Pros: The location is almost perfect (not easy to walk from the train station). The rooms are exceptional with extremely comfortable beds. The staff are so pleasant and responsive...we will likely be back again in another year for a longer stay. The bathrooms are the best design of any I've encountered in an hotel...and so clean. Elegant bar and restaurant in the lobby and state of the art key systems to get upstairs.

Pros: We have chosen this hotel based on guests reviews . Firstly the check in process was very smooth and fast as our three Superior Rooms were ready and allocated prior to our arrival which is a professional act from the hotel. Secondly the hotel location is fantastic as stated by previous guests reviews surrounded by every thing e.g. restaurant , café , shopping mall and street etc... The hotel has a Valet Parking service available cost € 25 per day , however there is approx. 50 metres away from the hotel a parking ( name : Parkplatz Reichsstraße ) costs € 15 per day near Kaffeehaus Riquet café . I suggest if the parking is either free if it's own by the hotel or at cheaper cost for hotel's guests . The breakfast costs € 29 . The internet WiFi is free and good . I suggest to add more TV channels including English and Arabic Channels . The hotel staff are very friendly , cooperative and smiling all the time . We had a good experience at this hotel and we do strongly recommend it

Cons: We retuned to this hotel beacuase we liked almost everything about it. Coffee was a little disappointing. Would like to see Nesprésso machines in the rooms and more creamer for the coffee.

Cons: I appreciate the hotel services and staff. But the following might be considered in the future. The breakfast is limited to few options and they were almost the same for the five nights that I have spent. The second thing is regarding the business center if you need to do some work. I needed to work on a computer to upload some files to my site. Most of hotels offer business center for doing work. However, it was not available.

Cons: Nothing not liked... It doesn't have a pool and they would obviously be nice. Breakfast at €29pp unless in room rate is expensive though we didn't have and I'm sure that the spread would have been very extensive, but lots of areas to grab breakfast around the hotel.

Pros: The location is excellent and the rooms are clean.
Cons: The staff at reception is very unfriendly and they specifically don't like children. During the booking we have requested a baby-cot. Even though we were able to enter the room at 4:30pm, the cot was till not there and it took several calls and extra 30mins to get it. Before the check-in we needed to change the diaper of the little one and it turned out that there is no toilet equipped with the baby changing table. We were not offered a welcome drink as well, while all others were. During the breakfast as well, we were fully ignored just because of children messing up a bit around the table. We booked this hotel to get best service for the money we paid, but was not the case.

Car parking was most expensive in Leipzig and in the open, go figure. You had to pay to use the pool which was disappointing. They also took a security deposit which took 3 days to be released even though I was assured by two staff members (at check-in and at check-out) it would be immediate.

Also, the individual lights and sockets are a plus to make it just great. The kitchen is very well equipped and clean. Common areas are well designed. The bathroom is also very nice, with lots of space and clean. We can tell that the place is very well cared and the staff is very friendly!

Cons: The street is being renovated at the moment, so it is not very convenient to walk there with suitcases. The check-in was difficult. When we got at the hotel, there was a problem with the door, which was not opening. Therefore, we called the number given for emergencies in the window. The person was not speaking English, only German. In the end, we could get in. The room was small. The decor dates from the 80s, there is no safe, no fridge. We could perfectly hear everything happening in neighbouring rooms.

Pros: The lady on reception was extremely helpful and accommodating to any request. They speak a variety of languages which is also helpful. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean with a good sized TV and hanging space in the closet. We were upgraded to the superior room which was greatly appreciated as it included a great coffee machine. I was happy to finally find a hotel with decent pillows. Breakfast had a a good variety and everything was fresh. Location is a 15 minute stroll into the main city or there is a tram line a block away. There was ample free street parking in the surrounding streets so it's no problem to find a park. I would happily stay here again.

Cons: I booked a room with twin bed and got two single beds - had to call reception to have this problem solved. And unfortunately, the only solution was to put both beds one next to another.

Pros: The lady on reception was extremely helpful and accommodating to any request. They speak a variety of languages which is also helpful. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean with a good sized TV and hanging space in the closet. We were upgraded to the superior room which was greatly appreciated as it included a great coffee machine. I was happy to finally find a hotel with decent pillows. Breakfast had a a good variety and everything was fresh. Location is a 15 minute stroll into the main city or there is a tram line a block away. There was ample free street parking in the surrounding streets so it's no problem to find a park. I would happily stay here again.
Cons: The curtains didn't fully cover the windows so the light came in early but as the room offered nice views, this wasn't a big problem.

Cons: The room wasn't clean, we found hair in the bathtub and floors were dirty. The room and bathroom were so small and the sink had issues. The rooms are all the way up to the 7th floor so if you are with a family, this is not the max comfort.

Not all guest would know what he could be talking about (in German) when talking to other guests so he should be polite to suggest any misunderstanding. Ridiculous that you have to still ask for kitchen access!!?!? Whole place is super big but kitchen can fit only 2/3 people max if are cooking. Such a disappointing experience.

Pros: Hotel is about 3-4 minutes walk from the Hauptbahnhof, on the edge of the city centre. Very easy to find. They allowed me to drop off my baggage as I arrived before check-in. Decor seemed a bit old fashioned. But the hotel and room was clean. A good sized room equipped with hob, sink and fridge along with a kettle and some coffee and tea. So if you wanted to cook something light it was all there. No air-con, so only option was to open the windows. The staff were great all round. I found the wifi very hit and miss. When it worked it was very good, but too often there was no connection. Happy to recommend to stay in Leipzig.

Cons: It was very hot in the room and there was no aircon (outside temperatures were 27C). There was a single bottle of red wine standing on a platter which looked like a welcome drink but is actually part of the "bar-fridge" and therefore charged. Pillow is very, very, very fluffy/soft.

Cons: The hotel is housed in a Soviet-era apartment building which doesn’t seem to have been renovated in decades. The furniture is IKEA (literally) and, the one in the living room are was quite stained. All the electrical work has been done over the walls surfaces and placed in cable strips, which doesn’t look professional nor particularly safe. The bathroom had mold growing both on the ceiling and by the soap containers. There is no decoration whatsoever, only stark blank walls (grayish-green) and dingy looking furniture.

Cons: There was no air con in the room we had and it was closed up all day, so it was very stuffy, the place hasn’t had a refurb since the 80s by the looks of things. My main disappointment was the staff, there was a little old man on the desk that couldn’t speak a word of English and continued to speak at us in german like we understood a word he was saying. Took about half an hour to check in and for him to give us our room key. He was also very smelly and scruffy for a front desk worker. The morning staff were just as useful as the evening guy.

Cons: Searched via booking.com for place with parking facilities. Arrived late at night and the street was closed because of construction work. Called the hotel and asked for help how to get to the hotel. “sorry, the city has decided to renovate the streets, so access and parking is not available. Me: “So can you please help with some parking recommendations? “No, sorry” was the answer. Luckily I found a parking house via google maps. Needed to walk 25 minutes with tired children and luggage to find the hotel. Was it a big surprise that construction suddenly happened during the night? Never meet so bad service, stay away.
