenities in the common area convincing. Some goodies are offered such as delicious lemonade and cookies in the lobby in the afternoons, a very generous Happy Hour on the roof top every evening with free drinks and free buffet of crudités, salads, sushi at times, lovely desserts etc. The truly beautiful roof terrace was a great plus as it was a 24-hour meeting and lounge place, including sun deck for sun lovers. Free bicycles to use for 3 hours at a time is another useful extra provided.
Cons: Rooms are rather basic. Done ok for what they are, yet still nothing special and nothing that would really match the rest of the building. I had higher expectations, given the architecture and other interiors of the building. So definitely room for improvement here. There is no bar or restaurant in the building. The reception staff was semi-friendly to outright lazy at times. Seemed like every question asked was more of a nuisance and staff seemed to be often occupied with other things. Felt a bit like second-jobbers or at least non-professionals in the field.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent breakfast Excellent location, central and well conected Excellent staff
Cons: The towels, must be changed with new one

Pros: The staff was outstanding Hilary Cohen was the best. Ms. Cohen went out of her way to help make my stay as pleasant as possible. She also provided the same diligent service to other guests Both the day manager (a younger man whose name I forget) and evening manager were exceptional. All the people who work there were helpful and friendly. The Hotel also had unique glass artwork which gave the place character. I would highly recommend anybody to stay at this Best Western.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The location is very good, one block from the beach. There is no water view, but the walk is 3 minutes to a very good part of the beach. It's a 20-minute walk along the beach to the old town, with beachside cafes along the way. No need for a taxi if you like to walk. The suite has a sitting room/kitchen with a door to the bedroom and a door off the bedroom to the bathroom, so privacy like a small apartment. The decor is all white, simple and clean. Happy with the room.
9,0 Excellent

Pros: Amazing hotel with lots of restaurants close by and walking distance from Carmel Market. Only wished we could spend another couple of days.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Wonderful breakfast. Loved the happy hour drinks. Charming boutique hotel.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Loved the staff, especially manager Moshe and Ivar at front desk, went out of their way to be helpful and spend time talking with us, making reservations and packing our travel breakfast (and more!). They are best example of what makes a boutique hotel special and worth the money!
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Good service at the front desk and the breakfasts were terrific. The hotel's location is outstanding for a visit to Tel Aviv. The bar's vibe was good and our stay was very enjoyable. We visited the Rothschild once before and it will in all probability remain a go to hotel for us.
Cons: The only complaint is minor: The lighting in the bathroom "vanity" mirror was a bit off both in colour and in brightness. Otherwise everything was excellent.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Classy hotel with family touch in a top rated location. The area is truly fantastic and the rooms are cleverly designed and have a warm feel. Great coffee for breakfast and lovely staff.
Cons: Low value for money, even by TA standard. The hotel foyer/reception is not particularly well designed and the hotel needs better ventilation / air fresheners, especially in the lobby area. The deluxe room was rather small and the bed could have been comfortable. Some environmentally friendly features such as a filtered water in a jug do not work -- we would have liked two bottles of quality water in glass bottles. We did not think much of the toiletries either.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful staff Great location
Cons: Low bed
8,2 Excellent
Pros: Great staff. Super nice people. The hotel itself...meh..definitely definitely not five star, perhaps not even four. Tiny room and bed so small I could barely fit. Noise from hallway came into room. I'd say it's a good four star.
Cons: The bed was tiny, barely fit one person.

Pros: -
Cons: The rate for my room was defently the opposite of "value for money" .It was outrages pricey, I had 2 coffees and 1 piece of cake at the lobby and I paid 70 NIS for that!the room was nice ,but not more!

Cons: Hotel charged me extra night AFTER I paid bill!
7,1 Good
Pros: Quite good breakfast
Cons: The price for the room is pretty high in such hotel.
7,0 Good
Pros: Nice location, close to major sights of TLV. Hotel is huge and has all the needed facilities. Nice view from the room!Huge thanks to bellboy Jonathan in his help with accommodation-he is indeed an example of customer orientation!
Cons: This hotel needs renovation - both rooms & restaurant area are very tired. Some of the rooms are positioned as “renovated”,but are shabby on the inside. The quality of room cleaning is very mediocre - ton of dust was left after each cleaning. Attitude of the staff is another issue - basically everyone from reception to restaurant employees don’t care much about the customer - there were few minor issues we need to fix,and we as guests were totally on our own! Hotel mgmt needs to spend more time on retraining staff to better meet customer needs.

