The location is just perfect! Clean and cozy room.
Confusing and claustrophobic corridors to get to the room 210.
Location was amazing, especially for the price
Location is fantastic. Exactly where you want to be in Lisbon. TV was small but had CNN BBC and Sky which I like. Shared bathrooms were mostly okay and not busy. Room was nice enough.
Had a Nike shirt, earphones and (strangely enough) deodorant stolen from my room. I asked the cleaner where my shirt was (which was wet in the morning as I'd hung it up). She laughed and said she didnt know and hadn't seen it. Not the end of the world but I've never had anything stolen out of a room before and I travel extensively. I emailed the hotel to complain and also let reception know at the sister hotel. No response at all. The cleaners run this hotel. They check you in and give you keys. No reception. Brilliant location but my room faced the street and the rubbish collectors work all night. Very noisy between 1am and 4am. Windows open due to no aircon and it was hot!
It is ideally located in the center of Lisboa close to all major sights or within easy reach by metro or tram. At first it was a bit disappointing as the stairways looked in need of repair and there was no lift but then we were welcomed by a charming lady who took us to our room despite our being early. She was very patient and kind to us and and took us through what looked like a labyrinth to our room which was sparkling clean and tastefully furnished. We felt very comfortable although our room was with shared bathroom but it has a basin and a bidet, which was more than we expected. There is complimentary coffee and cakes in the corridor! Also we could have our flight reservations printed with no fuss at all at the reception in the main hotel, which saved us a lot of trouble. Very happy with the choice we have made!
Located close to city center, tram stop, restaurants etc., so no issue to get to the main venues.
Bed and room in general are too small even for two people. No airco, so you have to open the windows, but apartments are facing croweded restaurant street, that never sleeps. It's always either people or trash tracks or food supplier trucks etc.etc., but never quite. Also apartments are located on the 2d floor, there is no lift, keep it in mind if you have heavy suitcases.
With a stay at Pensão Flor da Baixa, you'll be centrally located in Lisbon, just a 3-minute walk from Rossio Square and 6 minutes by foot from Santa Justa Elevator. The front desk is staffed during limited hours.