Pros: Great atmosphere. Something for everyone. Staff friendly and helpful. Great value. Breakfast was incredible. Beautiful view from the rooftop.
Cons: Nothing negative to say.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: It's a gigantic hostel. XXL large, super big with tens of people staying there. So it has all the facilities you can only imagine. Any help from staff, open roof, large common room, nice breakfast - are available there. Staying there is a very practical idea.
Cons: It's super big. So if you are looking for a cozy, family feeling, tiny place - this is not the one. But at the same time it's not a disadvantage. Be ready for it - I might only suggest.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Free Breakfast Awesome staff Great location So much to do Just the best hostel I’ve stayed in, and I’ve stayed in a lot!
Cons: only negative is that I didn’t get to stay longer :)
6,3 Good
Pros: Big space of the room; the room looked quite clean; rooms/restaurant/reception are all spacious; breakfast until 10 00; good control-cameras in the deposit room; music
Cons: Behaviour of the stuff like we the guests are cheaters. the stuff - thin tall black hair guy was aggressive towards all guests including me during at least 1 hour that we were sitting on the reception; the hostel significantly charge more than it is the price for their services (my bank card); you as a guest feel like you are welcome only to leave your money and to disappear from the hostel and the country
9,6 Excellent
Pros: It is an awesome place for families, couples, group travelers or solo travelers. They are fully prepared to host everyone, all ages. Abraham Hostel is much more than just a hostel, they have so many different activities and entertainment that you can spend weeks there and do not get bored. The common area, lounge and rooftop are a absolutely awesome and big. Kitchen is fully equipped, always clean and have free water, tea and coffee. All the property is very clean. They have many communal showers and W.C around the place, you will never have to face queues or wait to use toilet or take a hot shower. The breakfast is fantastic, you have many options that you can be full for hours. They have a good number of staff, all of them incredibly friendly and helpful. Awesome people! Long story short, amazing place thay is recommended for everyone.
Cons: It is located in a 25 walk from the beach. Not a big problem though.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Over the last 6 months, I traveled to 14 countries throughout Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, and the Middle East. This is the best hostel I've ever stayed in. Breakfast was amazing! Lots of options and love having bottomless cappuccino or espresso. Not many hostels offer breakfast over several hours that are actually convenient for travelers, so I greatly appreciated that it started at 6:45am. Even the sheer amount of dining space available was great, with options for cafeteria style seating or something more cozy. Also loved having a door-to-door shuttle between Abraham Hostels, which made my transfer to the hostel in Jerusalem effortless, particularly with baggage that would've been a hassle on public transport. Abraham Tours are also 10% off with any hostel stay, and I booked one already affordable tour in advance with this discount. Fairly certain I will be doing 1-2 more!

Pros: spacious room, spacious bathroom, very modern facilities and nice decoration, you feel very comfortable in the hotel room and the hotel is quiet if you take one of the higher floors. The hotel is near sarona market, but a bit distant from other locations like white city, dizengoff, jaffa or beach. So if you are fine with taking a taxi then the hotel is perfect.
Cons: nothing. Just keep in mind that the location is not ideal if you like to be in the city center (even though the hotel is in the city center, it is not near the typical locations you would visit as a tourist). Other than that the hotel is great.
7,0 Good
Pros: Nice and comfortable room
Cons: It was advertised as having an airport shuttle which it did not. I booked it for the sole reason that it had a shuttle. We ended up paying $50 for a taxi to the airport. Was not happy!
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Excellent central location. Only 2 stops on the train from the airport and 2 minutes walk under cover to the hotel. Walking distance to many locations .
Cons: Poor ventilation in the restaurant and awful coffee! We did discuss it with the manager and he will try to make improvements as soon as possible.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The personal of the hotel is just amazing! Thank you so much for your help and support!

Pros: Location is fantastic. Everything is clean and perfectly maintained The sky deck is great Fantastic breakfast!
Cons: The lady at reception had an attitude We expected more from the more expensive room we booked. The window was very small and that made the room a bit claustrophobic, and not great value for money

Pros: Nice modern rooms and clean, reception very friendly.
Cons: Personnel not very friendly at breakfast, difficult to be seated. Bicycles bit worn out.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Location to the beach was great. A short taxi ride to Jaffa. A short walk to the Port with tons of shops and restaurants
Cons: The front desk kept telling us there was nothing open because of Shabbat. We found a lot of stuff open in Jaffa and then found the Port full of activity later at night
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Clean, very clean. Nice staff, very often helpful. Nice happy hour on the roof of the hotel. I had a very fresh room facing north ..
Cons: Everything was all right except the waiters in the dining room; obviously that was not their job and same for the manager of the dining room. Dinner was not always served and this is disappointing, since it can be annoying going out for dinner every evening. Much to work on this.

Pros: Great location Great breakfast. Best in Israel.
Cons: Small rooms!

7,0 Good
Cons: No plug in the sink basin and having to walk for breakfast
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Great place, very good location
4,6 Okay
Pros: The location
Cons: This is a most expensive hotel for the limited kind of services it offers: 1) You must leave the room at 11:00 am which leaves almost no time to spend at the hotel if you come for one day -the staff is very inflexible in this respect -We would expect a much more open and creative approach for the price we paid 2) the room is small, there is no coffee or fridge in the room 3) the towels are small and very few In sum , not worth for the price you pay !

1,0 Poor
Pros: Honestly there is nothing I liked :)
Cons: I paid around 390$ for 1 night as a single person for 1 room because I had a medical exam the next morning in the same hotel - so I basically booked the suite (they told me there were no smaller rooms left). The room's equipment, facilities and cleanness were not good at all considering the amount of money I paid. The balcony smelled so bad - like bunch of alcoholics just drank and smoked there for hours with the smell of bad alcohol drifting away - It was simply stinking and I couldn't even go out there to stand. At night I had to wake up at 04:00 am from sleep because some unethical workers were moving bunch of stuff in the hallways and hitting every single wall - it was so loud ! Anyway, to summarize things up for you - IT IS NOT WORTH THE MONEY. In that amount of money per night I could have slept in a more honorable deluxe hotel and enjoyed every second of it.

Cons: The food was of a very good standard and very tasty
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The Rimonim breakfast buffet is superb. Right now, 75 shekels for non-guests... i may come back for breakfast later just because it was so good. Salads, stuffed vegetables, tasty things I would never have thought of. Wish I had a reduced rate monthly breakfast pass. It was everything i wanted and more :)
Cons: whats not to like
5,8 Okay
Cons: First day the toothpaste was not there. The toothpaste I received after asking for 1, was not good at all. I had to buy new toothpaste. Bath Gel provided on day one was of very good quality. From next day onwards bath gel was very liquid without thickness & consistency. No universal adapter was available at hotel. When requested if the mobile can be kept was charging with one of the personnel's personal charger in the reception itself, it was denied! No extra efforts were shown by the staff to offer help.

Pros: Breakfast was nice. Staff very friendly and helful
Cons: The location is not ideal but was booked because near my office
9,4 Excellent
Pros: Everything you could expect, staff was amazing, hotel is modern and has every facility and comfort you would need and expect.
Cons: Israel is hot, it would seem that they have the thermostats set although you can change, wont cool.
6,0 Good
Pros: Location, 5m walk to the nearest train station. The hotel staff are very good.
Cons: The location and the hotel is good, this visit I booked to then find out that there would be no restaurant at the hotel but there would be breakfast. The breakfast on my previous visit offered a good variation. Now you have only an egg menu above std Israeli breakfast, this is for just over £21. All this, the restaurant and breakfast was only communicated after I booked and yet the prices did not change to reflect the reduced facilities. Disappointing for a hotel that is part of a large group of hotels.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Central location close to TA Savidor Central train station.
Cons: You had to pay extra for breakfast

Pros: It was quiet !!!
Cons: Hotel can do with a face lift
3,1 Mediocre
Pros: The breakfast was pretty good and the staff at breakfast was super friendly.
Cons: I consistently had rude staff at the check in. The room (1222) had a warped floor that desperately needed to be redone, the toilet barely worked, the shower was uncomfortably small. The AC was basically not controllable or consistent, and the internet went out for a significant period of time. When I called down to have my room cleaned, I was meet with hostility. The gym is also way too crowded with equipment and not comfortable. And I was paying $350 a night!!!! Offensive. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel. Period. I regreat having stayed there.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast is excellent and all the staff are super friendly
Cons: I'm not a fan of hard floors in bedrooms and prefer soft carpet
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Nice and helpfull staff
6,3 Good
Pros: Location, staff and view
Cons: Very expensive, not clean.
6,8 Good
Pros: The early check in (5am) clerk was outstanding. Very understanding and helpful. The room was big. My tv complaints were cared for as best as possible but with little satisfaction since the problem was mechanical in nature. I got from the airport to the hotel by rail and foot in about 25 minutes which was very convenient.
Cons: The television remote only worked within 3 feet of the TV, wifi was pretty bad and dropped off a lot, the furnishings looked dated, the phone operator was rude, it was hard to leave the hotel at night since there weren't many options. Furnishings and carpet should be upgraded. Breakfast was very overpriced at 23 USD. It would be nice to have non-kosher options for international non-Jewish guests.
5,4 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: I've stayed here for a number of years now, but many of the rooms are in need of updating. For this price the hotel should have modern and clean rooms and bathrooms.
